a b i g a i l | 0 comments I listen to pretty much anything, mainly slower/calmer songs like- hmm something like (YES-DEMIAN) or (HAPPIER-ED SHEERAN) .. pretty much depends on what i’m feeling in that moment or can focus with!?

message 52: by Sammy (new)

Sammy j | 4 comments No I can’t concentrate if I listen to music at the same time

message 53: by Lina (new)

Lina | 8 comments i always listen to music when i read. i make a new playlist for every book/series i begin and just kinda find songs that remind me of the book and it’s characters.

message 54: by Britt (new)

Britt | 11 comments I need complete silence when I read or else I get pulled out of the story

message 55: by Alicja (new)

Alicja | 3 comments Only soundtracks or ambient or something that doesn't have lyrics. I get too distracted otherwise. Used to listen while reading more in the past, haven't done it as much recently for some reason

message 56: by Emilya (new)

Emilya | 3 comments I like to listen to classical or soundtrack music because I can't focus if there are lyrics :'(

Aditi ~ readwaditi (readwaditi) Don’t have enough focus to hear songs while reading

message 58: by Hope Hetrick (new)

Hope Hetrick Sometimes. It’s either lullabies or chill music turned way down.

˚₊‧⁀➷Chadlotte˚₊‧⁀➷ BANANA LECLERC sometimes! it really depends on the song. If I really like the song then I might focus too much on it but otherwise yeah! I can also go without it too

message 60: by Jenna :) (new)

Jenna :) | 30 comments I like to when I’m around noise or in public. Taylor Swift is perfect for it

message 61: by [deleted user] (new)

No, can't always focus very well even without it (ADHD probably lol) so I don't usually listen to music.

message 62: by Athena (new)

Athena | 7 comments I used to listen to music to drown out noise, and now it kinda became a habit, I especially love hype music, but if the book is complicated I don't listen

message 63: by Iriinesia ♡ (new)

Iriinesia ♡ (iriinesia) | 188 comments No. I have one problem: I want to sing or focus in the music. Because (I think we put relax or classical music) I have another problem and it is I love Classical music too so I can't focus.
So I just read with out.

message 64: by [deleted user] (new)

I never do, it's too distracting to the book I just end up singing along. Tho I do have a playlist I play when I have a "I need to throw something" moment bc of something that happened lol

message 65: by Kai (new)

Kai | 2 comments Yeah, I listen to lofi beats on yt

message 66: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccamontgomery) I get too distracted and end up listening to the music more than reading. I need it to be pretty quiet when I read, or I have a hard time focusing on the book.

message 67: by Irene (new)

Irene | 6 comments I sometimes hum while reading and if people are talking thats fine too. But if someone starts singing or plays a song that i know i get distracted.

message 68: by Scarlet (new)

Scarlet I go to YouTube and look up "[enter book name] Playlist"

If I find a song I like I can add it to my person Playlist later!

message 69: by Lizzie (new)

Lizzie Sometimes

message 70: by Anett.A.T^.^ (new)

Anett.A.T^.^ | 7 comments I would love to but I cannot...weirdly enough, I am not bothered if people talk around me while I read or even if someone's watching a movie or anything like that, yet I cannot focus when music is playing (๑•﹏•)

message 71: by Dragoness (new)

Dragoness | 27 comments Once in a blue moon, I do play wordless music matching with the theme of the book I am reading, with very low volume.

InheritanceGamesRules | 39 comments Sofie wrote: "sometimes but if i do its on veryyy low volume"

Yes otherwise i cant focus because i'm jamming out

message 73: by Tasha (new)

Tasha No or I'll sing the songs

InheritanceGamesRules | 39 comments Tasha wrote: "No or I'll sing the songs"

cali | 1 comments Scarlet wrote: "I go to YouTube and look up "[enter book name] Playlist"

Same I did this when I read Forth Wing and I loved it. Before I used to only listen to lofi.

message 76: by Ikbal (new)

Ikbal | 2 comments No, because I imagine and listen to the lyrics if i am listening music EXCEPT classical music, but that only works for some books like the secret history, Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky etc. because I am not gonna read cutesy romance books with a depressing background.

message 77: by Veronika (new)

Veronika Križanová sometimes but it's funny when you are reading some sad scene and some happy music starts to play

message 78: by Kasi (new)

Kasi | 67 comments Yes

message 79: by Jenna :) (new)

Jenna :) | 30 comments If I’m in public or around noise then yes

message 80: by Robert (new)

Robert Borders | 5 comments I have a playlist for when I write, but when I read I need quiet. Unless it's a kid's show. 90 percent of that is just white noise anyway.

Noel ◇JUJUTSU. KAISEN. IS. COMING. BACK.◇ (noel4444) | 34 comments I make a playlist for every book I read
: )

message 82: by Abby (new)

Abby Sheridan (abbysheridan13) | 2 comments I actually didn't use to because I felt I couldn't focus but now I listen to sad chill music on very low volume when I read normally!
