Quick question - do we claim prompts like with the quarterly new year challenge so one person handles each prompt for the offer or is the goal that we all individually fill as many prompts per author as we can?
Kade wrote: "Quick question - do we claim prompts like with the quarterly new year challenge so one person handles each prompt for the offer or is the goal that we all individually fill as many prompts per auth..."no it doesn't matter for this one. What you want to do is pick an author you want to win and get as many prompts for them so they're not eliminated. I'm planning to put as much of my stuff into Aiden Thomas, Xiran Jay Zhao and Tracy Deonn

Probably a dumb question but I want to be sure. Each prompt can only be filled once per the entire challenge, Rivht? Or is it once per week? L. For example - if I fill all of Stephen kings prompts in week one, I cannot fill any of them again in week 3, correct?
Also - for the brackets, if no books are read for either author in that week, do both move on?And if I finish a book tomorrow, it counts towards week one, right? So does the week start technically on Monday for new weeks?
Kade wrote: "Probably a dumb question but I want to be sure. Each prompt can only be filled once per the entire challenge, Rivht? Or is it once per week? L. For example - if I fill all of Stephen kings prompts ..."No you can fill them all whenever you want until that author is eliminated.
So first week: all prompts available. After the first week, if Stephen King (example) is eliminated, his prompts are no longer available to be used for the rest of the challenge

Once I complete an author’s prompts, I have to move on to a new author and prompts? Or can I repeat his prompts as often as I want just with new books?
Kade wrote: "Andy wrote: "Kade wrote: "Probably a dumb question but I want to be sure. Each prompt can only be filled once per the entire challenge, Rivht? Or is it once per week? L. For example - if I fill all..."Hi Kade! You can repeat them as many times as you want.
Wow really? So I could literally fill “mc in her 20s” over and over again with new books? Just want to make sure I don’t mess up. 😂

Yes, if that specific author makes it through each round.

Awssome! Thanks! So if I don’t finish a book I started this week in time, I can just put the full book towards next week, Right?

Yeah, if it works for either Xiran Jay Zhao or V.E. Schwab.

So question. The number at the end of the updated review status posted by the mod in the review thread - that’s for the ALL of the teams combined? So how is the winner of challenge determined in terms of the team? The team that read the most books by the “winning” author? Or the team that read the most books period?
It's the team with the most points. Points come from pages read and buddy reads. It doesn't matter which author wins
