A re-read for me but one I was really looking forward to. Geo is an admirable guy who is fostering two adorable kids and trying to adopt them. Travis is a successful baseball player who was a fosterkid himself once. They meet at the summer camp Travis´s family is holding every year. The rest is history plus a bit of drama.

Review:
This is such a fun series and I really liked Lennon and Ollie's story. I definitely think this series should be read in order, and without too much time between books, because old characters are included and if you don't know their history then it could take away from the story.
I would have liked some closure around Ollie's ex, as I feel like that was just left unfinished. Also, while I do think this book has a HEA, I hope Ollie and Lennon are in future books so we hear more about how their story evolves - do they move in together? Do they last? All questions I hope to get answers to.

Ashley - 310
Helke - 219
Fiona - 250
Total - 779
So Skye has to read a book with at least 231 pages.

The team has to read 1000 pages. If not all members read I is OK too. So whoever finishes his book first to fill up the 1000 pages gets to call for the next task.

Review: Deputy Joe and Kabe are off to the big city of San Francisco, Kabe's old stomping ground, for the memorial of Kabe's former Dom. Here in the city Joe is clearly uncomfortable and Kabe starts to fall back into bad habits.
We get to see and hear more of the background of Kabe and the people that helped him find his way. Loved his Gram's outlook on life.

This was the third time I read the book and it gutted me again. Mason is so torn up and broken and so beautiful. There is so much pain in all of them and I want to shake the mother and father so hard that their teeth rattle. Read for yourself and find out why ;)
Still a five star read for me btw.

Are you using your pass for this task?
As a reminder to everyone, every teammate needs to participate in every task unless they use their pass. Each teammate only has one pass per round, but is free to use it on any task that allows a pass.
I will assign your next task but because Skye Blue said she was reading a book, if the completion is posted I won't mark the pass as being used for this round. I prefer some comment from a teammate about whether or not they are going to use their pass before assuming.

Task 7 - 35. Read 6 books first published between 2011 and 2020.
Books selected for this task need to have been initially published between 1.1.2011 and 12.31.2020. If there is a date at the top of the editions page use it. Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the initial publication date in your completion posts.

Oh sorry Kat. That was my mistake. I thought it was enough that we finished the required amount of pages and was not aware that everybody had to contribute a book. I think Skye will post her book soon. Shall I refrain from starting the new book?

As many books as I have to reread to continue a story because of my memory, is crazy.
But this book stuck with me for years.
Zach's past isn't something you can easily forget.
I was finished this morning, but at work and unable to post.

I thought I had read this before, but I had it mixed up with another undercover fake relationship book.
It was entertaining once I got into it.
So far it doesn't really stand out. I'll pretty much forget most of it by the end of the day.
But since it's a series with the same MC's, I think it has potential.
Some of my all time favorite series took me 3 books before I was hooked.
Unfortuantly, this series only has 3 books.
I'll give the next one a try, and hope this is a good foundation for the rest of the series to build upon.

Michaels and Judge start out enemies as they are forced to partner up and track a murderer and drug dealer who escaped a drug bust. Both come with baggage - Judge has a broken heart and Michaels is a hot head who doesn't back away from a fight. Both are used to working alone and resent being paired up for this assignment. Once they both realize the other is gay, they find a new way to take out their frustration. Enter steam. As their feelings grow, they both grapple with the idea of a relationship and seeing each other again after the job is completed.
This is the fourth book of Nothing Special and I really enjoyed it. While all the past, usual characters are present, this focuses more on Judge and Michaels and I really enjoyed their story and path to find each other. Michaels came off as such a sweet guy in the last book where he was introduced, but that was far from the case once you got to know him. Judge is a loner with a broken heart who had accepted that he would spend his life alone. This book is super steamy but not in an OTT way. This is my favorite of the series so far and with the way it ended, I'll be sure to read the next one to see what happens with God and Day.

I loved and hated this book. Normally I don't go for book where the author tried very hard to be funny because it shows and I don't like it. In this case there were parts like this and I hated them. Other parts were very funny without being so obvious about it and I loved them. And as I liked Leland very much I gave the book on high rating.

I have, just about finished Not So Silent Night. At 68%. Should finish today.

Read in one sitting. Loved it all and had a tear in my eye when RJ won. But all hope is not lost, hopefully in future books we can see how the fight continues.
Enjoyed seeing Jeremy get a service dog and the difference it made to his life.
5 stars and highly recommended reading but only if you have read Carry the Ocean first

We need to read 6, we have only 4 completed at the moment.

Oh shoot I forgot. OK going to take a look for a book that fits.
ETA: Going to read Hello My Angel

Also, I’m reminded why I prefer MM after reading this. This was my first MF in over 150 books I think so it was definitely a change.

Only MF I read in the last 3 uears is historical aka regency romance like Georgette Heyer.

It fits - any romance book fits.

But I'm close to done with A Chip and a Chair, I'll post it by the end of the day.

This was an average read. Georgie has been in love with Travis for as long as she can remember. After his baseball career is ended early, he returns home trying to figure out his next move. Georgie befriends him while helping to get him to resume his life, and they enter into a fake relationship to help her get more respect as an adult and for him to shed his playboy reputation. While this is a sweet story and definitely had some of the best dirty talk I've heard in a while, it was otherwise just an ok read.

This was a good, short read. I listened to the audio and while I'm not a huge fan of John Solo, it was still pretty good. The tail sex was fun surprise. I'll definitely read on in the series.

I just finished my 4th SH book.
I'm hoping to get to read 1 tomorrow, cause I don't get a lot of reading time on the weekend

Task 8 - 22. Read 4 books #5 or higher in a series.

But thats okay. I think it would be good to take a breather on SH.
And my Bingo book is only 112 pages, so it will be fast.

I saw an audio book needed to be equal to 150pages, but I don't see anywhere that says the minimum legnth of a book would be?
I didn't want to read a book with only 100 pages if it wasn't going to count.

I'm searching.
My last book was actually book 5 in the series!
So I'm trying to find a book 5 that can also stand alone.
If I can't find anything, I'll do a reread of a favorite series...but I'm on the hunt.

That is good. But if you need to look again the task said #5 or higher in a series.

Enjoyed meeting up with Ronan, Tennyson and all the gang again.
Looking forward to the rest of the series, have fallen quite a bit behind. Men never seem to retire. Apparently my husband is but spends just as much time in the garage with his hobby business as he did at work!! Know exactly how Tennyson feels!!

I love the guys and Tech and Steel are no exception to this rule. The part of the book about God and Day are great. It was nice to see them finally get their HEA with their wedding.
It was good to see that Steel didn´t need the alcohol as a crutch after meeting Shawn. I especially liked about him that he was so supportive of Shawn, allways encouraging him to stand up for his goals and trying to help him. The way new characters were introduced into the story was a thing of beauty. It looked so effortlesly and natual in the way the story moved.
This was a re-read and my review still stand. The MCs are great together and I love the whole team.
