Naming System [ (view spoiler)[Wolves in the Running Pack are named after their appearances when they're born, and as they grow older they ready themselves for their training. When a pup begins its training, the Alphas and the pup's parents get together to discuss the pup's most apparent attribute. The pup is then named after that attribute, attributes can consist of personality traits, physical appearances, or remarkable features.
After a pup has completed its training and is ready to become ranked, depending on the rank, the pup will get the second part of its name. This second part will portray what it was that made the Alpha rank this wolf in its rank and will be personal to the newly ranked wolf.
An example is how Fierce Howl's name when he was first born was Storm. He was named Storm because of his gray fur. When he started his training, he was named Fierce, because he had a Fierce personality, when he was ranked, he was ranked as a Fighter and named Fierce Howl because of his intimidating voice. Pack Habits [ (view spoiler)[Wolves of the Running Pack are known for their lean yet muscular builds and fear-inducing voices. Running Pack wolves are strong and sturdy while also being agile and fast-paced, pups born into this pack are naturally hyper and have a need to be active, once they can move, they rarely stop. Running Pack wolves are laidback but careful, they know not everything is a threat but they are still cautious, knowing not to underestimate things.
The Running Pack inhabits the far side of the moor, away and out of WindClan's territory where a dip in the moor creates a valley-like area, though it doesn't go back up. These wolves hunt mountain hares, shrews, voles, weasels, stoats, and sometimes small foxes, or fox kits. They use any herbs that they can find and even sometimes steal from twoleg gardens and farms.
Running Pack wolves, despite all the members being referred to as wolves, aren't all wolves. Both dogs and wolves are born into this pack and are equal to each other due to all being raised the same way and in the same environment. (hide spoiler)] ]

History

[ Storm was born the only male of his mother's litter, Cloud and Rain were more Gentle Song's priority than he was once he was older. Storm was still fed and cared for, but the raising part was on his father. Storm didn't exactly hate his father, but Strong Snap wasn't as, well, gentle, as Gentle Song.
When Storm was nearing his training, he would overhear Gentle Song recommending names to Strong Snap and he would hear the male give a snarky remark on how he should be Incompetent or Stupid, but thanks to Gentle Song, he was given the name Fierce.
As he grew in his training, Loud Call would always report how good Fierce was at almost everything. Hunting was easy for him, since that's what his breed was bred for, running and climbing were kitten's play to him, but Loud Call was a fighter, and so that's what he trained Fierce for, and that's what he became.
Fierce was named Fierce Howl in honor of Loud Call and Fierce's menacing voice, he became a fighter and would join Loud Call on patrols and would fight by his side whenever there was a border skirmish.
Fierce Howl eventually grew bored of his life, he didn't like how the alpha didn't take action when the pack was constantly on edge due to threats of being run from their home, so he challenged the old alpha to a fight for his rank, and he won, ending up with the old alpha surrendering. ]
