I just read this one recently and thought it was really good. I enjoyed Willingham's writing a lot. I thought it was easy to get lost in the story. My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I am excited to read this book. Its sitting on my shelf waiting! All the book nominations for March were excellent choices so it was hard to pick.
I just finished this one and I thought it was a good read. The story kept you turning the pages and the writing was engaging too.
Sarah - I thought there were some great nominations too. I hope you love this one. Corina - I was so impressed with her writing; it didn't read like a debut.
This must be a good one, there's a 20 week waiting list at the library for this one! Looks intriguing.
Just finished it tonight! Was a quick read for me because I was so sucked in from page 1! I agree that it definitely didn't read like a debut novel so I can only imagine how this author will progress with future books! All the characters were very engaging and vivid. This was certainly a 5 star read for me! Thanks for this nomination!!
Wow. Twisty! Such a unique story line, well executed. I had a guess at where the ending might land but still many twists and turns along the way. The author does a good job of narrating thru the eyes of the broken main character. 5 star read for me. I’ll look forward to her next novel!
im quarter into it. I really liked the constant back and forth in time she travels. I also liked her insights into the hypocritical Scandal airing journalism she has had to contend with. Also with such common names Dick, Mona she's made it so close to home - nothing exotic its commendable she's still has kept her act in place.
Leena wrote: "It finished it and i liked it. Quick& fast paced . Im a little disappointed [spoilers removed]"I was disappointed too, but it made sense that it happened.
I really enjoyed the book, it had so many twists and turns! I was worried it would be formulaic but I was proven wrong :)

When Chloe Davis was twelve, six teenage girls went missing in her small Louisiana town. By the end of the summer, Chloe’s father had been arrested as a serial killer and promptly put in prison. Chloe and the rest of her family were left to grapple with the truth and try to move forward while dealing with the aftermath.
Now 20 years later, Chloe is a psychologist in private practice in Baton Rouge and getting ready for her wedding. She finally has a fragile grasp on the happiness she’s worked so hard to get. Sometimes, though, she feels as out of control of her own life as the troubled teens who are her patients. And then a local teenage girl goes missing, and then another, and that terrifying summer comes crashing back. Is she paranoid, and seeing parallels that aren't really there, or for the second time in her life, is she about to unmask a killer?
In a debut novel that has already been optioned for a limited series by actress Emma Stone and sold to a dozen countries around the world, Stacy Willingham has created an unforgettable character in a spellbinding thriller that will appeal equally to fans of Gillian Flynn and Karin Slaughter.
