YOOOO I WAS SUPPOSED TO WRITE A POEM FOR ENGLISH CLASS (LA) ITS GONNA BE LINKED BELOW TELL ME IF ITS GOOD
A Narrative Of A Snake
I was walking through the grass,
When I saw a snake.
It was slithering along,
Never taking a break.
It was a beautiful jet black color,
With bright red spots.
It stood out against the green grass,
With a tongue the color of terracotta pots.
I crouched down behind it,
To pick it up carefully.
I held it in my hand,
And let go immediately.
It fell to the ground,
Doubtlessly and definitely dead.
I clutched my finger,
But then it reared its head.
Turns out, it wasn’t dead at all!
It slithered up my foot; I froze with shock.
It exposed its fangs,
But then fell on a big rock.
For a bird had swooped in,
Grabbed it in his claws.
And then the snake was gone,
Now in the bird’s jaws.
“The snake is gone!” I cried,
Grateful for the bird.
For I was saved,
But I still felt perturbed.
I rushed along the path,
Hoping to get home fast.
Well, when I got there,
I found out I arrived there last.
Everyone was talking in pairs,
And then I told them about the snake.
Right then I fell to the ground,
While they tried to keep me awake.

The island has so many road works tho, I'm telling ya
From cherry Lee to Sainsbury's on Google maps, I came across at least three roadworks signs with two diverted traffic signs lol
Let's spice up this chat a bit.
Everyone drop a ghost story you've either encountered or is known around your area/near where you live. I have many. I'll go first
Apparently, around burnt house lane in Newport/shide/ wherever it is, if you walk down the lane and look into the burnt down house, you can first of all smell smoke and then you can usually see a person stood in a fire. O went down there once, I smelt the smoke but didn't see a person
