Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments Giggling again this year at the number of us who say we're medium speed readers, followed by "I'm going to read 3-6 books this week" LOL!!!!!!

I think for me it is because I don't watch TV, exercise or have another hobby so while my reading speed is medium I'm able to complete several books.

I am a medium reader...but I usually put 3-6 for the read a thon because I push myself to read more than normal during that week. I usually have to take a break from reading after a read-a-thon because that many books in a week wears me out.

Truly the thing that binds us all together...misplaced humility about our reading speeds and incredible optimism about our abilities to find reading time lol.
