my mom found a nice bf who was there for me through the important parts of my life growing up, if any of those father/daughter dances had happened for me, he would have taken me without hesitation and it would have been awesome
I don't have a divorce story to tell because my mum has been widowed twice and I never knew my father. So yay! I think?
My parents have been happily married for about twelve years But then again I don't know my father and my mom was engaged before she met my non biological dad (who I do consider to be my dad cause my real dad sucks...)

Wait, we're talking about divorces and marriages? Uuuugh, don't even get me started on my situation. Long story short, I'd be better off if my parents got a divorce. Like, my dad isn't really my dad, just sort of there to pay for me?? Like, he seriously talks more with his various relatives over in Egypt then he does with me. My mom is awesome, but my dad is just like, ugh?? The only times he even bothers "complimenting" me is when he's in front of his friends, so yeah :/

Like, I absolutely love my mom completely, and she's like, one of the only reasons I don't punch my dad's face in. I have no idea how, but like, she still loves him I guess? Even though he treats his family like crap? Like, if someone so much as voices their opinion and it happens to conflict with his, he'll start out by explaining why their opinion is idiotic, and if they back up their opinion at all, he'll go into a screaming/swearing fit and avoid everybody for a few days, claiming that "We all just want his money". And then I'm just like, wtf else would we want from you? Literally all he ever gives us is money, discouragment, and some serious emotional abuse. And also, he seriously bans me from almost everything. I'm not even talking about a typical overprotective dad, he seriously just bans me from anything. One time when I was 11 he told me I couldn't read a book "Because it was too sad". It wasn't even like some absolutely miserable book or anything, it was just your typical main character is shunned by family kind of thing. Also, he yells at me and gives me a lecture seriously every time I even speak to a male between the ages of 10-20 around. Like, even his friend's son. HE DOESN'T LET ME TALK TO ANYBODY EVER, and then he expects me to not jump on the chance to talk to his friend's son who happens to be around my age. Also, he bans me from having friends with girls who even have brothers in case they come over to our house or if I ever see them at sai friend's house. Like, idek why he had children. He basically just needs slaves who's will and opinions he can bend whenever he wants.
