MitekPapilio | 375 comments Hi,

i deleted 2 editions but two of them are more than 5 reviews.

May you merge these editions. They are the same books.

and after re-combine with this original edition.

Renske | 12220 comments I looked at the covers you replaced, they had different covers? As you didn't leave a change comment, what is the reason you replaced them?

In Türkiye, Covers changes with 3 ways.

1- Publisher changes., and we use for this alternate cover edition button, no problem.
2- Booksellers pastes papers, this is print count papers. shows bestseller.
3- Web booksellers, publish their logo on book covers on the web. Like this,

https://www.eganba.com/ben-kitabi-ali...

Do you see the eganba word on the cover ? eganba is booksellers name.

I changed the book the Boleyn Girl for second reason. İ think there was yellow paper. And changed original cover. Because of this i dont need to add comment.

Thanks.

Scott | 8628 comments ANY changes require an alternate cover edition. We never just delete and replace.

No alternate cover. İt is the false cover adding.

Scott | 8628 comments #3 would be a valid reason for replacing the cover, but it should be with an identical cover (without watermark).

Renske | 12220 comments And there should be a change comment when replacing a cover. It can just be as short as 'Image with bookseller logo replaced with same cover from library' or 'better image of same cover from publisher website' which are versions I use quite often myself. It just helps the next librarian to understand why it was done, as indeed the rule is we don't replace covers unless one of the valid exceptions applies.
