Ɯяιттєη Ɗєѕcяιρтιση: Oliver is a handsome boy in a cute, clumsy way. He's extremely tall at 5'11, with size 8 feet. He's gangly, his legs and arms quite long. He has pale white skin, rarely tan, with a couple of birth spots on his face. He has brown hair that is rather flippy and messy, styled just the way her lines it, though when he's sweaty or wet it curls and flattens to his head. He has dark brown eyes, and his face itself is rather handsome, the product of good breeding. He also has the most adorable, crooked smile.
Ɗяєѕѕ SтуƖє: Oliver has a quirky sense of style in the way that, at times, his clothes don't match very much. But he dresses comfortably, the way he wants. Occasionally he'll dress up in what he claims is 'A Monkey Suit', but only when he has to. He likes to walk around in just jeans and a t-shirt at times, and can even be found wandering in his pajamas early in the morning.
"I never have an opinion about clothes and know nothing about fashion."

(view spoiler)
ƤєяѕσηαƖιту: Oliver is a little quirky. He's a clumsy, funny guy, always using humor to fill any awkward moments. He's a cool guy, not using his royalty as a reason to be a pompous ass, but instead not using it at all. He acts free, he acts how he wants. He can be a little rebellious and a little reckless, but he's good at heart. Around girls, he turns into a shy dweeb, stumbling over his words, being clumsy, doing stupid yet cute things. He's honest, and loyal to his family, but he also likes to have fun and just be who he is. What people need to know about Oliver is he's genuine. He's compassionate, caring, big hearted. Like a giant teddy bear. But he's also protective and passionate, and if someone he loves is in danger, he'll walk through hell to save them.
"I'm always a little innately shy when I first talk to a girl, and I think I always will be! But I think that's a good thing. You don't want to lose that."

Lιкєѕ: Parties, Cute Girls, Having Fun, Hanging out with his Family, Eating Good Food.
ƊιѕƖιкєѕ: Mean people, People who hurt those he loves, Being Hungry, Nightmares, the Impending Doom of Becoming King.
Hσввιєѕ αηɗ ǀηтєяєѕтѕ: He has varied interests. He likes the library, mostly because it's quiet, and he goes there often to get away. He likes skipping rocks in the river, and laying in the fields watching the stars. He's skilled at sword fighting but he doesn't consider it a hobby, and he likes riding his horse, Leo. He's also been known to sneak out and go to the city to have some fun.
Sтяєηgтнѕ: His unending loyalty, his sense of good and evil, his love for his family. Physically, he is also strong because he's been trained all his life to be so.
Ɯєαкηєѕѕєѕ: His fears, his clumsiness, his habit of hesitating when making choices.

Hιѕтσяу: What can one say about a royal life? Oliver had it good. He was born to *blank* and *blank*, on one hot summer afternoon. His grandmother on his father's side, Dowager Queen Seraphina Grace Schreave, named him Oliver, after his great grandfather. Though he hates that name because his siblings like to call him 'Oli'. It's actually a perfect name for him, but he despises the nickname for it. He prefers his middle name, Stiles. However, should the right girl come along, he wouldn't entirely hate the name when she said it. He's quite shy around girls, and can come off a little dorky at times, but if he got to know a girl, he'd be better. Maybe even a little charming. Around his siblings, however, he is a total dork. Though when he has to be, he is mature. He'd make a good king some day, but the idea of being king scares him. He doesn't want that, he's never wanted that. He thinks his brothers are more suited to be king. Besides, if he were ever king, that means his dad would have died. The whole idea makes him uncomfortable and unhappy. However, he likes the idea of the selection. Not a crude 'Wow, a bunch of hot chicks to be around' kind of liking it, but a 'What an amazing chance to meet all kinds of beautiful, unique women who I might fall in love with' kind of liking it. He's an open book and he has very genuine feelings towards the selection. He's looking forward to it. He can only hope that the girl he loves will love him back. He is bisexual, but he leans pretty heavily towards girls. Plus, being the crowned prince, he couldn't ask his family to include guys in his selection, because he has to produce an heir.
ƑαмιƖу:
(view spoiler)
Ƒяιєηɗѕ: His family are his friends, he hasn't had much chance to make friends other than that.
Ɛηємιєѕ: Well, his natural enemies are the rebels, of course. And anyone who doesn't have his best interests at heart.

Oтнєя:
Favorite Colors: Green, Orange, and Purple. Bright colors.
Favorite Flower: Daisies. He's a simple man with a simple favorite flower.
Favorite Foods: Any food. Literally, anything, this boy can eat.
Favorite Constellation: Ursa Major, the Great bear.
Birthstone: Sapphire
Birth Sign: Virgo
Birth Element: Earth
Fears: Despite being a full grown boy, he has a petrifying fear of spiders. He also fears those he loves dying. And he has an inane fear of mazes, which is why he doesn't enjoy going into the garden maze. He also has a fear of becoming king, accepting his future.
Flaws: He uses his humor as a defense, something he got from his grandmother, who also uses her snarky wit as a defense. He doesn't deal with things he doesn't like. He often fears his own destiny and tries to avoid it, even though he would step up if he needed to.
Theme Song: Something I Need by OneRepublic or Crush by David Archuleta.

"I'm not a romantic, but even I concede that the heart does not exist solely for the purpose of pumping blood."

Basic Details
Ƒιяѕт Ɲαмє: Seraphina
MιɗɗƖє Ɲαмє: Grace
Lαѕт Ɲαмє: Schreave
Ɲιcкηαмєs: In her own words, "A lady does not go by any name other than her own, written upon her birth certificate. To be called anything else would be distasteful." Though even so, many simply call her 'Lady Schreave', 'Lady Dowager', 'Mother of the King', or 'Grandmother Schreave'.
Agє: She's 75. She had her children later than most royals, her son when she was 32, her daughter when she was 37. Her reason for this is in her history.
Ɗαтє σf Ɓιятн: November 7th.
ƤƖαcє σf Ɓιятн: Angeles, in the royal palace.

SєxυαƖ Oяιєηтαтιση: Heterosexual, though she doesn't have much sex these days. Still, she can appreciate a handsome man.
Ƈяυѕн: The Dowager Queen doesn't believe in crushes, and she certainly doesn't have one.
RєƖαтισηѕнιρ Sтαтυѕ: Widowed.

Ƈαѕтє: One.
ƝαтισηαƖιту: Caucasian, Illean.
Occυραтιση: She's the Dowager Queen, the only one with more say than the King himself. The position is an honor, and until she dies, she'll remain in that position.
Face Claim: Maggie Smith
Aρρєαяαηce:

(view spoiler)
Ɯяιттєη Ɗєѕcяιρтιση: A once beautiful queen is now subjected to the curse of time. Wrinkles on her skin, frayed gray hair, lines where her smiles and frowns have been, a sagging body trying to reach the earth where it will be laid to rest. She used to be the most beautiful woman in all of Illea, however. Young, flawlessly smooth skin, long deep auburn red hair. She has pale blue eyes, once brightly contrasting with her red hair but now dull against the background of her now-gray hair. She's 5'5, and in her time had b-cup breasts but the sagging makes them a c-cup now. In her old age, Seraphina is only a fraction of the beauty she used to be, but pictures show the truth behind her aging face. She's still formidably good looking, even at her age.
Ɗяєѕѕ SтуƖє: Coming from a time that believed women were to dress formally and modestly at all times, she does just that. Wearing formal ball gowns, often darkly colored with lots of lace, heels, the whole deal. Her hair is mostly up, the delicate gray strands painstakingly styled. She's never seen with sleeves that are shorter than her wrist or a skirt that doesn't reach the floor. Often she wears expensive, exquisite jewelry, such as pearls.
ƤєяѕσηαƖιту: Lady Seraphina is a strong, independent elderly queen and she don't NEED no king. (sorry, couldn't resist). She's always been very much on her own, not accepting anyone's help, taking her own life in her hands. Perhaps she got this fire from her great grandmother America, or her grandmother Eadlyn. In her younger years, Seraphina was a little bit of a wild child. Beautiful, calm, and kind, but with no love for rules. She'd run off and hide out somewhere the guards couldn't find her, basking in the beauty of her kingdom and abandoning her duties. Even so, she's responsible, dedicated, and hard working. However, to those who know her, she's a fire cracker. Fierce, burning with passion, a commanding soul that burns brighter than normal people. Even if she doesn't have the energy these days, she's still formidable. Witty, sarcastic, and sharp tongued, she'll say exactly what she thinks with no mind for the consequences. She's the most powerful woman in Illea, and she'll do whatever she pleases! She's fair, she treats everyone the same, even her own family, and she's stubborn. However, she's a little stuck in her ways, following many of the older, more traditional ways of living. Though, in her time, she certainly was anything but traditional or old fashioned. Looking back on her younger years, she often says that she had hoped to be wise, but thinks she rather was naïve and foolish at times.

