Regency: Hero gets sick, but no one notices the infected cut on his leg until the Heroine visits. She fears its' so bad that the doctor will want to amputate the leg. Her mother knows what to do to possibly save the leg after dealing with a similar wound for her husband (heroine's father, who is deceased)

Heroine is a country neighbor to the Hero? or was at a house party near his estate, I think she was in some way responsible for him getting sick/injured in the first place?

I also think this was one of a Family series, but can't be sure. Was most likely one of a series at least. I really thought this was one of the Bridgerton girls?

Dates from somewhere between 2000?-2015? I've read it more than once, but still can't remember any other details
