She doesn't weigh a lot at 7 stone and has a small but curvy figure.

First and for most Fleur is an intelligent woman but most forget that in favour for her pretty looks and seductive manner as they would prefer to believe that the girl was empty headed and that is why the king was attracted to her. She is manipulative and knows how to persuade everyone around her to do as she wishes. She even has her older brother wrapped around her finger. She pretends to be meek and obedient to please the king and stroke his male ego but if you catch her outside of the palace, she is outspoken about her beliefs and opinions. She can be a playful girl and is often seen playing with her siblings and the palace children when they were younger. She keeps herself to herself most of the time but isn't shy just reserved as it helps her to observe everyone around her. She see's details most people miss. She is arrogant and haughty which is a trait most people dislike about her because she acts as if she is better than them. She often looks down her noses at the people around her because of their inferior intellect and social status. When ever someone holds a conversation with her they immediately notice her animated and lively manner. She never seems to be bored no matter what the subject of the conversation is.

Fleur was born over 26 years ago to a pair of caste 3 parents. They had never wanted a child and Fleur came as surprise but they fell in love with her as soon as she was born or at least her mother did. Her father could tell his daughter would grow up to be a beautiful woman and wanted to use her as a pawn in his schemes. As a young child her father spared no expense on his daughter and hired her the best tutors and brought the best clothing even if it meant they had no money for anything else. The tutors taught her a range of things from politics and law to dancing and piano, all the things a young lady needed. In all fairness she was given the education of a princess but the downside was she had little time to do anything else. From the time she was five years old she had lessons from 7am till 8pm and then it was supper with her family 8:05pm-9pm and then bed. The little girl had to quickly get used to the routine because her tutors were strict and did not like the little girl yawning because she was tired or complaining because she couldn't do something. She had no friends and it was a lonely life. The young girl longed for something more and didn't understand why her parents forced her through this, she wasn't royal and had no chance at being a Selection Girl- she was too old compared to the princes. But she diligently sat through it hoping for some clue as to why her father was making her go through with it. The routine continued until she turned 16 and her mother was told by her father to find someone to give her seduction lessons. So her mother hired a famous courtesan who serviced a lot of celebrities. She taught her pupil how to use her body to entice and her words to seduce. She taught the young girl, that looks were all that mattered in the world but Fleur knew they weren't or else her father would not have made her do all those lessons. When her lessons were complete a few days before her 17th birthday. Her father finally told her why she had to do all this. He told her it was her duty to her family to attract the attention of the King and make him fall for her but under any circumstances she was not to fall for him. He then unleashed his weapon at the King's birthday ball were she charmed and enticed most of the men there including the King. The two danced around each other for a few months until her invited her to his bed. To start with she found it easy not to love him as all she was to him was a bedmate but soon the King started confiding in her and told her about himself. She found it impossible not to fall for him and soon she was deeply in love with him. Her father was mad at her but there was a positive to it, Fleur was now invested in bringing the Queen down so she could become the King's wife. She plots behind the royals back with her father and is slowly ruining the Queens reputation, hoping the rebels will dispose of her with the more she reveals but she does have many back-up plans if that doesn't work. With the Prince's Selection having just started Fleur is more eager than ever to get rid of the Queen so she can have the throne and marry her King. Fleur had also given birth to a child and hopes to make the child legitimate one day, so they don't have to suffer like she did.

Remus is a perfect mix of his father’s and mother’s looks. Remus himself has his mother’s warm brown eyes and medium complexion. Whereas he has his father’s blondish-brown curly windswept hair and ariocrastic features. Remus stands at about 6 foot 1 a sold 3 inches shorter than his father and 3 inches taller than his mother. Remus himself is lean and muscular but not overly so. It was quite obvious that his athletic form was from intense exercise and physical activity.

I was born on a freezing December night, December 14th, to be exact. I wasn't the only child. I was a triplet, and the youngest of the three. Before my sisters and I came into the world, our family had only consisted of three people: My father, my mother, and my older brother, August. August was already six years old when the three if us arrived. First out was April, then May, and then me, June. My mother liked the idea of months for names, and therefore, her four children were named August, April, May, and June. My father…well, lets just say he didn't exactly enjoy that idea. I never noticed it, though. I was too focused on having people pay attention to me. I was the youngest, so naturally, I was the baby. My father would play with me and my brother and sisters for hour on end every day, and my mom would take over when he had to leave for work. We were practically a perfect family, though, now that I look back, money was a bit tight already.

