Great, cute story!
This time I listened to the audio and the awesome narration by Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma made me enjoy this book even more than when I read it.

... I'm not done with my book yet though.

Task 17 - 34. Read 6 books first published between 2000 and 2010.
Books selected for this task need to have been initially published between 1.1.2000 and 12.31.2010. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page, use that one. Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the initial publication date in your completion posts.

so im going to read my last book now and then ill pick something for amazing race after

I've been on such a Barbara Elsborg kick lately I might find one of her earlier works.

Review: It's been a long time since I read an established couple romance by Barbara Elsborg... Hey, I'm not sure I've ever read an established MF couple romance by Barbara Elsborg.
So, just a word to the wise, read with tissues. This one's a bit of a heartbreaker, but it all works out, I promise.
And if you think the boyfriend is a bit of a jerk at the beginning, please stick it out, all will be revealed shortly.
I enjoyed Poppy's character, but the real star of the show is Joe. This guy goes through one heck of an awakening, and his growth is wonderful to watch. Plus he's a real dynamo between the sheets, and nobody writes it better than Barbara Elsborg! A terrific little mystery as well.
Book 2
Man's World by Rupert Smith

Review: Why on Earth did I wait so long to listen to this audiobook??? I've owned it for ages.
The narrator absolutely makes this story - takes it to eleven. All of Rupert Smith's droll and witty dialogue is elevated by Nigel Pilkington's brilliant performance. Amazing!

and I'll probably have time to do a 2nd book for this category if you've still got a SH book to finish Janeylou.

That's great, Trio! Two difficult tasks mastered with one book. 🙂👍🏻

I believe you do earliest Kindle edition with a page count so this one Power of Love-189 Pages since the other one doesn't have a release date

Review: I think this is my favorite Lanyon series. For the first time, I truly like the love interest! The mystery is well done (as to be expected), and I’ve really found myself invested in the relationship

But i do feel a littl better this morning so hopefully i can catch up
And as a special treat have included a clip of MCR singing new single at concert i went to

Considering im not much of a tennis fan , i quite enjoyed this . I thi k you need to bare in mind that it was written 16 years ago so luke fear of coming out was to be expected.
My main fault with this is that , Luke won the championship , outed himself at the same time and then it was fast forward 3 years for an epilogue and then 'the end'..would have like to see them work things out together

Task 18 - 53. Each teammate reads a book set in one of your teammates' home town (born in, raised in, currently live in - all work), teams decide. No pass for this task.
As a team, select one teammate and everyone reads a book set in that teammate’s home town. Please include the selected teammate and their home town in your completion posts. If they live in a big city that is easy enough, but you are free to use the state if their home town is within the US and the country if outside the US. Remember to let me know how you know your book qualifies, be it the title, precis, tags or lists - along with any necessary information or links. I need to know where to look to confirm your books.

Summer Girl Winter Boy by Barbara Elsborg
349 pages
How it Fits: takes place in London, England
Read: 30 May
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Review: Barbara Elsborg has written absolutely the cutest meet cute in the history of romances ever.
With tensions high over missing flights, plus the strain of what both MCs have recently been through, they're held up while their belts tangle and fight for dominance in the airport security bin.
Such wonderful chemistry between these two, and they literally save each other. Which is my favorite part of the plot in a Barbara Elsborg romance. (In addition to the spectacular lovin', of course!)
There's terrific family drama, and a nice little thriller as well. Summer Girl, Winter Boy is a very creative, unique, and thoroughly enjoyable romance novel.
