Their relationship seems to be going smoothly. They're both taking their time and making time for each other. I didn't think it was a good idea when Tracy was worried about losing her job and told Dan that she may move back to her hometown where he lives. I don't think she should get his hopes up until the decision was made. He is now running second to her job as a detective in Seattle.
I like how they’re managing things. They’re respectful of each other’s careers and time, committed to the give and take. Things seem promising for them.
Robin, Tracy made those comments when she though she was facing dismissal and Dan heard them in the right context, knowing that wasn’t what she Ealy wanted to do. I’m really liking this guy.

I like their relationship. It is a mature relationship. I love how Dan knows Tracy's heart. He knew that moving home wasn't her first choice, but I believe it touched his heart that she considered the move. What surprised and confused me was that Dan wouldn't use Tracy's codes to get in the house and didn't give Tracy a key to his house. I thought they were more secure in their relationship when the last book ended.
I too, like how they are managing juggling the distance and their careers as well as a relationship.