(view spoiler)

Lιкєѕ: If you asked, she'd tell you that what she liked from when she was younger and what she likes now are two different discussions, but that isn't the truth. Deep down, she hasn't changed from the young woman she used to be, so here is what she likes. She likes water falls, music with a rhythm, sunrises, tall towers, gardens, dashing men, hot tea, stunning dresses, large events, dancing, smiling, fairy tales, stories about adventure and forbidden romance. She also likes being witty and burning others with her sharp words, watching their expressions as they are shocked that the 'Dowager Queen' would say such things. She likes life, with all its pleasures. Though, now if you asked her what she liked, she'd give you a reproachful look and come up with some witty comment.
ƊιѕƖιкєѕ: There are many things the Dowager Queen dislikes, and if you want to be on her good side, you'll know all of them by heart. She dislikes fools, people who challenge her (though she likes them, too, it depends on the situation), bad wine, bad food, rebels, wars, her children/grandchildren getting harmed, floozies, Selected girls with no backbone, Selected girls who don't know their place, Selected girls who automatically have the audacity to assume they're good enough to be queen, her son's mistress, her son's bastard son, Advisors, Diplomats, Small Talk, Hot Days, Cold Days, Cold Food, Food that is too Hot, Superstition, the list goes on and on.
Hσввιєѕ αηɗ ǀηтєяєѕтѕ: She enjoys horse riding, though in her old age she rides side saddle, she used to enter races with her beautiful horse, (view spoiler) , Diamond, and the horses that came before her. She used to enjoy climbing the towers to the roof of the palace, sneaking off to visit the city, and sword fighting with her siblings. In her day, she was a brilliant fencer, her thin body both graceful and quick footed, perfect for the sport. Now, these days, she mainly drinks tea, spends time with the royal family, advisors, and heads of staff, and watches the races and sword fights of her grandchildren. She also enjoys attending events.
Sтяєηgтнѕ: Being Queen, Ordering Others Around, Her Kingdom, Her Family, Her People. She's also extremely intelligent and quick thinking, and calm when things go to chaos.
Ɯєαкηєѕѕєѕ: Her Family, Her Kingdom, Her People, being too Stubborn, being too Prideful.
Hιѕтσяу: Her Parents' Selection: Let's back up to her parents. Her father, Rhydian Ahren Schreave, was the son of Eadlyn Schreave. For a Schreave, Rhydian was... different. He was a solemn boy when he was younger, quiet, with a dark outlook on life. He was the brooding one, the one to hide away from his family and read poetry. He was known as Illea's dark prince, with his dark brown hair, pale skin, and dark eyes. But he was a romantic, and when he met his bride, everything changed. He selected her, Meridia Stark. She was a graceful beauty, young, intelligent, thoughtful, considerate. She wasn't dark but she wasn't bright either. She was perfect to him. Many whispered how much she resembled a young America, with her oval face, long red hair, and blue/green eyes, though she had none of America's fire. She was the opposite, like calm water in a pond. She didn't have a reason to want the crown. She wasn't poor, she wasn't loveless, she was just a girl who had been selected, a girl loyal to the crown with no reason to decline. She didn't intend to be Selected, but she had been. When it came to the last three girls, it was tough, they were all best friends. Meri, Alice, and Nerissa. Alice was a dark haired girl, very quiet and shy, but sweet and innocent. Nerissa was blonde and perky and bright, very chatty, not really Rhydian's type but somehow they clicked enough for her to make it to the elite. But Rhydian knew who he would pick. He knew from the beginning. Him and Meridia had this chemistry, this unspoken understanding of each other that seemed to only happen in poetry and fairy tales. The wedding was traditional, in the Royal Throne Room, being wedded and crowned at the same time, as his father was stepping down from the position of king. Meridia was only 19 at the time, and Rhydian was 21. They were blissfully in love, their life together like a deep, love story. She became pregnant at 21, when Rhydian was 24. Their family had begun, and it was perfect... for a while.
Early Life: Meri and Rhydian were hoping for a boy, as Meridia said if she could have a child with Rhydian's dashing looks, her life would be complete. However, their first born was a girl. She was born in December, with her mother's blue eyes and her father's dark hair, very beautiful. They named her Cordelia Esther Schreave, Corlia for short. The family was three was royal, but they were happy. Sure, not having a son was disappointing, but Cordelia was so charming, even as a baby. They loved her immediately, and their disappointment faded. Cordelia was the star of the kingdom, and from a young age had been exposed to the media and tv, as well as many photo shoots. Four years past, prosperous years in which there was very little rebel activity, and then Seraphina Grace was born.

Hιѕтσяу: First Part of History is in the First Part
Early life, continued Four years past, prosperous years in which there was very little rebel activity, and then Seraphina Grace was born. She was the middle child, though at the time the youngest, and automatically a disappointment, even more so than her older sister had been. They had hoped for a boy and gotten yet another girl. However, the family had a history of strong women, and Seraphina was no different. She was born on the first snow day of Winter, in the royal palace, in Angeles, Illea. She had the same blue eyes as her sister, but she had red hair like her mother, though not as deep, lighter, a ginger color. She wasn't quite in the lime light as much as her big sister, mostly because flashing cameras and big crowds made her cry. With a four year gap, her and Corlia weren't very close. Specifically because, as they got older, Corlia proved to have a very royal personality. Very demanding, very snobby, very set on status and wealth. Corlia loved the lime might, the attention. She had down to earth moments, but she was much more out there than Sera was. When Seraphina was five, her youngest sister, Aurora Raven was born. Aurora had their father's dark eyes and the same ginger hair as Seraphina. Meridia's birth with Aurora was a hard one, and she almost died. It was a frightening time, but Aurora was born happy and healthy. Once Meridia recovered, however, it was discovered they could not have any more kids, throwing all hopes of having a son out the window. Everything was good again. Cordelia proved to be the most charming, queen-like of all the girls. Seraphina was the distant one, the one that least acted like a princess, the odd one out of the three. Aurora, once she was old enough to have a personality, was very bubbly and kind, extremely girly and princess-like... until the Death Years. The years that everything fell apart.
Death Years: The rebels had been unusually quiet, and when Seraphina was 10, they found out why. There was a huge siege on the castle by the Southern Rebels, a full on war. It was the biggest attack in since the time of Maxon and America. The palace guards were over run, it was the middle of the night, no warning. History calls it the 'Battle of Royal Blood'. The royals barely had time to get to the safe room, and had there been many guests in the palace, they would all have been cut down. Seraphina and her family had just reached the safe room entrance when the rebels rounded the corner. Corlia and Aurora had already gotten into the save room, and Rhydian was helping Seraphina go in when a rebel grabbed Meridia by her long, red hair. It was so sudden, a scream alerting the father and daughter. They turned just in time to see their mother facing them, eyes wide, fear in her expression, as a rebel slid his blade against her neck. The red blood that poured out was as red as her hair. It was the most horrific thing Seraphina had ever witnessed, but now she claims not to remember it much. She just remembers the screaming, and when it went silent... and the color of the red blood on her mother's night gown. The rebel who did it was killed by Rhydian, and in despair he held his wife's bloody body. The guards eventually pushed the rebels back until they retreated, but the damage had been done. Everything changed for the princesses. Their father had cut off all ties, with everything. He'd just retreated into his room, and when you'd walk by you'd hear his sobbing, and the chant of him saying his wife's name, as if it'd bring her back. The funeral was a torrid affair. The king didn't even show up. The Royal Advisors brought the princesses through the crowd of foreign royalty and diplomats. They had an open casket, able to fix her neck for the funeral. But when Seraphina saw her mother's beautiful face, she just remembered the screaming, horrific expression she'd had when she'd died. Even so, they'd laid her out to look like she was sleeping, her red hair as bright in death as it had been in life. They laid red roses on her body, and said their goodbyes. The next two years were... blank. Their father barely looked at them any more, even when he wasn't in his bedroom. Their eyes, their hair, their faces, they all were too much like his wife. He couldn't even look in the mirror any more, because he'd imagine his wife beside him. Their fairy tale romance had been struck short, like a tragic poem that he used to love to read. The country was uneasy, feeling that their leader was too broken to lead them any more. Even the princesses were having a hard time. Everyone suspected that the king was so deep in depression that he was at risk, and they were right. Two years after their mother's death, the girls had decided to surprise their father on his birthday by making him breakfast in bed, with help from the chefs. So they went to his bedroom, trays in hand. But when they opened the door, they discovered him hanged from his bed bannister, his dark eyes sightless, the dark bruises on his pale neck. More screams collected in Seraphina's ears, while she was silent in horror, and the tray falling out of her hands, broken china shattering at their feet. But the deaths didn't end there. With their father dead, things shattered. There were rebel attacks and riots in Illea. The funeral was... cold. Seraphina hated funerals. She hated how people would say, "I'm so sorry for your loss". It sounded so fake, she never believed them. She hated the way people looked at them, like they were poor little orphans. Advisors took part in raising the princesses, for a little over a year. Everything was quiet after their father died. Even Cordelia was different, more somber, somehow. The next year, Corlia turned seventeen, and the advisors decided to crown her Queen, even though her selection was years off. But before that happened, there was another death, and perhaps the most startling of all. Little Aurora, falling off the tallest tower of the palace and splattering on the ground. They claimed it was an accident, that she must have been playing too close to the edge. But Seraphina knew better. You had to be in a very specific spot to be able to fall, and even so, it was something Aurora had said to her that made her think it wasn't an accident. That morning, Aurora had said, "Do you think I could fly to heaven, so I could be with Mommy and Daddy?" She was only eight, so innocent, so young. It had startled Seraphina so badly she had grabbed her and shaken her, telling her never to say anything like that again... and she didn't bother explaining why. When Aurora died, Seraphina blamed herself. She thought, if only she'd taken the time to talk to her. If only she'd said something about it. The funeral for Aurora was sad... such a little coffin, so many flowers... Had she been alive, she might have liked the beautiful ordeal, not understanding the tragedy behind it. So many deaths, in such a short time. Thankfully, this was the end of the death years... but it was not the last death Seraphina would live through.
Older Sister's Rule and Death: Now it was just Seraphina and Cordelia. They were the last Schreaves, both of them girls, both of them too young for a selection. Rebels were thriving in Illea, riots common. People whispered about how the Schreave family line was coming to an end, how a new royal family will take their place once the two princesses were dead. It was a scary, grim time for Sera and Corlia. But both of them were strong. Corlia, at only age 17, was crowned Queen. She had no husband, but she made a strong Queen. She'd been groomed for it her whole life, she was ready. The population of Illea that was still loyal to the Schreave family were overjoyed, until Cordelia made a grave choice. Until then, the no-caste system that America and Maxon had created had thrived, even though there were still rebels that wouldn't stop until the Schreave family were gone. Cordelia thought that the caste system should have stayed, to keep the lower people in their place. So she reinstated it, a horrible move on her part. Many resisted. It was a time of strife, and war. Those who fought became eights, and those who didn't suddenly struggled, not knowing how to survive in a caste system, particularly the lower castes. When she turned twenty one, she had her selection. Sera found the entire thing to be a dreary affair, but she was at her sister's side through it all. Many guys wanted the love of the beautiful Queen, not just a princess anymore. However, some had different agendas. There were a couple attempts on Cordelia's life, none than succeeded. In her Selection, she banned any Caste below a four, so her Selected were all wealthy and of good breeding. A typical thing for her to do. She fell in love with a Two, a male model named Adrian Ivashkov. He was extremely good looking and wealthy, but his personality was opposite hers. He was kind, and quiet. Seraphina and him became very good friends. When they married, Cordelia took his name. The Schreave name really seemed to be going to end. However, things proved different. Cordelia turned out unable to have kids. She tried, and tried. There were days neither queen nor king left the bed room. But she couldn't get pregnant. The entire country weeped for her troubles. In all the despair that had happened, a new baby in the royal family would have been a source of great joy. Finally, after much discussion, Seraphina offered to be a surrogate. In those times, you couldn't do so medically. She would have to sleep with Adrian until she got pregnant. A mistress, of sorts. And she did. She and Adrian grew closer, eventually having more love making done than Adrian and Cordelia did. But Seraphina proved to have trouble as well. After a year, however, disaster struck. Cordelia fell ill with Pneumonia. It was very sudden, and it burned through her like a wild fire. Within two days, she had passed away. Another royal death, and everything now rest on Seraphina. Cordelia had a grand funeral, one she would have liked. Adrian didn't seem quite as upset as he should have been, perhaps because for some time he'd been more in love with Seraphina than he had Cordelia. They made a cute couple, and they fit together better than Cordelia and Adrian had. It wasn't a surprise that a month after Cordelia's death, Adrian proposed to Seraphina. It was the perfect opportunity. She'd be queen, he'd still be king, they could continue trying... but she wasn't that type of girl. So she said no. Because he was not a Schreave, he was stripped of his title as King. Within a few months, Seraphina took his place, being crowned Queen at the age of 24. She hadn't married yet, having put it off with the belief that she would never have the throne and therefore didn't need an Heir. Adrian, on the other hand, left the palace. He was still a wealthy model, and he thrived. He remarried, actually marrying a Russian Queen and taking the name Romanov, and he had children in that marriage. When he was 60, he died of lung cancer. Ironic, as when he used to smoke, Cordelia would be mad at him for doing to, saying he was bringing death to his door. To the day of his death, Seraphina exchanged letters with him, and they remained close. He was even invited to many events at the palace over the years, including her wedding. Some suspected he still loved her, despite it all. She just didn't love him back, not enough. Or so she claimed. In truth, she was in love with him, she just... Needed to put her country first. She needed to restore order, and marrying him after her sisters death... The timing was wrong, and she couldn't, no matter how much she loved him. However, she did find love with her own Selection.

