Book & Author Page Issues

This book is not mine, please move it (part 11)
I am an author who has published 3 books, One Life is not Enough, What Am I Doing Here?: A Journey through Gaia and Alchemy of the Soul - Learning to Dance with Your Own Divinity, however when I check on your website against my name, there are a total of 11 books acredited to me.Please can you remove the additional 8 books from my name and profile as these are written by other people with the same name, Mary Bishop.

Thank you for your help, Scott! Do you know if I should see it disappear right away? For me, it's still visible, but I'm not sure if it usually takes awhile to "stick". ;)
Yeah it might take a day or two.If you look at the book you will see that your name has been removed. It should only have had the version with the initial, as on the book cover.

I am Patti's website manager and she asked to me to correct. I am also a GR librarian.
In addition, her current publisher made a huge mess of her Author Account page yesterday. Patti Callahan and Patti Callahan Henry are one in the same and all her books need to be under one profile.

Looks like they have made Patti Callahan author page and not Patti Callahan Henry. She needs all books merged under PATTI CALLAHAN HENRY. She writes contemporary under PCH and historical under PC. She wants to be try and straighten their mess.
I have her login credentials to both her ccounts but it will not allow me to change her name. Any assistance, is greatly appreciated. Judy

You really should take her email addresses off of the post because this forum is publicly visible. I know she is busy but she will need to address this with Support personally and let them know she needs them to help her rather than get a link to instructions.
Also the members of this group are not part of the process, so that is why she needs to talk to Support.

This is the one I would advise she use the Contact Us link from, and ask for the author profiles to be merged under Patti Callahan Henry.

Please do not edit the "shelf display name," as that is supposed to be last name first.
For future reference, it gets confusing when someone from Goodreads and a librarian are dealing with the same request at the same time. If you contact Support, there is usually no need to post here unless they direct you to.

There's another Dale Smith at https://www.goodreads.com/author/list... who has only books I did write but no biography.
I know there's an American Dale Smith whose a poet and children's author (I'm British and not) but I'm afraid I don't know anything about their bibliography. Is there anything that can be done to tidy it up?

It might take your author page a while to update.You have the default profile for your name, which means that auto-imported books by other authors/illustrators with your name will go to that profile as well. You could ask Support to switch you to the two-space profile for your name, but the flip side of that is that any future books of *yours* won't automatically go to your profile. Unless a particularly prolific author with your name comes along, you may find it easier to simply post in this group as needed.
