Sean’s home security was believed to be impenetrable but Jerome Robertson’s hired abductors were able to infiltrate and abduct Sean, Jesse and Maddie. Did you foresee this possibility or did it take you by surprise? How did you think they were able to pull this off?

[Anita]

Brute force will trump a sophisticated system every time. The attack was carried out with the precision of a military operation. I was impressed. Grabbing the pizza kid and drugging the food was a twist I didn't see coming.

[Robin]

It was a smart move by the abductors. I thought the only way they would infiltrate the house was if they caught someone while they were entering the house. I never thought of drugging their food or going through the windows.

[Charlene]

I was surprised, but I suppose military installments ought to have more security features and the personnel training above Sean's rank, even though I wasn't seeing it at all to begin with.

It was never explained how they got Sean’s house plans, which is how they managed to figure out the security. The pizza drugging was smart, one they should have been on guard for. But, I was extremely surprised that they were able to dismantle all of the security. Brennan didn’t do a good job of explaining that.
