Hello, I'm Donovan, and after making edits on my novel, I'm looking to swap my work with someone else for feedback. I would prefer to swap with something similar to mine in genre (fantasy, action, or something close), but am open to try just about anything.
Here is a quick synopsis: Aliyah is this century’s sacrifice; In four years, her life will end. She knows all too well what her role is, so she lives her days at Reimel’s Aetherial Academy just trying to get by and find what enjoyment she can. The Krehn blood that flows through her veins earns her the ire of her classmates, and the different treatment she receives from the meisters only furthers the gap between her and her peers. And thus, she’s left mostly alone. Alone, except for her aer, voices with unique personalities that live inside aether crystals and give her control over the four elements.
One day, Aliyah’s only potential friend, Joshua, challenges her beliefs. But when that challenge leads her to the nearby town, she witnesses a wanted pirate captain robbing a store, and what’s left of her life changes forever.
