Who do you think will be the deputy of Squirrelflight if she becomes leader?
Ivypool: Let's face it, she's great. She was most of the reason they managed to defeat the dark forest in the first place, and she honestly has the right skills for the job, not to mention she's been one of our main character's before, if we're keeping the trend of main characters being leader.
Blossomfall: She's been through so much in the past, and still manages to be one of the best warriors around, honestly I can't think of more then two cats who'd be a better option.
Cinderheart: Cinderheart is a cat who was in the frontlines of the books for two arcs (maybe more, I haven't read A vision of Shadows yet), she was Lionblaze's mate, Hollyleaf's best friend, had her time in the medicine cat's den, had us all focusing on her because she was Cinderpelt, and mentored Ivypool. And her personality and determination has always been great.
Brightheart: Least likely, but I really hope it's her. She's fucking great. We all know why. She deserves it so much.

I don't know who I would choose as Squirrelflight's deputy, and I hope she doesn't die because she is great. Even though I really liked Firestar as leader, I hope Bramblestar doesn't die either, because I don't wish that on him, so I haven't really thought about it that much.
Okay, I honestly do not know. And since (if you read the manga part), {SPOILERS} she's having kits, I really don't know. Sadly, I've thought of this myself before The Apprentice's Quest came out. I didn't really know, because next thing you know, Bramblestar could be picking out a new deputy due to... Squirrelflight heading up to StarClan to see her father once again.
Erin Hunter confirmed that squrrilflight will become an elder or die and not become a leader.
If she could I think Brackenfur needs his chance to shine.
I think she would choose Sparkpelt or Lionblaze... maybe Ivypool
