Praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery! Oh, and happy anniversary a few days early! 🙏🤗💖🍾🥂

Finished my second, and still not liking Liza’s personality. I’m wondering if part of that is the accent the narrator gives her. Some other regular characters are developing well.
I have so many TBR books already, I’m not sure whether I’ll continue this series.

Marianne - Sending wishes for healing and a return to health for your husband. I hope the surgery goes well. It's not how you planned to spend your anniversary, but you can celebrate healing.
Remember to be gentle and kind to your self, too. Escaping into a light cozy read helps you relax. It's something to do during all that time you have to spend waiting.

I read the first two in the Southern Sewing Circle mystery series by Elizabeth Lynn Casey - Sew Deadly & Death Threads. I enjoyed them both. I like the characters, including the Southern belles in the Sewing Circle. The author conveys the culture of a small southern town. Fun to visit and remember. Both mysteries were good. Even though I figured out Death Threads, I enjoyed the twists.
Glad this challenge got me started on this fun series. Thanks for the pick, Linda R.
