they're like, almost uncontained. the main palisades fire is ELEVEN PERCENT CONTAINED. thats not good. the fires are so bad even my relatives in india know about them

I remember a few months ago, we saw this house burn down in our neighborhood. It was under construction and uninhabited, thank god, but the whole second story was gone. It started of as a small flicker of flame, then five minutes later the whole thing was burning with twenty-foot pillars of fire. It was genuinely scary. Now, whenever I see the images of LA, I think about that house and then imagine what it would be like if all the houses were like that, people inside or not, and it hurts my heart. It's evil.

My friend's house burned down a couple years ago, it was awful. The whole community rallied around them and helped with meals and repairs but it was still super scary! Her whole family was fine and now their house is practically good as new!
