Since we soon get the killer’s point of view, we know Nick didn’t murder Tessa. When you considered his innocence, how did his experience in jail affect you?

It was difficult to read about his jail experience knowing he is innocent but has no way out. It was also frustrating to think that an entire life can be ruined before guilt has been determined.

That was hard to read - having to deal with jail and look out for yourself amongst real criminals - when you're innocent. Scary.

It's pretty awful. And when you think about it not a good system. A person is supposed to be innocent till proven guilty but the fact that people who can't afford it can't make bail is an injustice in itself.