When my little brother, Winter, was born, things changed. Subtly, at first. My father wouldn't be home to play with us as much. As a four year old girl used to getting all the attention, this was hard. Did he not love me anymore? That's all four-year-old-me could think after he completely stopped playing with us. It wasn't just that he wouldn't play with us anymore. He was found around the house less and less, going out somewhere every afternoon and nigh and coming back acting all weird.

His whole life, Will had always been intrigued by fantasies written into stories. Whether they are fictional or nonfictional, Will can always be found with at least one book nearby. This comes from his childhood, his mother would always read fairy tales to him and encourage him to go outside and read or write stories o his own, and be different from all of his brothers. She kept his love for reading and writing alive. Though he didn't have many friends, he grew to like going to school as well. Will soaked up information, ranging from history to science, and never seemed to get enough of it. Even today, Will loves just going to the library and licking a new topic to read and learn about.

Because of all the time Will has spent studying and reading, he has grown to be extremely intelligent for his age. He originally got his job as a diplomat at just 19 years old, which is almost unheard of. But Will has already made quite a name for himself around the castle, and is grateful to be out of the shadow of his father and brothers. Not only is Will book smart, but street smart as well. Unfortunately, he's never been much of a romantic. He was always too quiet when he was younger, and didn't even bother. Now, that has continued into into his adulthood, and Will doesn't know much in the aspects of love. Other than that, however, he could answer basically any question you could have.

╳Sweet╳

Will is incredibly sweet, despite the cruel conditions he lived through as a child. His childhood-surprisingly-taught Will how to always be as kind and sweet as he possibly can be. He hated the way he was treated by his father and brothers, and has never wanted anyone else to feel as inferior as he had at that point in his life. His mother was also an incredibly sweet human being, for she was able to deal with her husband and all of Will's 6 older brothers. She had always been the biggest influence in Will's life, which makes sense for why he is so much like her.

All his life, Will has had a strong sense of loyalty towards others. Anyone close to him-even his father and brothers-Will would protect until his last breath, if necessary. He's never imagined why people cheat on each other in relationships, if you didn't love each other anymore, why don't you just separate? Even with his betrothal to Aria he has been completely loyal to, though there have been a few opportunities when he could've gone and dated someone else.

William Edward Kinsman.

Born to the Henry and Felicity Kinsman on a cold December night, William was the seventh and youngest boy in his family. The oldest, nine years old at the time, was named Aaron, and was already an amazing soccer player. Next came seven year old Brendan, who was also showing an interest for soccer, taking after his older brother. Then came little Hugh, who was six years old and was always running around. Next in line, little four year old Alfie, and then the twins Casey and Adrian, who were already two. All seven boys grew up in a harsh home style, tough not all the same. Their father, Henry, was a famous diplomat for their country. Amazing at what he did. But he was truly a cruel and stereotypical man. He forced each of his boys to have chosen a sport by age seven, and made them practice every day for hours. The six eldest were all fine with this-seeing as they were all interested in sports-but Will wasn't. Growing up, he had always preferred finding a nice sunny spot and reading a story-preferably a fairytale like the ones his mother had read to him-rather than running around with his fathers and brothers. He also wrote his own unique stories, and had quite a talent. His mother saw it, but his father would have none of it.

When Will turned nine and was expected to choose a sport, Will refused. This was the beginning of Will's traumatic childhood experience. He told his father that he would rather read or write stories, and was hit-for the first time ever, Will had been harmed by his father. When his mother tried to defend him or at least calm her husband down, Henry hit her across the face as well. Henry screamed nonstop at Will for three hours, then promptly went to his room and took all of the short stories Will had written, and threw them into their fireplace. Henry from this point on continued cruel acts such as mean words and physical harm to Will every or almost every day, and encouraged his brothers to make fun of him. By the time he got to the school all of his brothers were at, the rumors had already been spread by the six boys and Will was left for four years with only himself, his books, and his dreams. By studying harder with all of his spare time, Will was able to get into one of the best colleges in England and move on to get a job as a diplomat.

