With the speed at which you have read for this challenge, I beg to differ. :D
@Em, Team 'Can't Stop Reading' Status: Completed Visalakshi - 2011, 2012, 2013
Pallavi - 2015, 2016, 2017
Bookworm - 2014, 2018, 2019, 2020
3 consecutive years for 3 of us. This is some coincidence. :D
Thanks Leena. :)Looking forward to your team updates.
Because of this challenge all of us have picked some very different books and found new favorites as well. Thanks to Em, for that. :D
hey, I've signed up for the 2022 serial challenge .so, the crux is crazy - you need to read different parts of a series to go all the way to 22
12.3 etc and after 8 or 9 if you don't find series to match you can do a permutation combination to reach that no.
9 can be 3×3 so 2 bks which are 3rd in their respective series or if you are more adventurous then 3+4+2
all the way till 22.
it's in a group called Pick a shelf

This is crazy! Because we can't just directly read 3rd installment, so inherently have to begin that series. Have fun! :D

Thanks for the challenge idea :)
Btw, Network Effect was fun!!!
Continue in the sense?? I just have 1 book pending from my end. Now that team a has completed, I assumed that I could take my time to read at my own pace. : )
I thought once a decade was over we would continue with previous decade? For finishing 1st decade each team gets some points and a little extra for finishing first? I thought that was the game.. and what is the end point?
Em Lost In Books wrote: "@Vikas - you want to do it individually?"I guess i will not be able to participate in this... The challenge is far too gone for me to chase it...
Pallavi wrote: "@Em; please award the points. Challenge has ended. And if all are ready we can start another decade"Oh... Points are already given. Check the first 2 messages of the thread.
Guys shall we start 2001 to 2010 decade ? How many are in?
I'm in. Interested but busy so be warned that I'll not be at my previous challenge reading speed. :)

I can make one but things comes to a halt on participation. :(

you cannot force anyone to participate, and I've been noticing that in every group there are a few diehard competitors and the rest are just a hava ka jkonka :))
Em Lost In Books wrote: "@Pallavi Nathan BW Visalakshi - you want team of twos or try to tackle it individually?"Anything is fine...
then let's do it individually this time. I have been a slump, hoping this would drag me out of it. ;)
Any genre you want to replace? or we can do any ten genres of your choice i.e. each person will pick their own genre...

Anything is fine for me too.@Em, You're in? Then only 5 of us? If anyone else is interested, we can again make teams of 3 each.
Depends on my mood, time, work and life. 🤣How about teams of two?
And remove few genres since we are less in number.
I usually take a month or a little more that a month to finish 10 books.. I find "Book To Movie" genre a bit hard. The number of options is very less in this genre.
I try to read 2 books a month. As Nathan said, depends on work. Sometimes swamped too much that can't pick a book for a week straight! Due to challenge I had powered through weekend and evenings to read the 3 books :D doing the same for 10 books will take a loooot of time for me.
Anither way to do this is to announce the dates beforehand. E.g Read - a- thon will bd held once every quarter and dedicate 10days for it and you decid either individually or in pairs. You can slso pre- determind a theme or location so bks will circulate around that. E.g. rainbow so you choose any bk/ any genre but covers have to form the rainbow. Bonus colours like gold, silver get added points. This way, one can get rid of excess regular work- urgent pressing ones will obviously be impossible to sweep away.

Haha, I actually like this genre as it feels exciting to read the book when I've already seen the movie! I had already picked out a book for the next decade as well when I was choosing for 2011-2020 one!
