Tristan ignored her eyebrow raising and skepticism in case that made him seem like he really was lying. Instead he shrugged. "I can be clumsy sometimes," he said acting as if it pained him to say it, which it did a little. He finally made eye contact with her confident that she wouldn't be able to tell he was lying. He would tell her the truth sooner than later anyway. "So. I really want to get out of here. I wonder if I ask the doctor he'll let me," he said thinking aloud. Maybe he could get the doctor to release them.

Tristan lifted the corner of mouth mischievously. "I can be very persuasive," he said. Right then, as if on cue, the doctor walked in and was headed over to Savannah's side of the room. "Excuse me. Yes I need to ask you something," he said motioning for the confused doctor to come over to him. As he was walking, Tristan was doing the spell to almost hypnotize the doctor. "Hi. I was wondering if we could get let out. Now," Tristan said. The doctor looked down at his notes and was going to say no before sighing. "Of course. There is no need to stay. I'll discharge you too," he said.

Tristan just smiled and looked over at Savannah as if to say 'See? Persuasive' before he turned back to the doctor who was getting off of the computer. "I just discharged both of you so you are free to go," he said and then left the room. Tristan got off of the bed and was stable as he got up. He went to Savannah's bed. "Need help?" he offered. Since he had been wearing normal clothing, he didn't need to get changed but he wasn't sure if Savannah had clothes to change into.

"Sure," Tristan said quickly. He walked over to the closet and grabbed the outfit that was in there. He saw her holding the her head and he frowned. "Are you okay?" he asked as he walked back to the bed. He didn't think that she would still be bothered by anything since she would have healed by now. He rested the clothes on the bed as he looked over her with concern.

"Oh okay. I thought for a minute that the smoke had bothered you more than I thought," Tristan said with relief. "Do you want me to go into the bathroom when you change or do you want to go in there?" he asked wanting to give her privacy.

"Oh okay. That happens to me sometimes. I just didn't want to leave here if you really were sick," Tristan said. He nodded and said, "Of course. You come get me when you're done." He walked over to the bathroom and shut the door behind him. Tristan pretty much stood there admiring the bland bathroom.

Tristan heard her and quickly opened the door. "Good. So your all set?" he asked checking the room to make sure that he had everything. Seeing he did, he clasped his hands together and matched the pointer fingers to his lower lips. He was slightly nervous to if they were just going to be able to leave the hospital. They should be able to since he had gotten the doctor to release them. It might just be better if they teleport them to his house so no else will see them.

"Yeah this was what I was wearing when I came in so its all I have," he said with a nod. He decided on teleporting so he was just going to distract her so he could grab her hand before doing it. "Hey, who's that?" he asked pointing to the door. It was fairly obvious that it was trying to be a distraction but he held her hand and quickly teleported them to his house in a remote mountain. They landed on the front step but it wasn't cold since he had put a spell around the house to keep it regular temperature.

Tristan smiled nervously. "I teleported us here to one of my houses," he said trying to sound casual. He wasn't sure how it came out since he didn't really know how to tell someone this. He had never told any human that he was a wizard. "I'll tell you more about it inside," he said. He opened the door and it opened up to a seemingly larger house than how it appeared from the outside. It was kind of modern looking and it had a lot of white and silver but it somehow looked homey.

Tristan went into the large kitchen and asked, "Do you want anything?" He leaned against the counter and motioned that she could sit at one of the stools next to the island. "I used magic to teleport us and it is obviously real. I'm a wizard so I'm able to do other magic besides teleporting as well," he said. He tried to make it sound casual hoping that it would make her believe him more and for her to calm down. Being inexperienced in telling others about magic, he didn't really know how to say it. So he said it outright.

Savannah nodded slowly making a 'uh-huh' sound. Going over and sitting down on one of the bar stools he'd waved at. "Uh--- some milk if you have it." She said seeing as she'd had enough water for the next week. Taking that in, still not believing it. "So...... let me get this straight-- you do magic and it's just not something someone made up and started putting it in movies and shows and everything else. Does anyone else do it? I mean they'd have to right? Unless you just went to the book store one day and picked up one of those weird witch books and learned how too all by your self like one of those 'how too' books."
((its okay it happens to me a lot))
Tristan nodded going to the cabinet. Once he had a cup, he poured the milk into the glass. Turning around he walked to the island in front of her and set her glass down. "Yep I do and I like it. No its fake. There is also a grain of truth in the myths. Isn't that the phrase?" he asked himself thinking. Shrugging, "There are others like me. I was taught by my parents when they were still around. I don't think that I could have used a "Magic for Dummies" if that's what you're asking. I wasn't that good in the beginning."

