I enjoy the humour of this author. Makes his characters seem real

I do think Ash is more of a really bad guy than someone from a law enforcement background and for me, that makes him somewhat unbelievable

Agree. I do like MacBride as an author but this one was just too violent for me.

I do like Alice, "my favourite looney-tunes character", tho
