What name for this series?

Now I'm told that the author calls it "Forever series", but the books and the numbering are the same. I don't know if the series was previously known with the other name.

I don't think I have to create another identical series with just a different title, right? I was thinking to edit the description instead.

Should I add "Other title: Forever series" and leave the name of the series as it is, or should I change the series name and add "Previously known as "Un maledetto lieto fine" series"?

I have decided to use the name the author chooses for the "main" title. I have added "Previously known as..." in the description

That is the correct way for a retitled series.
