Demetria is a young girl with a kind heart. She doesn't have much of a temper and she isn't the best and showing her feelings. Demetria doesn't like making her personal life known to the public, which she hates about the selection, but she'll deal with it until the prince sends her home, which is what she expects him to do.
She loves to take pictures of nature; mainly ice and snow scenes she found in her homeland of Yukon. Demetria is also a singer. When it comes to it, she isn't a calm one. Demetria enjoys and is good at producing rap music and playing the guitar. She's become famous inder a secret identity which nobody knows, including royalty, all over the world. And she doesn't want the world to know her identity until she dies. Demetria also doesn't like concerts so, she doesn't have any for her rap music though sometimes she will do some choir to help out her mother.
Demetria hates extremely hot environments. She can't stand it being over 90 degrees. But, she can be outside without a coat as cold as 30 degrees, which she enjoys. Demetria loves the cold weather and she enjoys snow. She doesn't like rainy weather and sleet but, she does enjoy sunny weather and partly cloudy weather.
Demetria doesn't like eating fish. But, she enjoys meats like steak and pork. She also likes fruits and vegetables, which was rare for her family to get in her home of Yukon.

Demetria was born to her mother and father. She was one of three triplets. Herself, the first born daughter, Aurelia Onyx, and her little sister who was born after her, Tanda Onyx. She had three older brothers. The oldest was Irvin Onyx. Then the twin boys, Akaki and Hansi Onyx.
She was raised in the cold state of Yukon. Everything was fine, other then her parents favoring her older sister Aurelia, who they had appropriately named after the word "golden". So, Demetria's father and older brothers took care of her and Tanda. Until of course, when Demetria's mother and father got into a fight when she was 5. That's when her life really changed.
Her parents were fighting inside their small cabin house. She and her sisters were outside playing. Her brothers were watching them. Watching them carefully when they noticed a bear. Irvin was able to grab Aurelia, the spoiled brat daughter of the family, while she ran with the twins. Her little sister though, wasn't fast enough. And when her father came out with a gun to see what the commotion was, the bear had killed Tanda and was watching the rest of the kids.
Demetria's father killed the bear and after Tanda's funeral, it became time for Demetria to get a job. Well, learn to get one.. Her father helped her out since he was a country singer and she learned to play guitar while her mother raised Aurelia to be a classical opera singer. The boys, well, they were off someplace by now. Demetria never learned where they were. Sadly.
By the time she was ten, she could play guitar easily. So, she tried to sing. But instead, she learned how to rap. And by the time she was twelve, she was publishing rap songs, without her parents knowing and becoming famous under the name, "Winter Alpha". She never got the fame in public though, which she was fine with.
At age 15, Demetria found a camera for the first time. And she got some amazing pictures on her first shoot. Which she published under her real name so she looked as though she had a bit of a job. And the photos made her known across Illea quickly. Meanwhile, her sister was struggling to make a living off of her opera singing and piano. And her mother was not happy about this. But, they continued on with life.
Eventually, Demetria's mom was very upset because she was making more from photography ( and the rap music she produced without them knowing ) then her sister was making of opera performances.
When the announcement was made that the selection would take place and ladies would be able to apply her mother wanted it to be Aurelia's chance. But, her father had something else to say. So, she was entered into the selection along with her sister, which her mother discovered after she'd entered ( like literally, a couple minutes after Demetria's name was placed into the box ). And of course, her mother wasn't happy. But, they didn't think she'd be the chosen girl.
When the day came for the selection, Demetria spent most of her day pre-recording music in her room, with the door locked, and none of her family found her secret job. When they sat down to watch the show, everybody didn't expect what was coming. And when her nae was called, Demetria was slapped by her mother and struck by her sister. Her father and brothers quickly helped her out and showed the other ladies in the home who was the boss.
Demetria no longer has any scars for the blows she took the night her name was announced. And she is secretly producing music in her room of the castle under the name of "Winter Alpha". Along with some photography though, she hasn't really taken much at the castle.

Kaki is a pretty lazy guy. He can also be bossy and makes his maids do basically everything for him. Yes, he does have favorite maids as well and he rewards those few maids with special prizes secretly.

