No purchases from Android app

But on Android you can't purchase via app anymore.

I read about this on GoodEReader's blog. I always purchase my Audible via my laptop but wonder how those who do not have a computer will be purchasing now? In a world where we are headed more towards apps and getting away from computer functions, this seems rather backwards.

any chance google is doing the same - taking a cut? and/or reducing the coding requirements so not 2 different versions behind the actual platform

I read somewhere that if you open Audible in your browser on your phone you can still purchase audiobooks that way. If you don't want to do it on your laptop.
