[WPF] The Night Fire by Michael Connelly 4.5 stars

Harry Bosch, Renee Ballard and Micky Haller - we get all three characters in this book. Multiple intersecting cases, lots of action and suspense. Everything I love about Michael Connelly's books.

I listened to the audio and the Bosch portions are narrated by Titus Welliver, who portrayed Bosch to a T in the HBO series. So good!

The two Bosch novels I've read have been pretty average. I may have to try this one.

I love Bosch. I'm just finishing up the Special Edition of his first book, The Black Echo. Titus Welliver re-recorded it and they have a great interview between Connelly and Welliver at the end. You can tell they are good friends. It's dated since it was written in the early 90's. I forgot what a chain smoker Harry was. This is also the first appearance of Eleanor Wish.

Oh - I may need to track down that re-recording of The Black Echo with Titus Welliver!

I read a ton of Bosch during the 90s. I used to count on picking up the latest in the series at the airport while traveling for work. Pre-e-reader days.