History Continued:
Her Selection: Seraphina had put off marriage. She didn't see much merit in it. However, as a Queen, she had to produce an heir. Despite Adrian's offer that would have simplified everything, she didn't want to settle for her sister's scraps. She had to choose her country first, and choose a new husband. She needed to be strong, and that didn't include him, though she played it off like she didn't love him. Perhaps that said something about her, how she could sleep with him for over a year and still not love him enough to marry him. Perhaps it was because she didn't want to sully her sister's memory. Perhaps she knew someone better was out there, waiting for her. It wasn't like she didn't love him at all, she just believe there was a different path for her to take that didn't involve him. Two years after her Coronation, at the age of 26, she had her own selection, though it was much different than Cordelia's had been. For the first time ever, she accepted Sevens. She felt that just because they were manual workers, didn't mean they shouldn't be included. And she was Queen, it's not like anyone could disagree with her. If being a six with a poor education was enough to be accepted into the Selection, than being a seven with poor living standards should be enough too. However, in the end it didn't matter, because she didn't pick a seven. Who she did pick was a three, a writer by the name of Arthur Oliver Lambert. Most of her Selected were so boring, or only after the crown. Seraphina needed someone interesting, and 'Artie' as she called him, was just that. Much of her life, she'd spent dreaming of far off places and adventures, and much of his life he'd spent writing about them. He was intelligent, and almost as witty as she was. He'd take her for walks in the garden, talking away about his writing or his latest ideas, and she was fascinated with just listening to him. He talked with such an animation, such enthusiasm. There was something about him. He looked quite like Adrian, but less handsome, more rounded, lighter brown hair, brown eyes. He was a short man, too, only 5'6, an inch taller than Seraphina. Even so, she fell for him. Suddenly she understood what passion her parents felt for each other, and she knew what all the poems and stories meant. When it came down to the elite, she had a few others she liked quite a big, one being a handsome Seven that was quite funny, even though he didn't have much of a brain. Even so, it was no question she'd choose Artie. Their marriage was a quiet, intimate affair, as neither had much family left and she didn't want a bunch of strangers at their wedding. At their wedding, they danced to 'Turning Page' by Sleeping at Last. It was their song, and it was perfect. She kept her name, and he took her name, rather than the other way around. Seraphina was a very unconventional Queen. She'd already lost her virginity, to her sister's husband, and she was older than most royals who had Selections. But Arthur didn't care for any of that. However, after they married, they did have their fair share of problems. Seraphina discovered that Artie's intelligence meant that he was also very war-oriented. He was a great king, fascinated with it. Often his writing took to the side as he focused on meetings and war strategies, things that Seraphina had never had much interest in. But she was willing to over look it. A couple years of wedded bliss passed, until at age 33, she had her first child. The country had all but given up hope, and she finally had her heir.

"I wasn't the best mother, I'm afraid. But no one can say that I didn't provide for my children."
Being a Mother: Her first born was named Aric, a beautiful baby boy. With her wit, Seraphina knows she was not always the perfect mother. She expected things of Aric. She expected him to keep his head up, to be a Schreave, to be more successful than her own family had been in the past. He was her chance at renewal. She had him dote on her, she had him follow her orders, and she had him under her thumb. It was a time in which kids were controlled by their parents, and she was no different. Arthur, on the other hand, proved to be a hard father. He was very much like a general, despite all his knowledge. He was always bringing Aric into his war meetings, teaching him strategy. He was a highly intelligent man, and sometimes that made others not understand him. He had a temper at times, getting frustrated when his son didn't understand things and he had to explain them. But even so, he loved his son, as did Seraphina. Sera always made sure Aric didn't get behind in his studies, and part of her worried that he was missing out on his childhood, being groomed to be a future king. But she had missed out on hers, too, with so much death having happened in her life. So she knew that if she had grown to be a fine queen, he would grow to be a fine king. She was a stern, strong willed mother, but she could only hope he could learn from that. Five years after having her son, she had another child. **, a daughter. She hadn't thought she would be able to have any more kids, but she did. *to be continued once daughter is claimed*
Son's Selection and Marriage: Having gone through her own Selection, Seraphina knew just how hard it was. So she was constantly at her son's side, helping him keep track of who was who. So many women, it was difficult. She had hoped to like who her son chose, but she certainly didn't. Rosabella, a girl who had made an impression on her son by getting drunk and having him escort her back to her room. In Seraphina's opinion it was disgraceful and she didn't like it one bit. However, it was her son's choice, not hers. She tried to steer him towards other women, but ever since that night, he was stuck on Rosabella. She acted like she was okay with it, though Rosabella had made a terribly impression on the Dowager Queen, and she certainly wouldn't change her opinion. And with time, she did learn to love Rosabella, though she would never admit that. At least she could die knowing her family line would live on through her son, right?
Husband's Death: It was sudden, four years after their son got married. Arthur had been working a lot, teaching their son how to be king. It hadn't been the first time Seraphina had told Arthur to slow down, but he refused. They'd been talking one day, during a break, and he was telling her all about his schedule, when suddenly his voice cut off short. She had looked up at him to see his face blank, eyes wide, and just like that he fell out of his chair onto the ground. She'd thought he'd had a heart attack, but later it'd been proven to be a stroke. He'd died instantly. Seraphina had been holding his hand when he took his last breath. It had been a heartbreaking moment, but surprisingly she didn't act heartbroken. She was... blank. She'd been through so much death, her heart kind of hardened. So around others she was okay... but if you'd walked into her bedroom around midnight, you'd find her on the floor in a very un-queenly matter, crying and hugging a bottle of scotch, wearing his jacket.
Grandchildren: Seraphina was overjoyed to have grandchildren. She still was herself, but she was relieved that the Schreave name would live on. Her relationships with her grandchildren vary, but she was a very big part of their childhood. She helped name the first prince, naming him Oliver after his grandfather. (check out her family in part four to see her relationship with them). However, she's rather close to Xander, the second prince. He's so much like his grandfather, and because of that Seraphina has always given him special attention. As for her other grandchildren, she gets along with each of them rather well, as well as she can. This is Seraphina Grace Schreave, after all, and she isn't one for being all warm and fuzzy, rather showing her emotions through her wit and snarky commentary. Then there's the case of her son's bastard son. Seraphina didn't even like her son's chosen wife, but she certainly hated the mistress. She would be pleasant to both women, but she could be sharp tongued to them. She disliked the mistress, despite being a mistress herself when she was younger, because it was the second time her son had been involved in a drunken situation. Sure, the first time he hadn't been the drunk one, but this time was just foolish and irresponsible. Certainly not the acts of a king, and not the way she raised him. Seraphina doesn't consider the bastard her grandson, and when she has to interact to him she treats him as a servant rather than a member of the royal family. In her day, bastards were killed, so not to challenge the rightful heirs for the throne. It was a relief that her parents had been so in love, and even when she was a mistress, it was purely for giving her sister an heir and they weren't sneaking around about it... even if Adrian ended up falling in love with her. So to her, she has six grandchildren, not seven, and that is bound to cause tension but there are not many people willing to speak up against the Dowager Queen.
Grandson's Selection: Now that her eldest grandson is of age, it's time for his selection. She isn't the closest to her eldest grandson, but he is humorous and keeps up with her wit, which is always fun. Though she helped Aric through his selection, it isn't her place to help Oliver. That's up to his parents and siblings. So she's more like a bystander, getting to know his candidates for future wives. It is true, however, that she will have some say in his choices, even though the final choice is all his. And she isn't easily impressed...

