It's actually a fantastic plot twist. All these girls wishing for a crown and falling for a prince, and then he marries the Irish Prince?? It would be awesome, and a little bit problematic for the country bc citizens wouldn't be happy...but still awesome

Unless, as Sav brought up to me... What if he was sort of entwined with Cyrus but he was so loyal to his responsibilities that he did marry one of the girls, who he also loved. But then when his daughter is kidnapped by rebels, it destroys them and they get divorced (though he has three or four kids by then by her?) and he turns to Cyrus for comfort, who has sort of been a secret lover and confidant and Oliver finally tells him that he should have chosen Cyrus from the start, and marries Cyrus, and they raise the kids... and then he has heirs and all but he is also with Cyrus and stuff. Kind of like Zarin and Davios, in a way.

That's one possible option in many but idk. Or he does end up with Cyrus first and keeps one of the girls as a mistress to have kids? Idk. There's so many options for Oliver, omg.

We will! I swear. I've been slow on replies but really I just needed an inspiration booster and I think I definitely will be spending more time in this group and it'll work. Plus, eliminations have actually gone super fast. If you've noticed, almost half the Selected have been eliminated, I think.

I am just a firm believer that, if Oliver did divorce his wife over the child being kidnapped, he doesn't deserve a happy ending where he mother doesn't get the kids and she has to see them being raised by Oliver and his new man. She would take the children with her and leave, and it would force him to have more children, but then the oldest child he had with his wife would return and claim the throne and render his second lot of children pointless. He can't have a perfect ending like that. XP
