Stephanie Plum's latest FTA (failure to appear) is a dangerous computer hacker known as Oswald Wednesday. What makes Oswald so dangerous is that he has ventured out into other criminal realms, namely murder. He is in Trenton to track down a group of hackers who call themselves the "Baked Potatoes" and he is systematically executing them one by one because they had successfully hacked his system for a short while. No one hacks the hacker! Stephanie has an abundance of riches in this installment of the series: 3 hunky men - Morelli, Ranger and Diesel. What's a girl to do? Diesel is also searching for Oswald and partnering with Stephanie seems like the best plan. A great plan indeed until cars become bonfires, stray shots are fired and the two surviving Potatoes become guests of Stephanie's parents. Stephanie and the always well-dressed (!) Lula become pawns in a murderously dangerous game.
This was a fun one with a lot of humor and crazy situations. Despite this being book #28, I still look forward to the next one.