Family: (view spoiler)
Ƒяιєηɗѕ: Everyone wants to be her friend, they suck up to her. The only people she considers 'friends' are the heads of staff, the royal advisors, and her family. But even then, she's not really one to have friends.
Ɛηємιєѕ: The Dowager Queen's enemy is everyone's enemy. The rebels. There's many who dislike the Dowager Queen, but they are beneath her and she doesn't consider them threats enough to be enemies.
Oтнєя:

Favorite Colors: Dark blues, dark Greens, Black, Gray.
Favorite Flower: She's rather fond of Carnations. Particularly white ones with violet tips.
Favorite Foods: A good glass of red wine and some caviar.
Favorite Constellation: Well, her own of course, Scorpio.
Birthstone: Topaz
Birth Sign: Scorpio
Birth Element: Water
Fears: Seraphina doesn't see much sense in fear. She's old, she's lived her life. The only thing left to fear is death, the destruction of her country, and the end of her family tree.
Flaws: A Queen never admits her flaws. Though many would say she is a little too proud, a little too sharp around the edges. She's in a powerful position, she won't let anyone push her around, and sometimes that can make her come off in a bad way to others.
Special Facts: She speaks French and English.
Theme Song: Guillotine by Yadi

Rosabella naturally has more olive-toned skin, because of her Latina ancestry. She's a petite built woman, with narrow shoulders and a small frame. She's lean, but definitely healthy, and the signs of her age are just started to prick her face around her eyes and mouth; which she always covers up with makeup.
Rosabella's eyes have always been her most defining feature. She has brown doe eyes that are practically half the size of her face, and long, dark lashes to go with them. Her lips are plump, and shaped in a pretty little pink bow.
Rosabella has long hair that drapes down her back and shoulders. It's a chocolatey brown color, with peeks of caramel tones when she's seen in the sunlight. Rosabella has always kept her hair natural, she doesn't like the idea of chemicals on her head.

sᴛᴀɢᴇ Ⅰ – ʏᴏᴜᴛʜ
Columbia, the province at the southernmost part of Illea, was home to Esmerelda and Richard Parrish. They were in the sixth caste, with Richard working as a driver and Esmerelda as a maid in the home of a Two, a very rich couple that owned and ran a gold reserve in Columbia. Almost everyone had some of the old Colombian heritage in them, and Esmerelda was no exception. Her whole family was Latina, tracing back to before Columbia was even a part of Illea. Richard wasn't of Latin descent, though, he was from Dakota, and had moved to Columbia with his parents when he was old enough to start work. He was a lucky young man, though, he had the skill of driving on his resume, so he landed a job quickly as a chauffeur to a wealthy Two. He met a girl there, Esmerelda, who was a maid. She was pretty back then, only about 18, and they eventually fell in love, got married, and got themselves a small house, very small, on the side of the great estate where the family they worked for lived. They started their family early, and Esmerelda gave birth to only one child. She was planning on her family being finished at that point, she didn't think she would have any other children. She only had one little girl, which was disappointing, since she wanted more. But they had practically no money whatsoever, all they could do was pay for their home, and barely enough food for the three of them. The sixes barely got paid, but they got something, and working for a rich family, the Parrish's were lucky. The cook in the kitchen would help out the families if they were going through hard times, and she often helped the Parrish family. Rosa was born four years after her sister, very much a surprise baby. Her mother didn't realize she was pregnant until three months in, and while she was overjoyed, Rosabella definitely brought with her a whole bundle of stresses, mainly financial ones. They made enough to support three, not four, and that was off both of there incomes. Their first daughter was in school, and Esmerelda couldn't take off time form work to raise Rosabella. She needed to work, for Rosa and her family, so she left her baby with her mother, Rosa's grandmother, her grandmother took care of her well in her little old house, and raised her to believe that she was strong, that she could do anything she wanted. Because she'd made the mistake of teaching her own children that life was cruel, she wanted Rosabella to be full of hope, a dreamer. And that's what she got. Rosa was a lover of fairytales and princesses from the start. She believed in magic and used to walk up to random people in the square, just to tell them that they had pretty hair or a nice smile. Of course her grandmother taught her not to do that as well, since it was too dangerous to stop random people where they lived. Rosabella loved her grandmother, but the best part of her day was when she got to go back home every night, and when her papa would come through the door. He would lift her up in his big arms and hug her tightly, spin her through the air, and ask how his little Rose Bud was doing that day. Rosa would launch into a whole conversation about everything she'd done that day, including every crucial detail, which meant every painstakingly boring detail that no one wanted to hear. She would mention that grandpas hair looked silly, or that a dog had been eating from someone's garden. But no one stopped her, because she was their joy. Her father loved her especially, and she was obviously his favorite of the two girls. Her older sister was much smarter than Rosa when it came to school, so Rosa looked up to her very much. Rosa had many friends at school, and she liked learning new things, but she didn't have a very good memory for them. She was always too distracted by other things, and what she wanted to do once she got home. Like any little girl, she was much more interested in the dresses of the Twos they would see in the shops sometimes, or the royal family when they appeared on the television of their neighbors home down the street. She had a pleasant life, and her father always told her that she was perfect, that his Rosa could do whatever she wanted someday, because she had the grace in her heart to do so. That is, until when was 14 years old, when her father didn't come home. He'd gotten in an automobile accident with his boss in the car, and someone else had run into them, whom they found later was a drunk driver. Rosa was devastated, and cried for days. Her father was her light, he cared so much for her, and he was just gone, buried in a shallow grave at the cemetery by a thoughtful eight, since otherwise, he would've just been cremated. Rosa wasn't quite sure how to live her life after his death, but her mother helped her along, some would say. She declared that 14 year old rosa would have to quit school, as would her older sister, since the family was n desperate need of more funds. They were only one income, to support three women, and it wasn't enough. With a heavy heart, Rosa went out applying to place after place, eventually only getting a job at an office buildings as a secretary. She hated it, all the "Please Hold" and calling people sir and MAAM, she would rather be back at school, learning something that would actually benefit her life. But that wasn't going to happen.
The only thing Rosa found besides her job was The Selection. Every girl in Columbia was excited for it, and Rosa was no exception. She was only 15, but would be of age right after the start of the Selection, so she was allowed to apply. She smiled so wide on her picture card that her sister laughed aloud, saying that no one would chose her for her scary smile. Rosa just laughed with her and hoped, prayed even, every night. She wanted so badly to go to the palace and meet the prince, to find a happily ever after with him as all the other queens had done. So when her face was emblazed, smiling and giddy, on the television in their neighbors home, declaring that she would be one of the thirty five girls, Rosa was overjoyed. She packed up all her things the same night, and the process of signing paperwork was so boring, she would've just agreed to all of it verbally, so she could run off sooner. Of course she would miss her sister and mother, but really, there was a prince to be loved!! By her!!! The Selection promised good friends and a new life, so naturally Rosabella was excited. But the friends weren't as good as she'd assumed, no. They were nice on the surface, but often would backstab each other to win the princes affections, which was something Rosabella despised. The only times she really enjoyed were with her maids in her room. They were sixes, like she had been for so long, and she loved to chat and tease them. It was all great fun with her maids; dress fittings and such. One night, the royal family threw her a birthday party to celebrate her turning 16, and Rosa was so excited. She was the youngest girl, though, and another girl tried to sabotage her in front of everyone by feeding her highly alcoholic drinks without Rosa's knowledge. She was completely sloshed two hours in, and went up to Aric, the prince, and flung herself at him, asking to dance and giggling all over him. She was a mess. But Aric didn't seem to mind, and he danced with her, trying to keep the poor thing on her feet. The two fell in love so fast, Rosa didn't even know how it had happened. They went on numerous dates, and he became the one she looked forward to seeing, even before her maids. She loved him, and was afraid to admit it, since he had 34 other girls telling him the same. But as the numbers dwindled down, Rosa and Aric confessed their love for each other, and by the end of the Selection, were dead set on spending their lives together. Rosa was in a shock, of course, that she'd been good enough for royalty, but she was so happy, because this was the love of her life, this is what her father had always said could happen.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

