I liked him and I thought he was a good match for Max. Of course I thought Nick was a good match initially. What I like about Ryan is that he isn't working through personal issues. He is open to share everything with Max.
I did not really think much about him at first. There wasn't anything special that stuck out to me. I did kind of roll my eyes at the whole attraction part. Only because Max does this all the time and I felt like she was setting herself up for more heartbreak.
I loved him. He was FBI but came off as having a different mindset than most agents. Max was leery about getting involved with another cop and I don't blame her. He almost seemed too good to be true. No ex, no personal baggage, no overt issues, he was as open as an FBI agent could be,
I really liked him. He was obviously very comfortable with himself, which made him appreciate Max for who she was, as is. I think their attraction was first mainly physical but Max really liked him. She’s a good judge of character so that helped.
I was a bit wary about him at first. When he was first on the scene and Max began to trust him, she showed him the timeline she built in her office, including the postcards. A couple of scenes later Colter had copies of the postcards. I thought at the time that Ryan may have given those to him. After getting to know Ryan as the story went on, I began to like him.
