It makes us feel safer to think that the police will always "get their man." With the amount of evidence against Nick and the lack of another suspect, I probably would have thought he was guilty. However, I don't believe I would go on the attack the way this community did.
You never really know how you'll react until you are put into this type of situation. Want to hope I'd be rational but if my child was murdered - not sure I could be
Everyone did seem to jump on the bandwagon but unfortunately this is human nature sometimes. There was evidence although Nick was honest about what happened and his story seemed reasonable to me. And given his character it all did seem a little excessive. I think this is why Morgan's family stuck up for him and she agreed to represent him.