sᴛᴀɢᴇ ⅠⅠ – ᴍᴀᴛᴜʀᴇᴅ
Getting married as a royal was an astounding process, and Rosa was often times overwhelmed, letting her intimidating mother in law handle everything. She just stood by and watched as more and more tule was attached to her gown, her flowers picked for her: the only thing she demanded was White Roses, since they were her fathers favorite when he was alive. Her wedding was essentially a televised event, decided on by her mother in law. But rosa didn't care, because she was getting Aric that day. They kissed at the alter and she felt like latching onto him forever. Their honeymoon was a fantastic time, a month in the tropics with a large bed and an even larger ocean outside. The two really appreciated each other, and their puppy love turned into something much more as they got to spend every night together. Rosa had never felt so loved in her life, and swore that she would always be good to Aric, no matter what. Once they got home from their vacation, though, things became much harder. Aric was training to be the king, and Rosa the Queen. Seraphina, Arics mother, often had her stuck in lessons all day, since she's quit school so young, she had much to do. And she liked the learning, but yearned to see her husband. Why couldn't they study in the same room? She'd asked Seraphina, but the woman just laughed and told her she'd have to get used to not seeing her husband. Rosa didn't like the sound of that though, and whenever she had an available moment, she would dash across the castle to see Aric. If he was in a meeting, she'd send him a note by a guard. And if he was just studying, then she'd bring him some sweets from the kitchen to cheer his day or night. Aric didn't always make it to bed when she did, so Rosa often fell asleep without her husband by her side, and woke up to him leaving their bed early, to go accomplish some task with his father. Rosa tired not to mind, he was the prince after all, he needed to be a good king. And he would, since he was fair and just and kind hearted. Rosa gave birth to a child just months after her honeymoon, and named him Oliver, her fathers middle name. He was a beautiful baby, always plump and grinning. He took up all of Rosa's time, since she didn't want him to be raised by nannies. She took care of him, even when she was in lessons she would bring Oliver along with her. He was her pride and joy, Aric's, too. He would come to see his wife and child all throughout the day, give them kisses on the head and praise Rosa for taking such responsibility for their son, but Rosa wouldn't have it any other way. She was even pregnant again some while later, and hoped for a girl this time, just to even out her score. But her happiness was stopped up when the king died. He'd had a heart attack, it was believed, and died in his sleep. Rosa was awfully depressed: the man hadn't been her favorite, but he was her father in law, Oliver's grandfather, whom he would never realtk get to know. It all made her very sad, but she couldn't cry on Aric's shoulder. She tried to be strong for him, even when he became a temporary alcoholic. He was always drunk, sloshed, telling Rosa that he was never to be as good of a king. Rosa disagreed, but Aric wouldn't even listen. Rosa spent many nights in the nursery during these times, since she was shocked by how quickly a parent could leave their child's world. Little did she know that one of those nights, Aric was so drunk that he took another woman to his bed. Rosa was completely unaware of this, until of course the woman revealed that she was pregnant, and Aric took her into the castle. He had to tell Rosa, and the knowledge crushed her. While she'd been spending time with their children, trying to give him space, he'd been sleeping with another woman, getting her pregnant. Rosa didn't want his mistress in the castle, she wanted her gone. Of course they would take in the child, they could claim that Rosa gave birth to twins, cover it up seamlessly. But Aric wouldn't have it. His mistress came a permanent fixture in her home, the place she raised her children, now two. Rosa didn't forgive her husband very quickly. She spent even more nights in the nursery to escape him, not even caring if he had some other mistress. If he had one, why not three? Or five, if he'd like?? She said this to Aric once in a fit of anger, and only realized how awful she was being to him when the look on his eyes turned to being full of guilt. She stormed away after that, glaring at his whore of a mistress as she went. Her hatred for hat woman would never die, not even when her child was born. The palace was filled with children at that point, since they were how Rosa spent her time. She didn't care about beig queen after her husbands betrayal, she onto cared about being a mother, and a wonderful one, at that. She stayed in the nursery so many nights that the maids began to consider it her room, they would make he bed up every night, just in case. When Aric's bastard was born, though, Rosa had a change of heart. She saw the baby, and held him in her own arms, and felt her heart flutter. He may not be her child, but she was Aric's, and she'd promised him that she would love him, no matter what, and this was when she needed to follow through. Rosa grew to love the baby, rationalizing that it wasn't his fault he was born of a whore. She still hated the damned woman, and secretly wishes for her to rot in hell for what she did, taking advantage of her husband. But rosa forgave Aric, and since then, has been a much happier woman. She started to spend nights with him more often, and eventually got back to her regular schedule, sleeping every night in their shared chambers. She spent her days with their children...all of them. She would take them on picnics and read from books to them every night before bed, part of her pretended that she was the bastards mother, and treated him as if he were her own child. All of her children were her pride and joy, and that shared view brought she and Aric back to how they used to be. But some things can't be gained back. To this day, when Aric doesn't come to bed, Rosa will roam the castle looking for him, making sure he isn't with Fleur, the mistress he keeps in the castle. She always finds him in the library or something, and always rushes away so he doesn't see her. She'll pretend to be asleep, until he comes into the room, and lays down beside her. Only then can she dealt fall asleep, knowing that her husband is truly hers. Time has flown by for Rosa, and it's become time for her sons selection. She's going to be making sure he chooses for love, and will root for the girls that love him, not the title they could receive. Someone pure of heart, and sweet will be perfect for her Ollie-Wollie, and she's not about to let him, or any of the girls, forget that.

Felicity is brave and adventurous and daring. She likes to spend most of her time outdoors running around getting dirty or riding her white stallion Bell. She pushes past most of her fears and lets almost nothing get in the way of what she wants. She’s stubborn that way. The only fear she is unable to push pasted is her fear of water. Or more like her fear of drowning.
Felicity is the type of girl you’d see in the library quietly reading. She’d most likely reading poetry. And if she’s not in the library she’s outside enjoying nature or in the music room playing her violin or the piano or any other instrument she can get her hands onto.
She’s a generally happy and bubbly girl whose optimistic and likes the see the best in everyone and everything. She knows not everything is good in the world, but she tries not to let it get her down and tries to get others to see things that way as well. She an extremely caring and compassionate person who loves to help others out in anyway she can regardless of who they are and what caste they may be in. If you’re nice to her she’s nice to you. She’s also a hopeless romantic and can’t wait to find the guy of her dreams. Being a hopeless romantic she absolutely loves the Selection and can’t wait to see who her Cousin Oliver ends up with.

Felicity was born on July 17th to her parents James Singer and Evelynn Singer and as the niece of the King and Queen. Felicity lead a simple happy relatively ordinary life. If by ordinary you mean the life of a princess pretty much. Even if she wasn’t a princess herself she still got to participate in most things that her cousins did and she was rather happy that way. She liked spending time with her family no matter what it was they were doing. In her early life she quickly learned to play the violin and the piano which both became her two favorite instruments. She learned other of course, but it was these two she excelled at.
At the age of five before she had learned how to swim Felicity in her clumsiness had fallen into the pool. Because she didn’t know how to swim she had nearly drowned. She still remembers the day and what it feels like to drown and because of it she has a fear of drowning and absolutely refuses to go into any body of water. She even switched from baths to showers. She doesn’t know who pulled her out of the pool though since she was unconscious when it happened, but to this day she is extremely grateful to whomever it was.
And now its the Selection and idea that’s simply exciting for her. She can’t wait to meet the thirty-five girls and possibly make new friends. Sure she doesn’t actually live at the castle, but she does plan to be around a lot and can’t wait for the selection to begin. She just hopes the girls aren’t snobs or bullies.

Ebony is a bit of a two edged sword. While she appears very sweet and gentle on the outside, she's rather plotting on the inside. Of course, everything she does is for the betterment of her country, and for her younger sisters, or so she believes. Ebony is very calculating and studies every situation. She eavesdrops quite frequently and feels a need to know everything. She can be very manipulative, especially with her sweet facade. Many people see her as "Illea's Sweetheart," and appears of broadcasts quite frequently as well as tv shows. She has been practicing her sweet, innocent smile for many a year. She cares about her sisters more than anything else and wishes the best for them, even if she has to go about things the hard way to get it.

Ebony grew up a rather sheltered life, as royals always seem to do. She was without want, truthfully, whatever she wished, her family was easily able to provide. She was also taught to have perfect manners, behave in such a way which would only better their family, never deter it. She was molded, one might say, to be the perfect image of her family.
When she was 12, she started appearing on talk shows, making the country laugh, giving a small glimpse of "the Royal Life." She seemed to capture the hearts of those who saw her with her catlike smile and innocent, wide eyes. And even at the young age that she was, she knew the power she seemed to wield.
But Ebony didn't enjoy her life, and she absolutely detested the Caste system. One of her times out, she heard about the Northern Rebels, and their attacks weren't harmful. So, Ebony did the surprising thing....
She joined them.
Ebony has been supplying the Northern Rebels with information from the palace for three years now.She listens to her father's conversations, political and otherwise, and passes on what information seems pertinent. Every weekend, she makes a short trip outside the castle to a small bakery, the "drop off zone" for her letters.
SHe hopes to soon escape the confines of the palace and join the rebels for good. She will stop at nothing to make sure their goals are achieved. Secretly, Ebony has been training, perfecting her skills. She spends long days and evenings in the gardens, practicing parkour and self defense methods.

