The conversation John writes down for Rune and them indicates that the Hanged Man had a different plan for Layne before he tried to run. I wonder what that was.

The meal with Lord Tower intrigues me. Is The Tower actively leaving crumbs for Rune to follow??? Also, Brand’s reaction to the mushrooms is pure gold.

Perhaps The Hanged Man was looking to court Layne before he ran away although I’m not sure.

I love how angry Addam got when Rune told him what Tower said. And I don't blame him, especially with Tower mentioning Quinn, as I don't get the feeling Tower really thinks all that much about Quinn...

Also, sometimes I feel like Addam should take over the Crusader Throne. He seems to understand the concept of Justice more than his mom.

Let's be honest: Mayan knows way more about what's going on than Lord Tower does. Tower only knows what Mayan allows him to know. The question is: does Tower know this?

Unfortunately, justice is by and large exactly as she describes it. It can't do much before the act, but it's fairly efficient at meting out punishment once the damage is done. And sometimes, not even then.

I'm betting on either a) 'marrying' him, or b) investigating his immolation magic. Possibly both? We know the Hanged Man was interested in Layne's necromancy, it makes sense that that would have been a part of it at least.

I hope we get to see more of Christian and that he turns out to be amazing, because otherwise I'm gonna be rooting for Addam to stage a coup.
