I will probably concentrate on speculative fiction for this challenge. I hope to read at least 5 titles.

1. Kindred by Octavia E. Butler. Time travel between 1976 and early nineteenth century during slavery. Finished April 8.

2. Sea of Tranquility by Emily St. John Mandel. Time travel. Pandemics, real and fictional. Colonies on the moon. Finished May 1.

3. The Sentence by Louise Erdrich. Supernatural elements: ghost, rugaroo, book with magical powers. Finished May 17.

5. Songs for the End of the World by Saleema Nawaz. Fictional pandemic.

I won't finish this before the end of the quarter, but I'm more than halfway through so I'm including it anyway.