【Intelligent•Courageous•Sweet•Sarcastic•Loyal•Chivalrous】
╳Intelligent╳Xander has always been an incredibly intelligent person, ever since he was an infant. He was always very curious about the world around him and wanted to know everything. During the lessons he took with his siblings (he sometimes sat in on the private ones with Oliver), he always understood everything perfectly. Even when with his father and Oli-who was learning things that Xander was supposed to be learning in three years-he understood almost everything. But one thing always drew his attention more than the others-military. Now, he wasn't drawn to it as some little boys are, when they are like, "I want a gun and I'm going to go kill people." No, Xander was interested in the planning, the preparations, the battle. All of it. But even as he grew older, his father would send him away most times, saying he was too young to be dealing with that sort of business. But he's proved himself in a few ways since those days, and has even been helping out with that area of the government.
╳Courageous╳Despite loving to help with the planning of battles and such, Xander has always wanted to be a soldier. He has wanted to go and fight for their kingdom, no matter what happens. He's always known how many people die from wars, ever since a young age, and believes that if he is as loyal to their kingdom as they are, he should be able to fight. But of course, he was never allowed. And so instead, he's been perfecting his swordsmanship and horseback riding, ready to show his father that he really could do it. Courage means to do something with bravery, even if it may frighten you. Not only is he pushing to do something that may frighten him, he is more scared of being a disappointment to his family. He wishes to show his father-and the rest of his family-that he really can do things like this, and it doesn't frighten him, though it does.
╳Sweet╳Xander not only loves military matters, but can be incredibly sweet-when he wants to be. He loves all of his family dearly, and would would hurt anyone severely if they did anything to hurt one of his siblings. Xander also doesn't mind flirting with the maids around the castle at times. It never leads to anything, so it doesn't really matter, and honestly, he's never even kissed anyone. He's excited for his brother and the selection, and can't wait to meet all of the girls. No flirting there, thouugh, obviously. But hopefully he'll have a new friend or two around the castle, at least for a bit. To help him choose the best future Queen, and more importantly, wife, Xander will be giving Oli his opinion on all of them as well.
╳Sarcastic╳Though Xander can be incredibly sweet, he is also especially sarcastic much of the time. He loves joking around with his siblings and just being a complete dork. He especially loves messing with Oli-recently mostly just about the selection-because he's his older brother. It's just natural. At least half the time, he can found be saying something sarcastic or joking about something to lighten the mood, even if the mods doesn't need any lightening. Xander just naturally lights up a room when he walks in, it's just how he naturally is. He doesn't ever try to do anything except fit in with his family. This only worsens the fact that he thinks he doesn't fit in with his family and never will, which is why he's always joking around. He feels it brings him a little closer to Oli, at least, if not any of the others.
╳Chivalrous╳Xander can most definitely be described as chivalrous. He does not only have impeccable manners towards people, but is especially courteous towards women, just as he was always taught by both his mother and father, along with all of his siblings. Not that he's sexist, not at all. Xander was just brought up to be like this. In his opinion, any girl that doesn't mind getting dirty {especially by horseback riding or sword fighting} is wonderful. Xander will most likely be staying away from the selected, during the first few rounds, at least. There's no point in making an amazing friend and then having her leave the next time there's an elimination.
╳Loyal╳And last, but certainly not least, Xander is most likely the most loyal person you will ever meet. He is fiercely loyal towards anyone that touches his or any of his loved ones' heart in any way. Xander will do anything to protect his family and few friends, and if you ever even have the thought of harming them pass through your mind, look out. Because of the loyalty in him, many have tried to take advantage of before, and it did not end well. He is generally exceedingly trusting in others, but is a bit wary towards those he has just met. If you ever become Xander's friend-or more-be careful and be certain. If you turn against him and dare to be a fool about it, it would not end happily for you. Xander absolutely despised liars and cheaters, and doesn't stand for them.

“Heroes are never perfect, but they're brave, they're authentic, they're courageous, determined, discreet, and they've got grit.”
{Hιѕтσяу}
It was a freezing, snowy February night. There was a blizzard blowing outside, and the queen was in labor with her second and third children, after Oliver. The first was their first royal princess, who they named Ebony. The second of the two, who came a mere minutes later, was another royal prince. The King and Queen, overjoyed for their new arrivals, named the second prince Xander Rhydian (after his grandfather) Schreave. Born to Aric and Rosa Schreave, the twins were dotted upon since birth, just as Oliver and all of Xander's soon-to-be-born siblings. But as he grew to be almost two years old, there was another prince born and a princess on the way. This was the time when Xander's irrational fear of being left behind in his large family and being completely ignored began. Oliver began his private tutoring to become the future king, just as Ebony began her princess-ly teachings. There were two new arrivals in the family, a young boy given the name Zain Maxon and a little girl given the name Lillian. As the majority of the parents' attention went to the babies, Xander grew worried. At only four years old, this was not normal. So, after noticing, Oliver almost took Xander in. Xander had always looked up to Oli, seeing as he was his only big brother, but soon they became much closer and loved doing things together.
Ever since Zain and Lillian (the second pair of twins in their family) were born, Xander had grown close to the only person who didn't seem to busy. His grandmother. They grew extremely close, and he absolutely loves her death. Everything about her has always been comforting to Xander, including the snide comments she gives to some and how proper she always makes everyone. It wasn't exactly "motherly", but it reminds him of his childhood and when he was growing up. Even though she loved all of her grandchildren, Xander had a feeling that he was her favorite just because he spent so much time with her. At around the age of eight, Xander became incredibly interested in the military aspect of being a leader. He grew to like swordplay and horseback riding, and loved trailing his father around to learn what was happening in the military world at the moment.
Now for the romantics. Of course, he's a guy, so he's going to be interested in girls. But for the most part, Xander actually enjoyed the same things he did when he was younger, along with playing guitar, more than flirting. His first girlfriend, named Sarah Johnson, was a maid in the castle. They dated for a few months before he was told that he no longer was allowed to see her because of her rank and caste. So they broke up, and Xander once again focused on princely things. When he was 16, the royal family went on vacation for a few weeks, and Xander immediately liked one of the girls he had met there. But they would be leaving soon, and it was obviously not meant to be, so they didn't even bother "dating" formally. By now, however, Xander has grown to like a diplomat with the name of Astrid, and they've been flirting on and off. He doesn't know what to expect, for the reason of she's 3 years older but seems to be flirting back. All in good time, it seems like it will be.

Evelynn is fiercely protective of her three children, especially her youngest Fern. She knows that she would lay down her life for them in a heartbeat and would fight tooth and nail to keep them alive. She spends everyday terrified of her husband, not for what he'll do to her but what he could do to her children. They are her life and her life would not be worth living without them. Her protective nature also extends to her sister Rosabella though it is often Rosa who is the one protecting Evelynn. They have a very close bond and no jealousy exists between them in spite of Rocabella's marriage to the King. Evelynn might often be described as shy owing to her quiet and thoughtful nature. She often appears pensive and consumed by her thoughts, it's not necessarily shyness Evelynn is simply quiet and likes to keep herself to herself. She is particularly kind and this can be seen through her charity work and with the way she interacts with her children. Evelynn will always set aside the time to spend with her kids and she loves nothing more than spending an afternoon with them in the palace grounds.
In spite of everything she's been through Evelynn is a very spirited young woman. Beneath her fragile exterior is an inner strength and spirit that refuses to be broken. She will never completely bend to her husbands will though there is only so much she can physically take, mentally she will never let him in. Evelynn is a little insecure in herself, she tends to hide her body beneath thick layers in order to conceal bruising. Owing to her ordeals she often struggles to eat and her increasingly slender form is often hidden much liked her marked skin. Her insecurity isn't a personal matter she simply wants to protect those around her, Evelynn fears if she were to tell on her husband he would take it out on those she loves. Her anxiety and hesitance is clear in everything she does, fear coupled with her protective nature means she's constantly on edge about the prospect of someone getting hurt. It can't be helped it's simply in her nature and this is how she's chosen to respond to her torment.

ᴇᴀʀʟy ʟɪꜰᴇ~ Evelynn was born in the southernmost province of Illea, a place on the coast called Columbia. She was the first born child of Richard and Esmerelda Parish, Caste 6 workers who had met whilst working for a caste two family within the region. The family struggled to get by and Evelynn's birth had put pressure on the family to bring in more money. To say that they were poor would be an understatement, the family barely got by with enough food and if weren't for the help of the cook at the caste 2 house they never would have survived. Thankfully they family were able to pull together the funds to send Evelynn to school where she began a basic education learning english, maths and science. Two years later Esmerelda gave birth to Rosabella. The baby was beautiful, a perfect quiet child who rarely cried and was an angel in their parents eyes. As Evelynn grew she saw the pride in her father's eyes for Rosa, the youngest had always been the favourite, the apple of her father's eye. Evelynn could not be jealous though, she loved Rosa more than anything in the world and was grateful to have her family, whole and loving as it was. Evelynn was a studious youngster and spent many hours even after school, learning what she could and trying her hardest to impress her parents. She couldn't have been more different from Rosa who's head was filled with fairytales and dreams that wouldn't ever come true. Princes and princesses, heroes and villains they were only stories to Evelynn, nothing she could ever learn from. She always preferred fact to fiction.
﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏
ᴀᴅᴏʟᴇꜱᴄᴇɴᴄᴇ~ At the age of sixteen Evelynn got a job as a maid like her mother, working long shifts and longing for something more. Evelynn had always dreamed of doing something worthwhile, working in science or literature just doing something that could allow her to leave her mark. She never found it working as a maid, though she did happen across something else. James Singer, a young member of the guard. He'd been dating the caste two girl of the home where Evelynn served when they'd first met. James had been sweet courteous and always pleasant. Whenever he'd arrived to meet with Daphne he'd always stopped to speak with Evelynn and ask her about her day. She was delighted by the attention and looked forward to every time he came to visit. A few months later when things fizzled out with Daphne, James came back to ask out Evelynn. It took everything she had to turn him down but she knew she must for the sake of her job. She couldn't risk it, not for her family or her younger sister. A year or two past before she saw him again. It had been a bad year for Evelynn, her father had been killed in a car crash, her family had almost collapsed on itself. And then there he was. James Singer, her angel in disguise. The two fell in love as easily as they had first met. It was around the same time Rosa was entered into the selection and the two would send letters to each other, speaking of their own romances as they happened. Rosa was married not long after and Evelynn a year after that. For her things had finally settled into place and she had everything she had longed for.

