Question RE: e-book/Kindle ACEs

Just a quick question regarding how alternate covers for Kindle books and ebooks are handled. We all know that sometimes a publisher will update a digital book's cover for one reason or another, so my question was: is this handled by updating the original book listing's cover image, or is a new edition marked ACE created? Asking because I don't think I've ever seen an ACE for ebooks or Kindle books.

They are handled the same way as physical books, by using the ACE link to make a new alternate cover edition.

Afaik, this link isn't visible to non-Librarian members.

If you have found covers that were incorrectly updated to a newer version (with the old cover deleted), you can post them in this group with a request to restore the original cover art. It's often fairly quick and easy for us to do.
