Finished: 5/9

Review: I still haven't read all the books in the series & out of order. But slowly I am getting through all of them. We have Toby who is a teacher & ends up at the compound for an interview. Except no one knows about this & who set this up. Needless to say, he is more than shocked to see that there is a complete world that he never knew existed. Brooks is so very patient with Toby & knows that he is his mate. The danger to the children is still real and the compound is attacked and working together they are able to work as a pack & keep them safe. Toby is a great addition to the pack! And I loved see little Gus, he is my favorite!

Enemies to Lovers/Publishing/Book about books/Slow burn romance. There is a lot. Our MC got promotion but need to get hold of there best publishing author who didn't got them book. Nobody know who taht author actually is or look. So it is kind of challenging for her but she end up finding him. She thought its her not him. Romance is slow peace and its good. Enemies to lover trope is kind of scratching on surface only. Its now true true enemies to lovers

Enemies to lovers/Grump-Sunshine/slow burn/single dads. I really like this book. Its about two dads who are oposite off each other. They both sworn off reletioship bc of there children. They don't see eye to eye at the beginning but after some time they finally started to undersand each other and even start to fall for each other.

Review:Overall I enjoyed the book. It seemed pretty different than the other Lucy Lennox books I've read - there were no wacky old ladies. This isn't a books I would have gravitated to on my own, I don't love enemies to lovers nor do I really care for "wall street" type books - like all the books with millionaire or billionaire in the title.

Review: Topher and Simon are very different. Topher is an academic and Simon is a jock waiting to get back on the field. They meet through George, who is Topher’s best friend and Simon’s brother. The friends-to-lovers theme is very strong and happens quickly. I was especially surprised by Simon’s crush on Topher. Although both characters were adorable, I found Topher to be a bit awkward around Simon. I think I liked them better separately rather than together. The friends and secondary characters were quirky and fun. I prefer the Starting From series by this same author.

The harsh reality of the effects of war and violence and how it affects those that partake in it and witness it, is laid bare in this novelette. Unfortunately for many, help and understanding are hard to find.
Liked that the MCs didn't miraculously get better.
Find it hard to understand how a parent can profess to love their child yet not even try to help or try to understand what their child needs and kick them out without any thought of how they are managing.
Thankfully Neil and Jeremy manage to help each other. Loved how Jeremy's parents saw the error of their ways and supported both men.

Review: The book was ok. I was excited for the setting, but it didn't really make the most of the setting - it didn't really transport me there if that makes sense. The MCs were cute together and I like that they were both willing to sacrifice for each other.

Quinn's Hart by Cassandra Gold
Review: This was much lighter than I expected. The entire book is set in Disney World and takes place in about 4 days. Quinn is an engineer and Josh is a pediatrician. They meet in a vacation set up for singles and they hit it off. It takes them a while to get together because Quinn is extremely shy. Once their friendship develops, the romance is quick to follow and I loved seeing them together. I liked seeing Quinn overcome his shyness to get close to Josh.

This is one of the long series that I am doing a lot of books. I stopped because bc last book was starting to feel too much similar to the previous book and I was scared of reading this book. Not only that Dale is one of charter who dint have too much development or knowledge about his character. But I am lucky and I did enjoy this story. Vivian was evil but I wanted to know more about the man she was cheating with and why she betrayed Ethan. James' friends were very cute and I think they have their own books. I also liked the setting at the coffee shop and the overall fluffy vibe of the story.