Since the day he got his job, Will had made a name for himself and gotten out from under the shadow of his father and brothers. He has traveled several times to Illéa, and soon became entranced by the gorgeous Duchess Aria. From far off, of course. He could never talk to her. And anyway, she was four years younger than him. But when he found out her father was thinking about a engagement, Will went to speak to him. It was settled that Aria was to be betrothed to William, but couldn't stay at the palace just yet. So Will left Illéa and went back to England. He continued spending time on his work, focusing harder than ever, though wondering when he would be requested at the palace. He was soon called back, and is now preparing to actually get to know her better. Will could almost be compared to a puppy. He had suh high hopes, but didn't even think of getting them crushed. That had happened too many times when he was younger, the universe wouldn't do hay to him again…would it?

Ella, to those who first meet her, is a quiet, seemingly timid girl. Given her situation, she dislikes speaking out of turn more often than not, fearing the consequences, but as she has gotten older she has become more vocal. Opinionated. Quiet she may be, but she is strong-willed and passionate about her beliefs. Ambitious, she has a mission to eradicate the caste system, and reduce poverty, and she won't be playing by the Crown's rules, or even the rules of the rebels, but will be doing it her own way. She loves her adoptive father, and though he terrifies and threatens her at times, she sees him as the stepping stone she needs to break into the political world and is fully determined to do this.

Though she has never really had many friends, before her parents died, or after, she hopes she can make friends she can trust. Ella is a complete idealist, and when reality knocks her back, she feels it more than most. She has a bad hero complex, and will always try and save anyone she thinks is unfairly suffering. Hell, even if they do deserve it, she'll still protect them. She has a big heart, and an unrivaled compassion and desire to help those in need. She can't do much about the poverty yet, but she can still lend a hand wherever she can. Her favourite subjects at school are History, Literature and Philosophy, and she is Chairman of the Chess Club, a decision she made which, for once, her adoptive parents approved of.

Ella was born to Alice and Daniel Makin. Her parents weren't rich, and they could never really buy nice things, but they got by alright. They made do with what they had, and despite everything, what they had was each other. At the time she longed for more, but looking back on it now, she recalls them being the happiest years of her life.

She was 12 when the accident happened. Her parents were killed in a car crash, leaving her in the hands of a godfather she'd never met. A politician by the name of Earnest Coleman, and his wife, Danica. At first, Ella thought they were sent from heaven just to rescue her from her grief, and for a while, she was perfectly happy. They were doting, kind and generous, and she was very comfortable living with them. Until she started to notice how they didn't like her doing things without permission.

It wasn't long before she realised how controlling they were, only what could she do? They had saved her when she had no one else. Was she just being a hormonal teenager? She brushed it off; they wanted what was best for her. She grew to love them in her own way, and felt an enormous sense of duty towards them. As though she owed them at least so much.

When the Selection came about, they changed slightly. Became more strict, and less doting. She didn't understand it at first, but of course, they had told her exactly what they meant. "You can't be selected for this Prince," her mother had said, "But you can be sure as anything that you'll get selected for the next one. Don't waste these opportunities we'll give you. Get in there quick; let them know you exist. That you're an option."

Which prince? Either Xander or Zane, they weren't really fussed. The important thing was that she was to be selected, without fail, as one of their suitors. She was afraid, not because of what they asked, but because she knew it would never happen. Opportunities or not, she lacked all of the charm of any of Prince Oliver's suitors, and barely half the beauty. She would not be selected, and by the rare chance she would be, he would not pick her. Princes married strong, confident and beautiful women who would know just how to rule. The Royal Palace was no place for a girl like her.

So what would happen, then, when she was not selected? Would she have failed her purpose entirely? And whilst she worried over this endlessly, there was the ever growing problem of more people starving. She couldn't keep just stealing her parents' money to give them every so often. It wasn't enough, she needed to stop it all together, and in order to do that she needed to follow in Earnest's political footsteps. Yet how could she, if all he wanted for her was to become a Prince's bride?

All she did was scream inside - she was utterly trapped. Bound by her obligation to her family, and yearning to follow her heart and save the people, she has no choice but to wait and see what happens.