Kaki was born to his mother and father in the palace. He grew up there surrounded by the sae maids he has today. The maids who he loves and who know what he likes and wants.
Kaki's first trip was to Illea. This trip took place when he was three. This was a great trip for Kaki. Or well, an experience for him. On this trip, it was Kaki's first time out of the castle surprisingly. Kaki was not well behaved basically and he made some of the rudest comments that ended up getting him and his parents kicked out of the castle after a total of three days of staying there. And that, was his first trip out of the castle and to Illea.
After the awful embarrassment, Kaki's parents raised him to be a real king. He stared getting out of the castle and Kaki took lessons on how to be a better prince and king. And of course other things that he needed to know as well.
By the age of 10, Kaki was ready for another trip. But, this time, it wasn't to Illea. It was to China to visit the chinese emperor. So, when he got there, there were a few things he noticed. First, the chinese emperor had three kids. Second, Kaki seemed to think of it as a test. Third, the food there tasted really good. After a month of staying in China, they returned home and Kaki had proven that he was much better fit to be a prince.
When he turned 11, his parents took him and his siblings to Illea again. This time, he was much more behaved and he noticed proved himself to be a fine prince to his father and the Illean royals. Throughout his time there, Kaki spent time doing business with his parents and the Illea royalty. By the time they left, it had been two weeks there and his parents were proud of his performance that they'd seen.
They didn't travel for a year after that though so, Kaki began to have time out of the castle and met pretty japanese girls everywhere. He did what he could to impress them and usually, they all were taken and their boyfriends got annoyed at him but, he kept on going with his attempts. Meanwhile, Kaki was also learning more about being a king and ruling a country as well as how to fight now.
After a boring, well, exciting year at home, his father took him and only him on a trip. They spent a week in Spain, a month in China, two weeks in Illea, a week in Italy, and a week in Asia. When they returned home, Kaki had learned a lot and knew more about being a leader. Which made him cut down on his shenanigans.
Kaki continued to learn and train. He still hits on girls in the city when he can, and he went on various trips with his father and with his family over the years.
A little while ago, Kaki learned he was going to have a selection and it upset him. He'd been working so hard to impress the princess of Illea and now his father wanted to marry some japanese girl that was selected.
Now, Kaki is sixteen. He has completed his military training and is the first in line for the throne. He is the leader of the Japanese troops with the generals underneath him and taking advice. Kaki continues to try and impress the Illean princess even though he has a selection coming up in a year or two.

Chun is a very "hold your head high" kind of woman. She is very formal and is never seen doing anything that isn't royal-like. She rules the Chinese with an iron fist and makes sure everything stays in order, while also making sure all the peasants' needs are met.
Chun's personality when behind castle walls is very different. She is very mean and demanding of her guards and cooks but, will always know the limit-which is usually set by health and medical needs like sleep and food.
To other royals who visit, she appears to be a soft kind older woman ruling a powerful empire. When she has visitors she is always nicer than usual and allows her staff to have extra time off to ensure that the visitors will cooperate-by thinking she's a kind ruler.
Chun isn't an entirely mean woman. She has three soft spots. Her three daughters. From random unknown pregnancies that she never predicted to happen. The fathers are unknown to her daughters and even to herself.
Chun enjoys a few certain things. The first thing she enjoys is control. She enjoys having control and making sure her people are safe. Some might say she's a mad woman but deep down, they all know every decision made by her benefited them even if it harmed the empress.
Chun also likes gold and riches. Many things are done by her to get more of it. And most of it is kept in her vault but when a problem catches her eye she is willing to spend it to find a solution or if there is a poor homeless villager- that she confirms and has executed if lying then she will give a bit to them to help them survive and get the essentials to live.
Chun hates animals. Except for cats. She banished all creatures from her castle except for cats and she has what people say are probably hundreds of them.
Chun also hates men. Just in general. She preaches to her daughters about normal biases and how they often harm a woman more than care for her.

