Kelly Archer is dragging her feet about marrying Tom Paoletti. Stan thinks she wants Tom to leave the SEALs; Tom thinks it’s about her money. What say you?

Tom is all Kelly has; she is alone except for him. I think she is scared that he will leave on a mission and not come home. Stan is right, she wants Tom to leave the Team, but isn't about to express that to him.

[Sharon]

I don't see Kelly as the type of woman who would hold off marriage until Tom quit the SEALS. She saw first hand how much it means to him.

Kelly was married before, and now she doesn't trust her feelings. Also, Tom's macho attitude of needing to provide everything doesn't help. Tom needs to step back and be equal partners.

It was interesting when Tom said he would do anything for Kelly, but he wouldn't allow her to put his name on her accounts. I think having them both on the bank accounts would help her feel secure, even if Tom never withdrawals a penny.

I’m on the fence about this one. You both may be right but Kelly was all in with this man at the end of their story. However, she was still tepid about marriage. It may have nothing to do with Tom but her own fears.

I can be swayed😏

You could be right, Jonetta. She didn't exactly have a happy family growing up and her father was definitely not the warm fuzzies kind of guy.

Perhaps they are both right.
Either way, I think this is something that Kelly needs to resolve for herself. Would she really want Tom if he were the kind of man to give up the job he loves and the principles he honors for her? If he did, he would not be the man she fell in love with.