"Why must I suffer for her mistakes?"

When Arissa's mother was nineteen she made a terrible mistake. She slept with a guy and got pregnant the guy was someone who she didn't love but he was in love with her and wanted them to raise the baby together. Her mother didn't want that and so she left and moved to Zuni where she had her child and tried to make a living on her own. That is until Arissa turned two then her mother met a different man and they fell in love. They got married and he adopted her as his very own then two years later they had a baby girl of their own Julia she was a sweet baby and everyone loved her even Arissa. Three years passed and her parents had another baby this time a boy they named him Hunter. He wasn't the only unexpected news that arissa got that year that's the year that her mother told her about her father. She didn't say much, she only told Arissa his name and that he worked at the palace. She didn't get a picture no wonderful story of how they met, nothing , zilch, zero information whatsoever. It didn't bother her then of course all she cared about was that she had a dad now and he loved her very much and that little girl thought nothing could ever go wrong in her world.

"Sounds like a happy ending doesn't it? Well we haven't gotten to the bad part yet."

Arissa was in second grade, and as she was walking to school she saw a little girl her age who was crying Arissa asked her why and the little girl told her that her mother had kicked out her father who she loved very much out of the house and she felt like she would never see him again. Arissa comforted her and they walked to school together and Arissa told her about her own father who was missing from her life. They got school and headed to class where the teacher asked them to introduce themselves and tell the class a little bit about them. Arissa's friend talked about her dad and was surprised and sad when the rest of the class gave her mean stares and started to whisper behind her back. It was Arissa's turn and she didn't want her new friend to be alone among the classroom of hateful stares and whispering. So she told the class about her missing father and she to got the hard stares and there was more whispering but she didn't mind. She thought everything was going to stay the same. Boy was she wrong.....

"I wished I never would've said a thing."

When she went home everything was fine but after her second day of school that's when her whole world turned upside down. She had just walked in the door when she felt a hand go across her cheek. All Arissa felt was pain both emotional and physical but that was nothing compared to what came next. The words hurt more than anything else things that nobody should ever have to hear from someone they love but these words were being said to her by her own mother. Arissa had no idea what she had done wrong no clue to why her mother was saying those awful things. She soon found out though the next day when she went into town to buy bread and stuff. The whole town was whispering about the girl whose father was missing and whose mother was a slut. Arissa ran home completely forgetting about what happened the day before. She only wanted to be held by her mother and told that everything was alright, that's the exact opposite of what happened. When she got home she discovered that her family had moved on without her. The only thing she found was a photograph of what she suspected was her father.

Eventually she ran out of the house and tried going over to her new friends house but her mother didn't want her daughter to be friends with a girl whose mother was a slut. So Arissa settled for the next best thing being neighbors. There was an old lady who lived right next door and she needed a maid so Arissa gladly volunteered. The work wasn't wasn't very hard and she still got to go to school and everything. Life was good she and the girl next door quickly became best friends and they fantasizes about finding their fathers. Each time was a little different but one thing was always the same they were always together.
This went on for many years the girls were both fifteen now and it was six days before Arissa turned sixteen. When they finally decided to stop dreaming and actually do something. So they both packed some bags and they left in the middle of the night heading do Angeles. They hitchhiked until they came to a gas station where Arissa got out to get some snacks for her and her friend. When the most terrible, horrifying thing happened.

"It was worse then when my mother slapped me, worse than her calling me names, worse than her moving and leaving me behind."

Arissa had just came out of the gas station and saw her best friend lying on the floor in a pool of blood. She ran over to her to see if she was still alive when two men tackled her to the ground. One of the men held her down while the other cut her. It was absolute torture. She thought it was over until she saw a glint of light and saw that they were now holding the knife above her. She thought it was all over so she closed her eyes and waited for whatever was to come when instead of a knife she felt arms around her and lifting her into their car. She tried to fight back but was to tired and weak so she fell asleep instead. When she woke up she was covered in a blanket . She wanted to know who her rescuer was. She found him by a tree he asked her where she was going and if he could help her get there. She told him that she was going to the Palace neither of them spoke about what happened the night before. He was going to the same place and so they went together. When she got to the Palace she took on a job as a maid ever since she's been looking for her father. She hasn't found him yet but she knows she will eventually.