ᴩʀᴇꜱᴇɴᴛ ᴅᴀy~ Three beautiful children Evelynn gave James, *blank*, Felicity and Fern. Her perfect angels and all she could ever had dreamed of. Rosa's marriage to the King gave them a steady home within the palace, her little family and Rosa's together in one place. Their children would grow up together and they would share stories for years to come. Evelynn could never have asked for anything more and she often wondered if she had been given too much. Perhaps that was why things changed for her. Why her husband changed. Evelynn couldn't pin point exactly when it had started or what had triggered it, all she knew was that it was her fault and if she didn't do what he said those that she loved would be hurt. Evelynn lives day by day now, dreading James coming home. He retired as a guard not long after Evelynn gave birth to Felicity and now works within the palace as a trainer and advisor to the guards. Evelynn knows what she has to do and it will only be a matter of time before she makes the choice she's been having nightmares about. Before she finally ends her torment.

Aria isn't the sort of girl to sit in the corner and be quiet. She may be a royal, a lady of Illea, but that doesn't mean she's a demure little woman. She's actually everything but that. Aria is a demanding girl. She demands attention when she walks into the room. You can't miss a girl like her. She has enough confidence in her pinky finger to last a lifetime. It comes from being the center of attention for most of her life. She's the middle child in her family, so she's used to having the spotlight, and she loves it. She soaks up every bit of attention that's given to her. But she isn't just an egotist, it's more about having fun than her ego. She has a love of fun that she just can't shut off. Parties, extravagant balls, even just big families dinners, she loves all of them. She likes to be surrounded by people. People are interesting, and fun to talk to. Aria can be a teeny bit outrageous, and contrary to her title, she isn't exactly a lady. She doesn't tone down her personality for anyone. Aria doesn't see the point in spending her life catering to what other people would like to see. Aria makes loud jokes, she makes inappropriate references at the dinner table, she laughs so hard that her energy drinks go out of her nose. She can be goofy for sure, but most of the time, it's just snark that rolls off that tongue. It's how her sense of humor works, Aria can't even hold in her sassy comments. She isn't very OCD about things, Max just likes to go with the flow. She takes charge when she needs to, and can be VERY intrusive when she thinks someone needs her help. She's not afraid to just jump in and take charge when she need to, but most of the time, Aria likes to just have fun with every situation.

sᴛᴀɢᴇ Ⅰ – ʏᴏᴜᴛʜ
Aria Singer was born on a beautiful summer afternoon. The weather outside was bright and sunny, the temperature hot in the province of Angeles. Aria's birth was highly anticipated by everyone in her family. Her mother was sister to the queen, her father a wealthy business man, a very, very respected two that was influential in the community of Angeles. No one in the Singer family had worked since the selection. They were Ones, and had no need to work to be able to support themselves or their growing family. Aria was the baby they had been hoping for for over a year, they'd been trying to have a child for a while. And the beautiful baby girl that her mother gave birth to was everything that they'd hoped for. She was good sized and healthy, crying as soon as she was born, assuring her parents, as well as the king and queen of Illea, that she was perfectly okay. Aria was the second born in her family, but she had plenty of cousins. Her parents wanted to raise her with the other royal children, and so they did. They split their time between their mansion home in Angeles and the palace. It was a large, Victorian style home with plenty of bedrooms for any more children they'd like to have. But other times, they would be at the palace, teaching Aria how to be the perfect little lady. Or at least, they tried to. She could be a stubborn little thing, and often refused to put up her pinky when she drank her tea. She didn't even like tea, really, she would much rather have chocolate milk. And the dresses they put her in were often times too frilly, so she would steal the scissors from her maids sewing kit and simply chop off some of the extra ruffles and things. The king and queen would call her a wild child, but her cousins appreciated her greatly. She was the fun one of the group, the little mastermind that would always get them in trouble, then escape herself by batting her lashes and saying that she had nothing to do with whatever bad happened. She was a genius, really, but one that despised schooling more than anything. Why would she ever want to sit in a lame room, inside, when the Angeles weather outside was so beautiful and inviting? Why listen to teachers drone on about silly things like politics when she could be playing outside or learning to ride a horse? She never understood why schooling was important, and only escaped the lessons she was supposed to be in.
Aria really was a slippery little thing; she would run away from her nannies and tutors, hide for hours in different places around the palace so that they couldn't find her, laugh when they were scolded by her mother and father. It was all good fun to her. The only thing that she did enjoy hearing from the tutors were stories of the selection. Her auntie, the queen, had been one of those very girls, picked from the lower castes to take part in a competition, to win the heart of a prince. It sounded like something that came out of her fairytale books, and she would even ask her mother to tell her stories of when the queen had been in the selection. Aria's mother would always say that they thanked their lucky stars for the selection, because without it, they would never have the life they'd been blessed with. Aria was fascinated by the whole idea, and became just as thankful as her family was for the selection. Her favorite pastime around the palace was learning to ride. She was fairly gifted with horseback riding. The animals loved her as soon as she walked into the stable, and when she chose one to ride, they always complied with her commands easily, as if they'd known the young girl for years, and were used to her lead. Her parents even had one of the guards teach her how to race and jump the horses, since it seemed to be the only thing she actually cared about. That, and her family. She'd been close with her cousins from the start, mostly because she was raised by their sides, but the bond never broke as they got older. She liked being around her cousins, as well as her younger sister, Fern, more than any of the friends her parents thought she would like. She was known as the palaces trouble maker, but that didn't stop people from adoring her.
sᴛᴀɢᴇ ⅠⅠ – ᴍᴀᴛᴜʀᴇᴅ
Even as Aria grew up, her reputation as a trouble maker never changed. In fact, it only grew in size, since the girl seemed to get even more tricky as her years racked up. She liked spending more of her time at the palace instead of her families mansion, which her aunt and uncle never minded. She was family, and even if she wasn't a princess, the queen had a soft spot for her wild hold of a niece. Her best friend in the palace was easily an Italian Duke, Marco. He was only four years older than her, and they were both the little hellions of their families. Marco was an insufferable flirt, and was always getting himself in trouble in that aspect. And Aria got herself in trouble by dancing on the tables at Royal occasions and kissing the French Prince in dark corners. She just didn't care for the consequences, since she's never had any punishments come to her. Maybe a slap on the wrist every once in a while, or she was "grounded". But grounding was easy to get out of, and she never really cared about what people said to her when she was scolded. Why would she? She was going to be exactly who she wanted, no matter what her family said to her. She knew that they loved her anyway. She wasn't a princess, it wasn't the countries reputation hanging on her. She had even more interest in horse back riding when she was older as well. Aria loved the horses. They were intelligent and beautiful, and if she could tame them into listening to her, then she'd done her job. And she loved to take care of them. Often times she would help train the new horses that the palace got, since she was so great at it. The only problem was that her mother was still hell bent on trying to make her a lady. She would have her take the lessons in etiquette, even though she didn't need them. Aria knew all the manners and ways that she should act, she wasn't that stupid, she just didn't care to follow them. They weren't really her. She was more rebellious, into doing what she wanted. Even the dress fitting that her mother forced her to go to were absolute torture for Aria. She had to stand utterly still for hours upon hours, while a seamstress stuck pins into her sides and her mother clucked about her losing weight or wearing less makeup, everything that Aria hated. But it was the one time that the Duke could corner her daughter, the only time that je had to talk to her about who she wanted to marry and where she wanted to go with her life. Aria only rolled her eyes though, she had no idea what she wanted to do, or who she wanted to marry. She was barely an adult, so why did she have to chose so soon? There were hundreds of men coming to the castle all the time from different countries, so she was sure that she would fall in love at some point. But her father didn't care for that answer, he wanted her to pick some man from Illea, someone that could take care of her. Aria only rolled her eyes though, a classic teenager to the end. She went shopping and to fittings with her cousins and friends a lot, though, she actually loved it. Getting the latest fashions so she can wear them around the palace or at home, entrance everyone with them, it was always a lot of fun for her.
It was only recently that aria really got involved with the workings of the palace. She's insanely excited that she would get to see all the girls from all the different ares. She wanted to try and learn about them, see what they really wanted from her cousins. Her plan was to make sure that they were good enough for them. Aria and Marco talked to each other all the time, she told him about how she had no idea if she would ever find what true love was, all she'd had so far was infatuation, and that just wouldn't cut it for her. She knew Marco had more worries than he'd let on, so she was going to be there for hime. She's insanely excited, and has been finding tons of fun in the palace over the past week. She's even found a guard that she sees as eye candy. Super rough and tumble, but he's got a jaw line that's given her something to look at whenever there's a dull moment. The fittings have been crazy, and watching the maids run around to get the rooms ready have been fun. She's been tasting the cakes that they want to serve at the parties, and getting fitted for gowns that she'll be wearing on multiple occasions. It's all a flurry of excitement, and Aria can't wait for more.

【Cautious•Artistic•Intelligent•Loyal•Trait•Trait】
╳Cautious╳Carter has always been and will always be an extremely cautious person. Lets just say…not everyone approves of him because he was born out of disloyalty, from the one person in the entire country that is supposed to set an example for all of the citizens. Because of this, Carter has always had to be careful of who he's speaking with, seeing as you never know which person is the one who genuinely wants to get to know you or the person who may possibly want to harm you for, you know, being born.
╳Artistic╳While the stereotypical boy (especially prince) is supposed to enjoy athletics, Carter never has. He likes the outdoors and such, but absolutely hated having to waste time on sports with his "brothers" while he could be spending his time much more usefully, such as by drawing or being bored. Carter not only likes art, but he's always had quite a talent with his artistic abilities, whether it was just sketching or painting. Few people actually know about this talent of his, seeing as he never would tell anyone. If someone knew, they had figured it out themselves and Carter couldn't care less.
╳Intelligent╳Along with being artistically talented, Carter is also considered to be intellectually gifted as well. From a young age, Carter has been curious, and figuring things out himself. He would take apart random things such as clocks just to figure out how they work and how to put them back together. Since he grew up in the palace, Carter got an amazing education, though unfortunately his classes were spent with he other princes. Even if he knew the answer-which he almost always did-Carter wouldn't say it, and instead would just stay quiet. He knew he was smart, that's all he wanted.
╳Loyal╳Surprisingly, Carter is actually extremely loyal. Because of his position and how he grew up, Carter just learned to hold on to anyone he had. Of course, there aren't many people that actually associate themselves with him, but when they actually choose to, Carter tried the best he can to keep them in his life. He's extremely quiet most of the time, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to be friends with you or anything else.

