Lucy sees the prisoners communicating by a form of sign language and determines that they’re conspiring together. She and Nate alert everyone of the heightened risk, asking for backup and increasing their communication intervals. Was there anything else they could have done to prepare for what eventually happened?

[Anita]

Turn back. But roads were flooded everywhere. There was really no good answer all around. At least they were on high alert when it went down.

[Jonetta]

Nate and Lucy did everything right. They knew something was up and both were at heightened alert. Unfortunately, Riley was their weak link.

[Robin]

With the storm flooding everything, I don't know of anything else they could have done.

[Charlene]

Once they were in their predicament, I think they did everything they could possibly have done.

[Sharon]

I agree. They prepared for something to happen, asked for backup, and proceeded with caution. There was nothing more that they could do at this point.

[Jonetta]

I think they might have been more surprised if nothing happened.
