For those of you currently working the challenge, you are welcome to move your latest update there if you like, but it is not required. If you prefer to leave your challenge in the old thread, you are welcome to do so. You are welcome to post all new updates here, as well as your finished challenge. Please note: in order to avoid confusion, the old thread will now be closed to new comments, but you will still be able to update your original post.
LIST OF FLAVORS:
The flavors will be divided into four lists below:
List #1:
Current Flavors for those new to the challenge. **This is an updated Current Flavors list posted by Cherie as of July 2017. Please note: there are 7 new flavors which will be indicated in bold print. There are 50 flavors total, 842 total letters.
List #2:
Retired Flavors for those new to the challenge. **This is an updated Retired Flavors list posted by Cherie as of July 2017. Please note: there are 6 new flavors added to the retired list which will be indicated in bold print. There are 34 flavors, 484 total letters.
List #3:
Current Flavors for those already working on the challenge. **This the original Current Flavors list posted by Cherie in 2012. There are 43 flavors, 617 total letters
List #4:
Retired Flavors for those already working on the challenge. **This is the original Retired Flavors list posted by Cherie in 2012. There are 50 flavors, 811 total letters.
Special Note for those wishing to do a combined list:
For myself, as well as others who may be interested, I have prepared a spreadsheet that combines the names of all Current Flavors (from both lists) and the names of all Retired Flavors (from both lists). If interested, you may find the lists here .

This challenge is original to SCC!
However, the inspiration for this challenge comes from southpaw285's Crazy Chocolate Challenge from Crazy Challenge Connection and Dawn (Kat N Hat)'s BeanBoozled Challenge from The Lost Challenges.
Duration Level 1: Years and Years
Duration Level 2: Until the apocalypse
Duration Level 3: Finish? Ha Ha!
I love love love Ben & Jerry's! I don't know if it's available to all of you but if you can't get it you're missing out!
The idea of this challenge is to spell out every flavor of Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
Level 1: Using the Current Flavors list, spell out every flavor
Level 2: Using the Flavor Graveyard list, spell out every flavor
Level 3: Spell out both lists. You must either be a Ben & Jerry's fanatic, or completely nuts!

Since this is such a long challenge, you may use each book twice. Once for the title, and a second time for the author.
You can work one flavor at a time, or all of them at once. It's up to you.
Reserving Space:
Because this is such a long challenge, you may want to reserve lots of space when you sign up in order to keep your working challenge all together. Approximately 100 books will fit into each post. If you want to play it safe, allow 75 books per post. The number of letters for each list above have been provided to help you calculate the needed space
