[WPF] Thea Stilton and The Mountain of Fire by Thea Stilton - 3 stars

I am so charmed by these kids' colorfully illustrated mysteries, I just can't seem to resist them! I think in part it is nostalgia: they remind me of The Happy Hollisters series from my middle grade years.

In this one, Aussie mousling Nicky gets a call from home where the sheep are all sick and losing their wool. Off Thea's sisters go to Australia and an adventure that takes them around Australia, ending at an aboriginal gathering inside Uluru. As reader helps the mouslings save the sheep, lots of interesting information on Australia is shared and puzzles sprinkled to solve.

There are some wonderful 'adult' bits too.
