The story transitioned between past and present using multiple points of view (Martha, Max, Phillip Colter, Gabriel, etc.). Were you able to keep up? Were they timed and placed appropriately?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I didn't have any problem keeping up. I liked the multiple POV. It was better than having the information passed via a third party. This gave us a real look at all of the personalities involved instead of getting hearsay evidence.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments It was an easy transition each time. It helped that the author marked it at the beginning of each chapter though. The placement of each chapter were placed as needed throughout the story. It was well written.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments Reading the multiple POVs is easier that listening to them. I found myself getting part way into a section and wondering who the POV is and when did it take place. The audio was excellent, but I switched when the library book came in. I had to go back and review the first third of the book to be sure I had everything straight.

I loved the audio but as Anita said, it took a moment to get whose point of view was being presented. Otherwise, I loved how they all were presented.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I had no problem following the transitions between the present and the past. I liked how we got multiple POVs. It really worked for this story.