Chun Hai Wang was born to only a mother. She had no father and nobody knew who he was. She had two older sisters at birth. An Wang was about ten years older than her and Quing Wang was seven years older than her.
As she grew up her mother was strict and made it obvious that her birth was a mistake. She was never allowed to be seen in public or learn anything but proper royal edicute. Eventually, her mother died and her eldest sister had to fight for the throne. But, An Wang won because she was the eldest heir.
By the time Chun was ten, she'd been living under her sisters feet like a puppet and she was getting tired of it. That was when she caught wind of a small rumor of rebels wanting to poison her sister because of the awful village conditions. She was a kind person and warned Empress An Wang but, was laughed at and beaten.
The next morning, she was awakened by a rush of guards and nurses all worried sick about the empress. When her eldest sister was pronounced dead, her second eldest took the throne becoming Empress Quing Wang.
Her sister blamed her quicker than a frog catching a fly for the empress's death even though all proof pointed away from her and she was placed into the royal dungeon where she lived for four long years until she was 14.
At the age of 14 she was finally released from the dungeon, and she quickly learned that things had changed. The royal family was rich but the villagers were poor and protesting. Her sister, Quing Wang had just died of a heart attack and the villagers didn't want her fiance to be the emperor. Instead, they had called for her to be crowned the empress. So, she accepted.
The first thing she did was banish her sister, Quing Wang's fiance and three-year-old baby from the empire. She never knew where they went but, she didn't care. She was crowned empress a few days later on her 15th birthday.
As empress, Chun began nicely hoping the people were better than her sisters. But, she was wrong when they turned out very greedy after receiving half of the empire's gold stash to help fix the villages. The money was hoarded and used on useless things which upset her and she vowed to become the harshed and most powerful emperor yet...
As her reign began, she had an adviser to help her. The list presented to her had things like foreign affairs and making sure she had heirs. The empress knew she didn't want an heir but she was forced to have one. But, she decided to delay it.
As her reign went on, the empire became richer and more stable. It stayed free from as many affairs as possible and stayed out of war. Of course, she had to attend a few foreign affairs meetings. The first was a worldwide meeting to help preserve the earth for future generations. She attended at the age of 18 and spent time socializing and meeting the other leaders there. The event was hosted in Spain and she learned plenty about their people.
A year after the event, she had her first child. It was a surprise pregnancy and everyone was in shock. She didn't know how it had happened since she hadn't done anything to cause a pregnancy so she suspected she'd been raped in her sleep. Never the less, she took care of her first child.
After five years, she had taken great care of her country except for the part that the people were at the brink of war with japan. So, at the age of 24, she went to Japan to sort out a treaty and keep the peace. Again, when she returned home, she was pregnant. She had more guards and was neve left alone when in Japan so she and her advisers were confused but cared for her second child.
As the Chinese Empire began to thrive many men who wanted power, mainly nobles, tried to ask her hand in marriage. Eventually, the empress made on bad decision. She made it illegal to ask a royal's hand in marriage with the punishment of a death penalty if broken. The bombardment ended with a few hundred deaths and she relaxed and was happy.
At the age of 30, she had her third foreign affair to work on trade agreements to make sure her country had enough medicine to survive a plague coming through. After some gold trades and a visit to Italy, her country survived with minimal cost except for a bit less gold.
At the age of 31, she gave birth to her third daughter. At this point, the pattern of leaving the country became clear it had something to do with her pregnancies so, she vowed to never leave again. And the foreign affairs became stricter.
Now, she has three daughters and a stable powerful empire. Her eldest daughter is 22 years old. Her middle/second daughter is 16 years old. Her youngest daughter is 10 years old.

FAMILY OVERVIEW / BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Ricarda Clara O'Shannon is the youngest child and only daughter of the O'Shannon family. Her parents are Micarda O'Shannon and Samual O'Shannon.
Her mother has been pregnant five times. The first and eldest sibling is her older brother who is ten years older than her. He is a professional pianist that travels across Illea. This brother is Jared O'Shannon. Jared is 26 years old and a caste two.
Her mother's second pregnancy was triplets two years later. These boys are 24 years old at the moment. The firstborn of the three triplets is a castle guard. His name is Dustin O'Shannon. The secondborn of the triplets is an Illean police officer. His name is George O'Shannon. The thirdborn of the triplets is an actor. His name is Leo O'Shannon.
Her mother's third pregnancy was twins. These boys are 21 years old currently. The first is a palace guard name Vincint O'Shannon and the second is a singer named Connor O'Shannon.
Her mother's fourth pregnancy was a single boy. This boy is currently 19 tears old and is a firefighter. His name is Eric O'Shannon.
Her mother's fifth pregnancy was a twin boy and girl. The boy is obviously her twin brother, the firstborn of the two and she was the youngest of all the siblings. Her brother became an actor at a young age and she became a writer following her mother's family's footsteps (all firstborn daughters were writers). LIFE HISTORY
Despite her massive family, Ricarda's childhood was quite normal. She lived in a lovely mansion. Lived off some fame from her mass noble-prize-winning mother and world-class acting father. They had the money to do almost anything but of course rule a country like the palace.
Ricarda spent lots of time in nature. It inspired her to write. Unlike her parents, being outside in the nature or watching people interact to make the events book ideas she noticed plenty of Illea's problems.
So, when her father and mother wanted her to enter the selection to help with their fame, Ricarda entered hoping she could make a difference and change Illea for the better. While still writing novels.
WRITING HISTORY / RELEASED BOOKS
Throughout her years, Ricarda wrote plenty of novels. Her first novel was started at the age of 8 and completed at the age of 10. It was called the Destiny of a Whale. A book about an adventure for a trapped whale to return free to an ocean. The book became popular upon release but sales went down after around two years of release.
Her second book was released when she was 13 and she called it Step on Sand. This was a different style of the book. A romance novel placed on a setting in a coastal beach area. After being published the book was popular for two years but received a mass amount of criticism.
For her third through ninth books she wrote, she wrote a six-book series on an adventure through a deadly country. The first book was released when she was 14 and was a massive hit earning a noble award before the second book was released three months later. By the age of 15, she had released all six books and the series was very popular and had received multiple awards.
When she turned 16, she was writing another single-book romance novel which she is finishing while in the palace. She also has started a second book that is a sort of autobiography of her time in the selection.
