I think the fault in our stars it pretty good (it was the first book i read in english) and it doesnt have any explicit scenes so you re good

not necessarily, she likes murder and mystery too so I was thinking maybe A Good Girl's Guide to Murder would be cool
I already have the hunger games trilogy in english so that's convenient lol

i think it could be "See You In The Cosmos" By Jack Cheng. It's a great adventure, light and funny. Obviously no smut.
