Lucy and Daphne’s intel correctly identify the Trembly gang’s next target and thwart their getaway, except for Amanda who they catch later. However, they had to work behind Crutcher’s back to get the plan in front of the right people. What do you imagine will be the longer term impact on Crutcher’s career, if anything?

Lucy continues to just bury the people who doubt her and her instincts. This is definitely not going to help Crutcher's career. Everyone in the office knows what happened.

He might be similar to Nolasko, though, and skate through difficulties.

I wonder what the person(s) in authority over Crutcher think about this case.

He might skate, but I have to believe that his superiors will watch him a little more closely in the future. I hope that Crutcher learned something from this experience and will listen even if the information comes from someone with less experience in the future.

You know, there’s what’s in a file and what’s in people’ s memory. Remember when Lucy went looking for info on Jason Lopez? People who worked with him in prior assignments and/or offices described him as a “pleaser,” which describes him rather perfectly. It’s the informal feedback that will limit his career. His behavior here will be hard to forget, especially as he was so wrong in his direction.
