'Compare Books' Feature

Do you ever use the compare books feature to see how similar your tastes are with someone else's? I think this is a fun feature!

Just checked a few and my tastes are:
92% similar with Vikki
95% similar with Monica
and 96% similar with Holli
(which explains why we all seem to like the same books!)

It's nice to use when trying to decide a book to read, but sometimes I add a bunch to my TBR list just from looking at others lists!

Yes, Cindy, I really like that feature of Goodreads and have used it several times.

Okay. Funny story... I was on my own profile and it shows the compare books feature, so I was thinking, Why Not? It can't be as bad as asking myself to be my friend so lets see how accurate this thing really is! So it shows me "You and yourself have 1062 books (or 100% of your library and 100% of her library) in common. Your tastes for those 1062 ratings are 100% similar. Here are 100 books you have in common: "

Funny thing is....my ratings are different on a few books. How does that work??!?!?

Brenda, We are 90% similar! We have 81 books in common, 15.9% of my books and 12.3% of your books. I noticed we both liked Clan of the Cave Bear! It's been years since I read this book, I should probably re-read it! Did you read the next ones in this series or only this one?