Sofia's history so far

Sofia Katarina Walker was born on a muggy summer night in the Illean province of Angeles. Her parents were ecstatic and welcoming to her, thinking of her life as a blessing. Katarina and Cole Walker were a young married couple. Cole worked as an investment banker, and had recently moved his families business from England to Illea, to expand the companies reach, as well as to be with Katarina, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, whom Cole was smitten with. The two had married after getting together, and just a year later, Sofia came along. She has big brown eyes with a glint in them from the moment she was born, and both parents were in love with her from her first blink.

Sofia was raised in the perfect household. Her mother didn't work, and instead stayed home in their beautiful country home to take care of little Sofia. She wasn't exactly the normal little girl, but she was very sweet. Her mother would always call her into the kitchen or out to the garden, and try to teach her with a patient smile how to bake a cake or tend to the flowers. She loved her daughter, and only wished for her to be happy and loved for the rest of her life. She thought that skills such as baking and gardening would be good for Sofia, but her little girl wasn't the best at anything that requires patience. When she baked cakes, she always had to wait for them to cook in the oven, and then for them to cool so she could frost them. And when they gardened, Sofia had to watch the soil, waiting for her flowers or her vegetables to finally sprout. It would take days, even weeks, and Sofia grew bored in just minutes. She was interested in more active things. Her absolute favorite pastime was catching animals. As odd as it sounds, Sofia would roam the yard of her families home and snag different animals in Mason jars. She poked holes in the top, and left little bits of grass and things at the bottom of each jar. Bees, salamanders, tiny snakes, snails, caterpillars, whatever she could find. She caught them in jars and kept them in her room, on her favorite windowsill, for a few days, watching them and seeing what they were like, what they did and how they acted. And then her mother would tell her when it was time to release them. It was always sad for Sofia when she had to let her animals go, but her mother said it was important, that she had to if she wanted them to stay safe and happy. And Sofia wasn't cruel, not by a long shot. She liked the animals because she wanted to know how they worked, because she liked them. Even the bees, that stung her palms and arms, she loved the colors of their hard shells, and the buzzing sound they made when they were stuck inside the jars.

Sofia had strong relationships with her family. Her father was practically her best friend. She was definitely a daddy's girl. When he came home from work, Sofia was always waiting outside. And when his car pulled up, and her daddy stepped out of the car, Sofia ran to him, launching herself into his arms for a big hug, while he caught her and twirled her around in the air. She would tell him all about how her day went, every single detail. And Katarina would watch from the front door with tenderness in her eyes, calling at them to come inside and wash up for supper. Sofia always complained, saying that the food didn't care if she was clean or not, and Carter would ruffle her hair, laughing at her and carrying her inside. Her friends were different than her, they were girls that lived in the houses next to the Walkers. Their closest neighbor was a ways away, but the girls and boys walked over to Sofia's house everyday. They would play together and Katarina would make them grilled cheese sandwiches, with no crusts, for lunch. They spent long days in the summer roaming the property, catching bugs and wandering through the woods. It wan an adventure everyday, and Sofia adored it. She never had any trouble falling asleep at night, since she spent all her energy during the days.

