I have a lot more than just a little in the story.

I've been planning it for a while now, have at least a thousand pages of notes and pieces to insert into the story and key turn points and revelations and character development and stuff.

Starting over would mean losing ALL of that, all the hard work that I've put into it. THATS why I feel shitty.

Okay so I finished his history, but could you just look over it real quick and make sure I didn't get anything wrong?

They weren't insanely rich, only being Caste 3s at the time, but they ran a business that was large enough for them to live comfortably. Despite both his parents being very loving towards him, unfourtunately they were often out for most the day working at their family business, which left Damien alone with the teenage babysitter they hired. The babysiter wasn't terrible either to be entirely honest, but it wasn't unheard of for her to ignore Damien entirely, so for much of his childhood he was quite lonely. When his parents did come home though, Damien would shower them with attention and even presents, although they'd usually have to go to bed shortly afte they arrived.

Even later on though, when Damien was old enough to go to school and make friends, most of the people he met never really got very close, and most people eventually just lost interest in Damien. They said he was too clingy, but in reality that was just how Damien showed affection. When he liked someone, he liked to give them lots of gifts and especially attention, as the latter was among the things he'd love the most for himself, so he figured other people would like it too. However, there was one person who never drifted away from him, and that was his best friend Mateo. They had quickly become best friends after meeting each other one day, and after that they were easily the other's closest friend, both of them being the kind of kids who people drifted away from.

As they grew up, Damien got 4 younger siblings, all of whom he loved and played with, but he still always spent the most time with Mateo. They grew up together, supported each other when times were rough, and when they most needed a friend, thy were there for each other. Eventually they even left for the palace together, although each of them went for different jobs. This was about the point where Damien truly started realizing his feelings for Mateo, although he had honestly known about them for quite a while. But, in the end, after confessing Damien found that he wasn't the only one who felt that way, and so now Damien and Mateo have been dating for several months, although this whole dating thing is still kinda new for both of them. hey I has question, if someone wanted to be a gardener but is actually like a caste 3 or something would they drop castes or would they keep their parents caste? I was kinda hoping to keep him a caste 3 like his parents and like they arranged that job for him basically to keep him safe from himself?

um....well I have a private workshop where I work on my charries XD I'm super OCD about my charries sometimes and like to have them all in the same place and easy to get to so working on them in workshops, like super busy ones or ones with a lot of pages, drives me up the wall

see that's what I wasn't sure about, but no one had any issue with my twins being a high caste but being entertainers so I figured it would be the same thing? I'll prolly just ask a mod lol idk enough about the Selection to know for sure