Savannah picked the glass up and took a sip as she listened to him. Yeah, she'd been talking about a 'magic for dummies' seeing as they seemed to have everything else in those books. She'd even used one; one time to repair the drain in her kitchen. Shrugging seeing as she'd never heard of that phrase before. Although then again- she'd always thought magic was just a myth and not real either until a few minutes ago. "Yeah, that was what I was asking.Okay, so--- what? You come from a long line of wizards and witches or something?"
((that's good (: ))
Tristan leaned back on the counter so he was facing her again. He nodded before saying, "Yeah I did come from a long line of wizards. My parents were and their parents and so on. My family would occasionally marry humans so the magic so still very strong."

Tristan knew that he was going to have to tell her that she was like him soon and listening to her confirmed it. "You'll get used to this soon enough," he started before sighing. "You know how they said that they couldn't find the source of the fire? Sometimes magic, when uncontrolled, takes the form of the elements, like fire. That is what happened. Your magic started the fire," he said slowly saying that she wasn't just a human anymore.

Tristan saw her shock of hearing that and he knew that she should have eased her into that more somehow. He didn't really know how but he could have figured it out. "You didn't need to be fully awake for that to happen. Your powers might have just come in while you were asleep. They could have also been there but flared and burst out causing the fire. You might not have had anything to do with it but your powers did," Tristan said.

((sorry!))
Tristan nodded. "I'm sure they were. Its not always directly hereditary. A past relative could have had it or it could just be you. Magic is weird that way but you do have magic," he said calmly and slowly. He took a step closer to her hoping that maybe she would start to believe him.

There was no way he could be right.. the fire had been a freak accident. Nothing more. Even if she had; had that dream about the fire the same night it happened. It hadn't been anything but that. Just a dream. Nothing more. Knowing she should back away from him, try and run away.. do something! But she didn't. She just stood there as he came closer to her. "That doesn't make any sense, how could I be the only one in the whole family that has it? Why would I have it?! I'm nothing special, I'm like every other human being out there. I go to school, at the same time every day, go home help with dinner and chores... go to bed on time. It doesn't make sense. Why me?"
((Hi!))
Tristan said, "I know what you're talking about. I totally understand. Sometimes this happens. I'm not really sure why there is one person in a family that gets powers. Maybe its fate. I don't know. But you did get it. You are now making up a group of people who have been hidden for as long as there were humans. So you are special now, different from other humans. But that doesn't mean that you still aren't you. You are still the girl who will willingly cook for random people." He smiled at the last part trying to her to cheer up.

"That's better than me. The only that I know I won't mess up is cereal. And I occasionally spill the milk," Tristan said jokingly. He was glad to see her smiling since he had just started a very...different conversation with her that sounded impossible and crazy. Realizing that he hadn't seen her happy like that, he was determined to keep her smiling.

Tristan nodded. "Sounds like a good plan to me," he said with a smile back. He knew that he should drop the subject of her being a witch for now since it was a lot to take in at once. Tristan stretched a little and said, "Why don't you sit and I'll magically cook us something? That way we'll be safe eating it."

Tristan shook his head. "No, I should have thought about that. I totally understand. Would you like some help?" he asked her. He had forgotten how new this was to her so him just using magic probably wouldn't help her.

Tristan smiled at her. He went over to the fridge and opened it up. "What do you feel like eating?" he asked. His voice was muffled slightly since he was leaning into the fridge. He had some left overs but they could always make something fresh.

((sorry))
Tristan nodded without hitting her in the face seeing as she was pretty close. "Sure that sounds good," he said while grabbing the meat package out of the fridge. He walked to the stove and put the meat in the pan so it would start to cook.

Tristan saw that she was ready and he leaned back against the stove so he was kind of facing her. He crossed his arms in front of him and looked over at her. He looked over her face quickly to see if she was okay since he was still a little worried about her.

Tristan could tell, even without using his magic, that she was starting to get upset. Usually he would have to use a spell to make him hear their thoughts or read their feelings, but he could practically see the gears moving in her head. He furrowed his eye brows and pushed himself away from the counter. With a step, he crossed the space between them and was at her side. Hesitantly, he put his arm around her shoulder and side hugged her. Tristan said quietly, "Its not your fault. Don't keep telling yourself it is, you're just going to feel guilty for something you didn't mean to do."

((so sorry. I forgot about this))
Tristan sighed. "It might not have been you. There's no proof if it was. For all we know, it could have been bad luck. But if it was, how would you and your parents even be able to see what was showing up? None of you knew about magic or possibly being a witch so you wouldn't have known to look for it," he said calmly. Tristan knew that this was hard for her but processing everything would be better if she didn't hold the blame against herself.

She couldn't disagree with him there. Because they hadn't known about magic or about witch's and warlocks. Yesterday she had thought the only magic was from the Harry Potter movies and witch's and warlocks were just things people made up. And so had her parents. So they had; had no way of knowing or even seeing if it was showing up. Only he would and she hadn't known him until yesterday evening. And as much as she wished she could go back and change things.. save her parents, know what was going to happen.. she couldn't. She might be a witch but she knew time travel was impossible. Letting out a deep breath nodding her head finally.
