There isn't a theory in opposition to Abiogenesis. There are religions.

message 679: by J. (new)

J. Gowin | 7998 comments The way I see it, the Warren Commission scr*wing the pooch, the House Select Commission on Assassination s finding that the Warren Commission had f*cked up, and then Watergate set the stage for a very distrustful American public. Then Geraldo broadcast the Zapruder Film.
https://youtu.be/HBJFT-OyDEc?si=AWbzq...

What followed was thousands of amateurs digging out every possible lead. So, now we have what I think of as a plate of spaghetti covered in marinara. There are a hundred strands crossing, twisting, and looping around each other, often hidden by the sauce. One of them is THE one. But which one?

It is entirely possible that Oswald acted alone. As a shooter, the proposed sequence is very difficult, but not impossible. As a hunter who has recovered multiple bullets from prey, the Magic Bullet does not look like it was fired into a body. It looks like it was fired into a water box. My gut says that the swamp creatures are hiding more than tacit guilt for not stopping Oswald sooner.

message 680: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8079 comments It seems to me that there were a lot of spaghetti noodles - many individuals and organizations who had motives for getting JFK out of the way, some of them within our own government. If the same thing happened today, we still might never find out the truth because the government might not want us to know the truth.

message 681: by Graeme (last edited Nov 27, 2023 11:28PM) (new)

Graeme Rodaughan I'll just lay it out here.

For decades now, I figured the CIA assassinated JFK and others including Martin Luther King.

Who sponsors the policy the CIA were executing throughout that time and since then remains an open question, but I assume those people, and/or their descendents, or chosen successors, are still major power players within this world.

The operation of power attracts the worst people to it and assassination has ever been a go-to weapon in the toolbox of dominion.

Not at all. However, I do watch lots of documentaries. I thought they were tropical. Central and South America in the Tropic zones.

message 698: by J. (new)

J. Gowin | 7998 comments Yeah, I know some hunters who refuse to hunt squirrels until after the first hard freeze because they believe that kills off the infection, or maybe just the infected.
