End (view spoiler)[ This book left me sad :( Thomas couldn't come back, Matthew died, and the demon creature thing is still alive on the other side of the wall. Will Olivia waste away eventually too? Plus she now can't ever leaver because a Prior has to guard the gate.

I'm okay with books that don't end happy, but I at least wish there was a sequel where Olivia could seal the gate permanently (hide spoiler)]
