TART Challenge - Round 5 - SHAFT (5)

Sorry I haven't had time to look for a book yet. Hope to get to it today tho."
Great thanks! I'll be starting this one next then!

Completed 4/14/22 5 stars
Did I just reread this 2 months apart from my first read. Yup
And still enjoyed the whole thing.
I wasn't expecting the guilty party the first time around.
Loved the banter.
Stripper ghost cracked me up.
Fun story.
It will probably be a couple years, but I'm sure I'll read this again someday

Whomever finishes the 4th read, please post our completion.
I'm gonna be hit an miss on the computer for a few days. I'll be on, but not as much. I've got a 3 1/2 day weekend, so I'll be running around.
Headed to my Moms for the day, since I got off work early.
And hubby will keep me busy the other 3 days.

Looks fine!
Enjoy your time with your parents, it is always time well spent.

Read a book with a predominately blue or yellow cover.

I’m not a big fan of mystery, but I did enjoy this book. The ending wasn’t too surprising but it still had a bit of a twist. I liked the MCs and while I found their first night together a bit ridiculous with the drinking game, the story overall was fun. it was light and not angsty. I haven’t read any of the other related series and this book did make me want to go pick those up as well.

what? It looks almost completely blue to me.
Tineye says it's all gray. It says there isn't a single part blue.
I must be color blind because all I see is blue.

Ask MountainKat because I think it is blue and tineye is notorious for saying gray.

I love paranormal books and I love mysteries so this book was a no brained for me. I read the blurb and thought this would be awesome and it was. It reminded me a bit of the Patricia Logan series about the medium that is helping his husband solving crimes.

Enjoyed this light-hearted read. I had quite a few lol moments. I will have to read back a bit as I'm curious as to Dustin's earlier impetuous moments.

I liked the book well enough even if the storyline is a bit far fetched. This was a re-read for me.

I loved the Hidden Species series and this book just continued in the same style. Super light and fun and had me cracking up. I loved seeing some of the old characters in this one and was happy to see Percy get his HEA. I will definitely come back and finish with the next two in the series.

A ton of action.
I didn't like the guys being seperated, but the story pace was great.
I loved Wade and his bottomless stomach and sticky fingers.
I always look forward to his scenes.

Task 3 - 12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
You can do the recommendations however you wish - to the group, to each individual, to the person below you on the list or ?? - it's up to you. If you want to provide a specific shelf to pick from, it needs to have a minimum of 10 books on it. Please include a link to the message with the recommendations in your completion posts.

Helke I recommend
Cut & Run and Cowboy Shep
Ashley I recommend
A Friend in the Fire or the book prior if you haven't read it.
Unjustified Claims
F. I recommend All Kinds of Tied Down or The Mastermind
I tried to look at the pages to see if you have read them or not....so if you've already read them, please let me know and I'll pick again.

Oh wow, wish I had thought of that. I don't have a 5 star shelf though.

I just quickly made one, only got to 1000 of my 5500 books though. Still 45 pages of 100 books to go through but a lot of later ones will be hysterical mf romance.

Read both of those this month for SH - decent points.

I have had it for two years now as I needed it at that time for a challenge.

You all have read so much that all of my recommendations for you are ones that you've already read, ha! I'll take a quick look again after I get my kiddo down for a nap and get some posted asap. Except for Helke who I see is reading Cut and Run.

Jagged Edge
Game Changer (this is the first in the series, but Heated Rivalry is where it's at - this whole series is great and I'm patiently awaiting the final book that should be on audio any day now, eek!!!)

Oh yeah...That is one category I can do. As soon as I get home and can log into my spreadsheet.

Thanks, Skye. I really appreciate all the help! I'll read a Friend in the Dark per your rec as I need it for SH cell phone category (I think you passed on it and I'm pretty sure no one else is reading it but I'll double check). But I still need a Skyscraper recommendation. A Friend in the Dark takes place in NY, but I'd love to find a book with high points potential as it's my bonus category.

Ya, I would use that one for phone for sure. Just because they are so hard to find. I don't think it's fantastic on points...but it's decent considering the category.

Yeah, a quick scan shows about 50 points...better than my initial pick which was only 20 something. I'll start it tonight. I'm almost done with my current read so it's good timing and fits for both challenges.

I love Zero at the Bone but why does it seem so much longer, than the book I read for my longest book?
There is no way I'll finish today.

A brilliant follow on from the first book. Loved finding out more about Mack and meeting his family. Love that the guys have teamed up with an interesting trio. Looking forward to reading more ghostly tales.