Her least favorite times of the year was when her father had to go on business trips. He always said that it was essential, but Sofia doubted it. She would whine with her mother that his job was to be there with them, in the house and taking care of them. It was obvious that he didn't want to leave, anyway, so Sofia usually gave up and tried to make him feel better about leaving. She gave him her favorite stuffed animal, a stuffed fox named Jelly Bean (Bean for short), after her favorite candy (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)]. When she was eight years old, her father was headed to Southern Illea, but his flight was extremely early in the morning, and she didn't get to see him before he left. So she still had Bean nestled in her arms when she woke up, and let out dozens of sobs. Bean protected him, and always made sure he got home safely, so the fact that he didn't have him was terrifying to her. But her mother convinced her that it was okay, and that as long as Sofia held onto Bean, Cole would be just as safe as if he had the little friend himself. Sofia listened to that, and spent the whole time that he was gone carrying Bean around with her; stuffing him in the pockets of her pants or carrying him close to her chest. She wouldn't let him out of her sight, so her daddy could be safe. He called every night to wish her good dreams, and soon enough, it was the day before he would be home. Sofia knew that he would be home very late that night, is she had to go to bed early and things like that. She wanted to be up bright and early to wake him up the next day. But she never got the chance. Sofia went to bed at 8:30 that night, with wet hair from her shower and clad in blue flannel pajama bottoms (covered in penguins), and a black tank top. Katarina said goodnight and then left to go to sleep in her room, Sofia snuggled under her pink bedsheets. She fell asleep quickly, and when she woke up, she was just dazed and confused. She heard a loud crash downstairs and sat up in bed, holding Bean close. There were footsteps on the stairs, and her mother came through the door a moment later. She told Sofia in a hushed voice to stay very quiet. The hushed tone of her mother terrified Sofia, so she listened and stayed hidden in her mothers arms on the floor behind her bed frame. They heard noises downstairs, taunting and yelling for them to come out in scary, angry voices. Sofia pressed herself closer to her mother, only wishing that it was all a bad dream, and that she would wake up. But it wasn't a dream, and soon enough the men were upstairs, opening every door in the hallway and searching for the two girls. Sofia's room was the last in the hall, and it felt like it took the men hours to search each room. Sometimes there would be silence, and Sofia thought that maybe, just maybe, they'd decided to leave. But there was always the creak of a floorboard or the laughter of a man to indicate that they were still there. Finally they came upon the last door, and called softly, taunting phrases like We know you're in here... and Come out, come out, wherever you are, as if it were some game. And a terrifying game it was, because as soon as they came into Sofia's room, Katarina sprung into action, and Sofia peeked her eyes over the top of the mattress. She grabbed one of Sofia's Mason jars and threw it at the first man. It crashed and broke into pieces against his face, and blood spurted from the gashes the glass left, making him look even more terrifying. There were two more men behind him, though, and they weren't distracted by the jar. One of them held pulled a knife from his belt, and the other grabbed Sofia and dragged her across the mattress to the other side of the room. He put her in a head lock, and Sofia watched as her mothers face turned to one of pure terror. The men spoke about doing things to Katarina and Sofia; cutting them up with their knives, carving them until they didn't even look human anymore. Sofia was crying and thrashing in their arms, kicking and screaming, but still holding Bean. It distracted the criminals, and Katarina saw a chance to save her baby girl. She hit two of the men over the head with Sofia's woofel ball bat and then grabbed Sofia quickly, pushing her towards the door and telling her to go, to run, not to come back. And of course, Sofia thought that her mommy would be right behind her. So with sobs hiccuping from her throat, she ran. She ran out the door and through the house. She ran until she was outside, until she heard a scream that made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. It was a woman's scream; her mothers. Sofia wanted to go in, wanted to help her mommy and make sure she was okay, but she was too scared, and Katarina had told her not to go back in the house. She'd heard the words in her head Go. Run. Don't come back, and she did as she was told.

ƤєяѕσηαƖιту: Xavion is a very sweet, innocent young guy. With more of his mother in him, he has more of a shy attitude, not really good with social situations. He isn't the best at portraying what he feels, so many people don't realize what he feels. Due to his innocent nature, he is a bit oblivious to certain aspects of love and more mature topics. He is a bit of a weakling when it comes to physical fights, but holds strength behind his speeches.

He has his own world inside his mind that distracts him sometimes from the real world, making him confuse fantasy with reality sometimes which messes with his people skills. He isn't the stablest in the mind due to past scarring and it sometimes affects his way of life.



Hιѕтσяу: When Xavion was born, he was unwanted from the beginning. As an infant he was rejected by his own father and looked at sadly by his own mother, as if he brought up bitter memories. The only looks of love he received were from his elder brother, aged about six at the time of his infantry. Even if his brother did look at him with love, it was as if it was forced. As if his brother were another liability to have to deal with in trying to make it through life. Xavion never really fit in with his family. Progressing into his toddler years, he experienced a world of difference. Every little thing he did or said was scolded, 'disciplined', and looked down upon. It seemed like if he breathed a certain way he would get hit. It was also looked down upon if any form of tear was shed, whether they be from joy, fear, sorrow, etc. As he grew older, things got worse.

