Melinda- I nod against his shoulder. "Yeah it was...what was your favorite part?" I ask not moving yet, getting the feeling he didn't really want to move yet either.
Eli- I accidentally move my arm to hold her closer to her. "I don't know. I liked all of it," I say to her.

Melinda- I didn't protest as I felt him pull me a little closer than what I already was. Rather it was on peruse or accidental I didn't really mind. Smiling at his answer, "Yeah, the whole thing was good.."
Eli- I look down at her and smile thinking that we have a lot of things in common. Then I grab the remote to exit out of the movie since it went back to the menu screen.

Melinda- I smile at him, before he ejects the disk. looking over when he ejects it sense it made a weird sound.

Eli- I sit back on the couch and I look at the couch. I see that it is getting late so I ask her, "Should you go home? Its getting late."

Melinda- I frown looking at the time on the dvd players clock. Almost 9. Wow, it was almost 9 already?? it still felt so early to me. Maybe because I was used to staying up so late on hunting nights. "Wow, I can't believe it's almost 9 already.... it still feels early."
Eli- "I know. I was surprised too when I saw the clock," I say to her agreeing. I stand up to stretch since my back was sore from sitting.

Melinda- I stretch my arms before I stand up and start stretching my legs out. After so much of sitting I'd gotten stiff.
Eli- "Do you want me to drive you home?" I offer to her since she didn't have her car here and it was too dark out to walk.

Eli- I nod and realize that it would be the perfect time to ask her. "Can the next time be a date?" I say asking her out.

Melinda- I was a little surprised that he asked. I mean I think the rules about hunting are stupid. expectantly the one's that state that you cant date your partner for.... safety reasons... but as long as no one found out. And we kept it quite... I didn't see any harm in agreeing. Nodding my head. "Yeah, that would be nice.."
Eli- I smiled widely at her glad that she had said yes because I didn't want it to wreck our friendship or job. I say, "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow?"

Melinda- I unlock the door then walk in, and stop. Something felt off.. not like you just realize your alone off. Off as in something or someone was in the house with me.
Eli- I drive home thinking about Melinda and how I was going to have to wait see her until tomorrow.

Melinda- I slowly walk the short leight to the living room, picking up the baseball bat I always left in the unbralla stand. Calling a "Hello....?" Out to them to let them knew they were here.
Eli- I pull up into the my driveway and get out. I go into my house and say that I would call her later to tell her goodnight. I go inside my house and get a quick shower before going into my bedroom.

Melinda- I listen but don't hear anything. Trying to listen harder. But still couldn't. Changing tackiest call out "I know your here! You might as well come out!"
Eli- I pick up my phone and dial her number ready to say goodnight. I wait for her to pick up but she doesn't. I get a strange feeling and decide to wait a few minutes and call her. Maybe she couldn't get to it, I think.

Melinda- I jump when it appears right in front of me. Knowing it was a big mistake on my part as soon as I did. It wasn't one of the nice one's that was for sure. Studying it, looking it up and down before looking back at it's face. Then backing up a few steeps when I finally realize what it was. It wasn't a ghost--- it wasn't even one of those really bad ghosts that you didn't want to run into in a dark ally. No. It was way, way, way, WAY worse than that ever was. This. Was a demon.
Eli- I call her again and when she doesn't pick up, I know something is wrong. I grab a jacket and the keys and go downstairs. I get into my car and drive fast back to her house. I get there in a few minutes and I quickly stop the car. I get out and walk to her front door. I knock and try the door knob. It was open so I go in and immediately see Melinda and whatever is in front of her. I have never seen it before so have no idea what to do.

Melinda- Oh god... if I didn't do something soon, it was going to kill me. I could feel it. Hearing the door swing open again not wanting to risk looking back to see what or Who it was. Hopefully this thing didn't somehow call it's friends and tell them to come in. If it did, I was totally and completely Screwed. With a Captual 'S'. Finally bringing the bat up a little bit hoping it didn't catch the movement. Then swing and try to hit it in the face. It didn't work. It just vanished. Starting to spin around looking for it widely. Seeing that Eli had come back... Why? I hadn't even heard him pull up or the phone ring. Feeling my eyes widen just a bit at his being here. Deciding that if this thing wanted me dead it wasn't going to get me tonight. Saying "Run!" Starting for the door.
Eli- I see her swing the bat and I immediately move backwards in case she swung it around. I was confused when it disappeared but saw Melinda look at me and say "Run." That was the most beautiful word right then. I threw open the door and ran outside back to my car with Melinda at my heels. I was able to open the door quickly, unlike all of those horror movies where no one can, and start the car. When she gets in, I drive away from her house fast and pull out into the street. Then, I start driving to my house. "Are you okay?" I ask now starting to feel myself shaking.

Melinda- When I'd ran out of the house I didn't even bother locking it. Knowing it wouldn't do any good if it wanted out. It didn't have to unlock doors to get out, it could just poof to were ever it wanted to go and that was it. Hopping in the car as soon as the door was opened. Feeling myself once we were almost a block away from the house start shaking. Faintly hearing him asking me if I was okay.----- Was I okay? Yeah I guess... in the physical state at least. The minteal one though was--- well not so grate at the moment. "Yeah---- I think so."
Eli- I nod still trying to process what I had just seen. I kept driving trying to calm myself down. Finally, I got my breathing down to what passed for normal and got my hands to only shake once every minute. I focus on the road hoping that that would take away the image of that thing in her house since it was etched into my memory. When I see my house I breath out a sigh of relief and I pull in. I stop the car and sit there for a minute before getting out. I close my door and go to unlock my front door. I wait for Melinda before walking in.

Melinda- After he got out of the car, I sat there for a moment still shaking before calming down enough to get out. Walking to the door, to fallow him in. Going straight to the living room and sinking down on the coach. Not knowing what to say.
Eli- I follow her and sit down on the couch beside her. I think back at how we were just on the couch a little bit ago not knowing that any of this was going to happen. I sit down on the couch not saying anything.

Melinda- I let my head drop, resting my face in my hands. How could this of happened. It just didn't make sense. Hunter's houses were suppose to be protected by supernatural things. But somehow mine had become unprotected. How? Why?