“Every day I feel like I'm homesick for a place that doesn't exist.”
{Hιѕтσяу~1ѕт Ƥєяѕση}Carter Adam Schreave.
"Yep, that's me. If you want to know about my life, you kind of have to go back to before I was even born. My mother and father were never married. Stuff happened between them, and here I am. I was never supposed to born, and everyone knows it. I'm no prince. I'm just some bastard kid that's the result of the king messing around with someone else. Anyway, I was born September 3rd, and was tried to be kept secret for a bit, but it was impossible. So my dad-the king-took little baby me to meet my "siblings, all who knew I was not their mommy's child.
I grew up in the palace along the true royal children. The boys all participated in some kind of sport if not more, while the girls all gravitated towards gowns and jewels. And I was stuck here, somewhere off on the side, just…there. I didn't have many friends, and despite me being a "prince", no girls ever really wanted to date me, either. When I was 14-almost 2 years ago-I actually tried to kill myself. A maid walked in on me, and somehow convinced me otherwise. I didn't even know her, and yet she was the only person who was able to convince me that I was worth living. My father hadn't been able to convince me of that, not my mother. And most certainly none of my "siblings". Zoë-that's her name-didn't tell anyone, and she's still the only other person that knows of that. I know people probably assume such, but Zoë was the only one who knew for sure.
After this, I became great friends with Zoë. Not in a romantic way, of course, we just became best friends. I helped her out in the kitchens and cleaning the rooms, and kept her company while she sewed and such. But…that was only until she told me about "that cute guard" who had asked her out. And I guess…I was jealous. Who would've guessed? I told her that, and she just left. Not a word before just walking out of the room, and probably right to "that guard". I was once again friendless, and this time,
no one was coming to save me."

“I like to be left alone, but when people don't notice I'm absent, it hurts. I know it's my own fault for becoming invisible, isolating myself, but once, just once, I want someone to notice.”
┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━♙━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ZANE MAXON SCHREAVE
prince of illea![]()
The last Prince of Illea--or, what everyone thought would be the last Prince, but Aric had other ideas--was born along with his sister, Princess Lillian. Twas a simple birth, nothing too big or anything. There was the oddness of Zane, who stayed mute for three days while Lilly was full of happiness, but life went on. He learned to talk, his first word being "Hello" and he learned to crawl. Eventually he learned to walk, and then he was unstoppable. Rosabella had moments where she questioned the entire world, as her son never seemed to get tired. Except, once he was tired, he was very tired and slept for a very long time. Zane was happy and fun, full of energy and this "spunk" all the little boys in Illea wished they possessed. It was the way he was, a generally liked person. He liked attention and he liked to make people smile. He liked when people talked to him or looked at him, and in return for them doing so he'd make them smile or laugh. In fact, Zane made the entire country laugh. But then, it all ended. He got quieter, and he said fewer jokes. Everyone wondered what went wrong and why he suddenly changed. Why Zane went from everyone's friend to someone who just sat there. His siblings, his friends, even his own mother couldn't get it out of him why he was so different. But it was who he was. Zane had changed, and maybe, not for the better. He had changed mainly because he saw the person he was. He stuck out, in the sea of royals. He was an absolute clown, with the shoes and big red nose. While his brother was also very funny, he was at least a royal who could play the part. So, Zane decided he’d play the part too. He closed off his family, turning into a man of few words. He still spoke to them and participated in events, just quieter. He did what he was asked of, and didn't ask for much in return. It was debated whether Zane would be betrothed or not, but Aric refused to have his son married to some girl he had never met. So, life continued. Sure, Zane met loads of girls and they all made impressions on him. Hell, some tried to get him to kiss them or follow them to do what ever it was they wanted to do. But, he never did so. Now he is sixteen, and Oli is having his selection. So, is he just going to stand there and look hot, or is the pure Prince going to do something?Zane, is the youngest Prince of Illea. yet he is also the tallest and also appears to be the oldest. Ah well, more ladies for him. Zane stands at six feet, higher than his brothers and an inch below his father. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and with that description you imagine some boring old Prince. But no, this is Zane, one of the most attractive males you've ever seen. His hair is a dark brown, but it's full of volume and is also rather soft! His eyes are pretty basic though, the only quality they have worth mentioning is that they truthfully show his emotions. If you're lucky, you'll get to see him smile, and that visual is quite extraordinary. Zane tends to be found in various suits, or a casual yet professional-looking outfit.━━━━━━━━━━▹ born on April seventeeth

HOT OR NAH?
━━━━━━━━━━Zane, is fake. No, I don't mean fake as in, talking behind your back and then telling you he loves you. More like, pretending to be someone he's not. Zane can be his own person, but most of the time, he's someone else. He's very formal and calm, not saying much. And while it's okay, and it makes him look like he'd be the better King, no one wants someone who isn't himself. Someone who doesn't stand up for what they believe in, or someone who does things they don't really want to do because they are someone else. The actual Zane, if you're lucky enough to have met him, is awesome. He has a good sense of humor and is very kind though he is kind when both real and fake. Zane doesn't get nervous or flustered easily, and can actually be a bit of a rebel himself when it comes to something's. If you're lucky enough to have him love you, or maybe just like you, you'll see the real Zane. But maybe you never will. Zane is a bit inexperienced when it comes to girls, even though he's pretty hot. He caught their hints and everything, he just never followed through. Now he's sixteen, one of the hottest people on the planet, and pure. So, will you be the one to take him? Or are you just going to admire him from afar...?━━━━━━━━━━▹ Fake af, pretends to be someone he's not

Mᴀʀᴋɪɴɢ(s): When she was little and the family was camping, Katherine was running around with her brother. While her father warned her not to run too close to the fire, she ignored him, by this time having made up her opinion not to like him. Well, in the end, Katy tripped over a stone and landed on her shoulder at the edge of the fire. Her shoulder has some burn marks, but she isn't afraid to hide them. Katherine is happy with who she is and isn't self conscious about her burn--if anything, it has made her stronger--and made her more aware that even if she doesn't like someone, you should always at least think about what they say to you.
Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Unlike the rest of her family, Katherine is rather delicate. She can't use a sword like her sister, Mari, and isn't a supporter of the rebels like her other sister, Ebony. Her brothers and her father all know how to fight. If you were to ask her who she believed she took after the most, it would have to be her mother. Katy loves her mother, and loves her grandmother just as much. She looks up to them both and strives to be the best each of the woman has to offer. She is ladylike and polite, but is well aware of her position, meaning she will not hesitate to pull someone up on something they have done if she knows it is disrespectful to her. Katy is unconditionally kind, quire reserved, and cares for animals as much as people. If she was to ever become a ruler, she believes this affection for creatures is what would help her in the war counsel, the time spent volunteering at shelters meaning she is more willing to let people get hurt than their pets. Growing up in her family meant she is a graceful dancer, a lovely singer, an adept scholar, and even has some gymnastics on the side. She is exactly what a person would believe a princess to be. She can flirt within moderation to come off as alluring, be mysterious enough to leave men hanging, all the while maintaining her dignity. She is faithful, loyal, and actually has little interest in finding a man outside of the way her family sees fit. She will happily accept being married off, if it has to happen, but other than that, would never, say, hook up with a guard for a night of fun. She values honor and intends to bring her family much of it. This is why she dislikes her father, Aric, for having cheated on her mother and brought shame to them. Their relationship has never been the same since she was old enough to understand what he had done. While her mother was pregnant with her, her father was out there getting someone else pregnant. It was like he didn't care for her. She loves her half brother though, and doesn't take her anger at her father out on him.
Sᴛʀᴇɴɢᴛʜ(s): singing; dancing; gymnastics; studying and all related topics; politics.
Wᴇᴀᴋɴᴇss(ᴇs): dependency issues; afraid of large crowds of commoners; prone to panic and anxiety attacks; lack of fighting abilities.
Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: She is very mature for her age, and this comes from having to learn from an early stage in her life that her existence wasn't appreciated by a lot of people. Enemy countries, rebels. Not that she minded, of course. Katherine understood all this and never took it personally. Instead, she allowed herself to be raised the perfect princess. With equal participation from her mother and grandmother, Katy isn't afraid to say that she feels they did a good job with her. She loves having afternoon tea with her mother, or morning tea with her grandmother. Sometimes it is the other way around. Either way, she always tries to show her appreciation to the pair and show them that she has listened and learned from them. Her life was, overall, great. Apart from a mishap when she was camping with her family, and the occasional rebel attack where things were cut a little too close for comfort, here she is. Alive. Well. Happy. And, most importantly, the personified definition of a traditional princess--with a few little bits and pieces of Seraphina thrown into her genetic makeup for good measure.

Pᴇᴛ(s): Katherine has many, may pets. Whereas a lot of her family focus primarily on the citizens of their country, she likes to help out at animal shelters when it is her turn to promote the good image of the royal family. Don't get her wrong though, she loves helping other people, but she hates to see things getting harmed when they can't fight back. Because of this, Katy has adopted many different pets over the years, all in an attempt to prevent them from getting the needle as they are unwanted and won't be adopted in time (view spoiler) .