Xavion began to notice how aggressive his father was towards his brother. He thought he had it bad, yet he saw what his brother took. Cigar burns to the back of the neck, twice as many to protect his younger brother. Triple the whoopings, rude remarks, and just overall abuse. But his older brother was there to protect him, even if he did get the occasional hit, he didn't have it nearly as bad as his brother. One day he even witnessed his father in a drunken rage smash a bottle upside his brother's head, which nearly knocked his sibling out. Even so, his brother rose, accepted it with a polite, "Yes sir," and then went and cleaned up his head all while tucking him into bed.



As more time progressed, so did the severity of things. It went from bottles being smashed on heads to bats and full out tables. It went from whoopings to beating you so bad you were holding on to life by a few strings. His brother always took the worse of it, refusing to see a doctor or go to a hospital in the worst of situations just to make sure no money was 'wasted' as he said, as it was spent on food for their mother on himself. Xavion always worried about his brother's well-being, seeing as his brother took on both the punishments and assaults of their mother and Xavion. There was a short period of time where things calmed down, the only thing inflicted being harsh words. Then things went downhill.

There was a day when things were oddly calm, unlike anything Xavion had felt before. Their father had gone out on his own accord, not on a drunken rage or out of anger from the day. His mother and brother were in the kitchen discussing casual things, such as the weather or what was going on in the neighborhood. Just common things for a family to chat about, even if it was unlike their family. Xavion had been playing with a little toy car, rolling it on the counter away from the two of them so he wasn't being disruptive or disturbing to their conversation. It got to the point where their conversation was getting a bit out of hand. His brother was beginning to raise his voice about leaving, saying there was a better life for the three of them away from their father, that they would be safe if they joined the palace staff. That they wouldn't have to deal with anymore abuse, no more crying ourselves to sleep. His brother spoke of a better life which he personally thought sounded amazing. Yet their mother disagreed, speaking from a victim's point of view, saying that they were well cared for and loved, that they didn't need to move. This brought on an argument from his brother's side, saying he knew what that man, referring to father, did to her and that he had experienced the physical and emotional end of it. This argument got to the point of where Xavion was ripped up from where he was sitting by his brother and then was being lead outside. Then he was pulled back by his screaming mother, saying his brother couldn't take him anywhere. After a few more words being said, his brother left with words of hope. Saying he would return to them with a better life that they could join. That was the last day he saw his brother.

That's when his father came home. After his father knew about his brother's departure, things became a living hell. Everything his brother received, he received three times as much, plus what his mother endured. He would be forced to sit in his father's lap, slapped and hit to the point of swelling and permanent marks, to do things only the worst of women got paid to do. In order to protect his mother, he never told her. He never spoke a word about being thrown into walls and brutally beaten. He never uttered a peep about being shoved down on the floor, against the wall, on the counter, on his knees, in order to "relieve" his father. He breathed not one word to one soul of the amount of bottles that had been smashed upside his head. He never said anything to anyone about being mistaken for his mother due to his small, feminine figure by his father in a drunken state and given a treatment she would receive, similar to him 'relieving' his father. Nothing was spoken or said. He simply took it in hopes of being saved by his brother one day.



Three years of that treatment. Not one single notification, word, letter, or mention of his brother was ever brought up again. He was starving and hungry, trying to keep his mother from death due to her contracting an illness and the medicine costing almost all of the money he used to try and provide for the family. At a young age, he ended up travelling to the eighth caste in order to get money, selling his body in exchange for the smallest coin that could go to his mother's medicine or food for the table. His father never let up, getting progressively worse as his mother did. It got to the point that Xavion couldn't handle it and ended up leaving himself.

He knew it was wrong to leave his mother with that creep, but he had no choice. He couldn't do it anymore. Without anyone else in the world, he made it on his own. His innocence had been killed in those three years awaiting his brother. That gave a bitter remorse for his brother. Why would he leave their mother and himself for some palace? That brought more bitter feelings. The palace was too good for the lower castes, never giving them a chance. Spitting and pissing on them like they were trash. The palace that had taken his brother from him, left him alone in the hell he'd lived in. This brought up his hatred for the palace and higher castes as a whole. Thus his journey to the Southern Rebels.
