They saw the words she dared not speak reflected in her eyes. Aarav gasped for breath, but despite her best efforts, not enough oxygen was entering Aarav. It didn't take a genius to know she was dying. That's it Aarav. You can't buy bribe or cry out of this one. She thought, almost bitterly. Honestly, what had she even done to deserve living in the first place? Perhaps she was destined to be shot through by an arrow. Tear's began to well up in Aarav's eyes as the full impact of the situation began to take effect. "I can't die..." She felt like screaming, but only managed a sob filled whisper. "I'm tired of being strong... I don't want my mother and father to go away to act in movies!" She said a little louder. She knew she wasn't helping her situation, but these words needed to get out of her, these words that had plagued Aarav her entire life. "I want mommy and daddy to stay home and play with me..." She said, gasping for breath, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I don't-" Aarav coughed a small puddle of blood, and she knew she had to finish quickly. "I don't want your money, or your fame. I just... I just wanted you to love me!" She whispered hoarsely. The world began to grow black, and Aarav knew her time had come. "Is that too much to as-" A sob got caught in Aarav's throat, causing her suffocating lack of oxygen to worsen. "Thank you, my friends, for giving me the love I always wanted, but never deserved." Aarav vision blackened completely, and she smiled. "Thank you..." Those were the last words Aarav ever said.
